Chaeyoung cried for the first time today. 

She spilled her heart out crying against Lisa’s chest when she saw the latter waiting for her with a bouquet of flowers on her hands. 

“Rosie, I’m so proud of you. You finally made it!” Lisa whispered against her ear as she hushed the other girl. 

“You were very brave to bring these songs to the world. I hope you know that.” Lisa continued while Chaeyoung sobbed harder. 

“I hope she knows that.” Lisa finally said as she kissed the top of Chaeyoung’s head. 

Chaeyoung hopes she knows, too.

It took her agency approximately two years to release her solo and finally it was here. Chaeyoung should feel elated at this, completely happy and grateful. And she is, this has been her dream ever since she was a child. The sleepless nights and sore limbs because of practice during her trainee days were witness to the dream.

But Chaeyoung can feel it, physically even, this gut-wrenching emptiness somewhere inside her, she just doesn’t know what it is.
