With the weather getting warmer and the cherry blossoms growing bigger a lot families like to spend their weekends in the park to have fun and enjoying the nature coming back to life.

It's Sunday morning when a certain four year old is very attentive observing his appa packing sandwiches, drinks and a box of sliced ​​fruits in a woven brushwood basket they want to take to their lunchtime picnic at Incheon Grand Park. 

"Did we also pack buns for the ducklings?"

"Yes, my dear." Jongwoon says with the patience of a rocking horse while he continues packing boxes with food. 

All the past few days little Wookie has been begging his father to take a detour through the park because he wanted to say hello to the doves and ducks that reside there.

"The soft ones, so the little baby ducks don't choke?" asks the small boy in a very worried voice. "I doubt they will do this, but if that makes you feel better, come and double-check on their consistency."

His appa just hands him that paperbag with a gentle smile and watches tiny fingers running carefully over the packed surface. "Yes, I think they're fine," little Ryeowook announces satisfied but seems not ready to let go of the bun filled bag, "Can I put them in my backpack, appa? Just to make sure they won't crush."

Jongwoon's replaying to the big doe eyes with a soft chuckle, gets down on his knees to be on eye level with his son and ruffles the little one's fluffy brown hair, "Ok, my dear. But tell Kiki she isn't allowed to snack on them." Giving his appa an eager nod with a bright grin Wookie hops off to get the small jungle printed backpack and his favorite plushie friend.

Right at lunchtime, father and son arrive at Incheon's gigantic park area. They're walking down the main path that is lined with beautiful sakura trees and pretty blossoms dance in a soft breeze of spring air in a warm wind.

A picturesque view that Jongwoon enjoys while holding hands with his little son and Ryeowookie babbling about everything that comes to his mind. The excited boy is pointing at a little blue bird here, a yellow butterfly there and even discoveres a squirrel running up a tree. Having a cute nursery rhyme on his lips the four year old cheerfully waves to a caterpillar perched on a petal as he picks a daisy for his grandma. 

Among the other families, represented in all kinds of generations for a happy weekend picnic, Jongwoon and his little one find a nice spot close to a big, pink and white sakura tree. 

Wookie kicks off his shoes in to different directions before his short body plops down on the blanket his father had unfold over the grass. 

Immediately he pulls out the yellow giraffe doll who's neck is looking out from the small backpack and hugs fluffy Kiki tight while rolling over the blanket's fabric in joyful giggles. His appa's watching this with a soft loving glim in his eyes. Moments when Ryeowook is like this the father loves the most. 

"Are you hungry, my dear?" Jongwoon kneels down to arrange the boxes with snacks they bought for their picnic. "

Can I have a chocolate cupcake?"

"You wanna start with dessert?"

The slightly reproachful note in his appa's tone makes the boy pout. "Why don't we have sandwiches first?" Jongwoon tries to convince the child who's eyes are still pinned on the cake box. "Come on, you helped preparing them." 

The four year old nods while still sulking, "Uncle Chullie made me washing the vegetables."

Last night Heechul was babysitting his nephew as his brother had to work overtime, for the younger not taking office work home for the weekend. Though the boy had fun preparing the snacks with his favorite uncle the other can't accompany them on today's trip. The pout grows. 

"Don't give me that face. Where is my little sunshine?"

"Why uncle Chullie can't come today? It's sad he isn't here with us."

"I told you he has to meet someone important right now."

"Who is more important than us?" The accusing note in the little voice makes the father laugh and Jongwoon pinches the tiny nose playfully, "This you will understand when you get older, my dear. But imagine how sad your uncle will be when I tell him you're rejecting his food."
