Colorful day
My DearFour years old Ryeowook absolutely don't wants to be in that stupid fashion store his appa bought him this afternoon. To be fair, normally shopping is always fun for the cheerful boy, and originally he was very excited when his dad took half a day off, to come and pick him up earlier from kindergarten. But now he is not in the mood for what his father had planned, anymore.
But why they had to come here?
Yesterday, after their regular Sundays bathing routine, Jongwoon had noticed that the sleeves of little Wookie's pajamas no longer reached his son's tiny wrists. Following by a crying fit on the part of the boy, because he absolutely doesn't want that his favorite sweaters would end in a box for clothes to give away. But as the wonderful father Jongwoon is, he promised his little darling an exciting afternoon at the mall, to buy new sweaters and shirts, and everything Ryeowook will need for the upcoming winter season.
It was supposed to be a nice and decent afternoon, just his appa and him, with strolling around from shop window to shop window, in search of new clothings for the little boy. And maybe, yeah maybe there would have been a scoop of ice-cream for the little one, if he had behaved at the end of the day.
But now, Ryeowook doesn't feel like behaving anymore, he wants to leave that store, soon. If it wasn't too rude, he would stamp his little foot and go, but his appa wouldn't like it. Such behavior isn't right in public, he said once.
So he's now sitting on a stool in the shop's changing cabin, dressed in a very ugly and scratchy sweater, that he definitely doesn't want to take home. His little arms are crossed over a stupid looking moose and he has the biggest sulking pout on his face, he ever managed. Yeah, it's even bigger than that one time his appa hadn't allowed him ice-cream for dinner. He checked it in the mirror.
All this caused by one stupid sale assistant, who has welcomed them at the entrance. A young and really annoying kind of woman, who is giggling all the time, even his appa haven't said anything funny, at all. That and the silly glares she sends in his appa's direction, since they had entered the store.
Said woman lost completely against the four year old, as she asked Ryeowook what his favorite color is, and proud Wookie truthfully replied "purple". But instead of being helpful and make use of the information, she laughed it off and explained that this is a color for girls.
That was exactly the moment, little Ryeowook wanted to grab his appa's hand, turn and leave.
The little one almost got lost in that wonderland of frustration, if the familiar, smoky voice of his father hadn't brought him back to reality, "Ryeonggu, are you done, yet? Can I see?"
"No!" was the stubborn answer and definitely not what Jongwoon expected to hear, "What's wrong, my dear?" The parent carefully shoves his head through the curtain to check on his little offspring, and meet a very upset looking boy.
"Hey, why that face? You don't like what we chose?"
"I haven't chose this. It's ugly."
"Oh..."
Puffed apple cheeks are not what the father wanted to see either, so he gets on his knees to be on eye level with his son, "If you really don't like that sweater, you don't have to wear it." The way the sulking boy looks into his eyes, Jongwoon can feel that there is more than just the sweater that the boy doesn't like, but the worried dad is interrupted by the return of the annoying chirping from behind.
"If he doesn't like this kind of pullover, he is welcome to try another one. Here, I have an example with a very cute penguin print on it."
"No! Appa, I don't wan
