“Let my sister go first,” I demanded. Eric nodded to his man, instructing him to pull Quinine up. The man untied Quinine but grabbed hold of her. Quinine started to struggle, tears in her eyes.

“Quinine, it is alright.” I reassured her.

“Stop talking,” Eric ordered. He then tied my leg to a metal lamp. It weighs a ton of my leg. This is the last moment of my life. After so many years of my torturing life, I was still suffering at the end of my life too. I laughed, shaking my head.

“I really admire you,” Eric said in an amused voice.

“Why?” I asked, as I looked at him.

“You still can laugh at this moment.”

“Well, this is something I can’t predict.” I explained. Eric raised an eyebrow.

“My death, I mean.” I smiled.

“Are these your last words?”Eric asked, back to his serious tone.

“Yes, Eric. Let’s do this,” I was ready to meet my fate. Eric pulled me near the edge of the yacht. I could hear the muffled shriek of Quinine as she tried to stop what she is saying.

“Bye, Quinine,” I smiled at her as I closed my eyes. Then the gentle push from Eric led me to fall from the highest point of the yacht, I fall and fall in the ocean.

Splash!

The cold water surrounded me as the heavy lamp pulled me deeper and deeper into the black waters. I fought to keep my breath in, containing my last store of oxygen. In my brain, flashes of my whole life went through. From young at 5 years old, my ominous year; till he changed my life, my true love - Jonghyun. Now I could think of him all I want, feel his lost touch, his last scent and his charming smile. I heard his voice, calling me to continue fighting. The cold ocean water numbed my whole body. But I tried and let my arms to continue to reach for the sunlight, and my leg to kick harder. It was hard, being tied to a heavy metal.

I gave up as the cold overtook me, and my arms failed in exhaustion. My ears flooded with water, my lungs burned for more air and my leg pulled by the lamp into the endless ocean.  Water then flooded down the throat, choking and burning.

Goodbye, Jonghyun. I love you forever.
