Filthy Blood
Division of HousesIt was late noon as Solar sat next to another student in the library. Today she was tutoring Kim Yerim, a second year Slytherin who often had trouble with History of Magic, finding the subject to be quite a bore.
“So you have an exam in two weeks?” Solar said, confirming the date.
“Yeah.” Yeri replied, pouting.
“It’s alright, I’ll help you get through these next four chapters and we’ll go from there.” she said.
The two wrapped up their tutoring session and Solar waved goodbye to the young Slytherin as she left with her stack of books.
The Gryffindor turned to the piece of parchment on the table, examining her schedule for the upcoming week. She let out a sigh seeing how packed each day was.
Solar was grateful that her weekends were back to normal however she found them a little boring nowadays no longer required to attend detention.
Pushing the thought to the back of her mind, Solar gathered her belongings ready to return to the the Gryffindor common room as Eric and Irene wanted to have dinner together. They would meet up with Chorong and Changsub at their usual spot in the Great Hall.
“Oops, I’m sorry.” she apologized as she brushed pass a student on the way out.
The boy turned towards her and she did not miss the way his face turned into a scowl as he recognized the person in front of him.
“Watch it will you.” Jisoo muttered, obviously holding an intense hatred for her although Solar had no idea why.
“I’m sorry I wasn’t paying attention.” she said, wide eyed at his reaction.
“You can cut the good girl act you know.” Jisoo scoffed. “I don’t know why you have to try so hard with this ‘I am such a perfect princess’ thing it’s pathetic you know.”
Solar felt nauseous as she heard those words leave his mouth. She took a step back, trembling in her body. Never had anyone in all her five years at Hogwarts insulted her like this. She's always tried her best and had no idea others could have a problem with it.
