Quick spoiler- Retreat is technically 3 days but something happens on the night of the 2nd day that causes you to leave early!

Your POV-

(At Irene's place the day before the retreat, since it was tradition at this point to have a sleepover at either your place or Irene and Jennie's place the night before)

(You)-You guys don't need to worry about me during this retreat, I'm totally over Sehun now

(Jennie)-We both know that's a lie

(Irene)-As long as you're done letting him hurt you then we're here for you (they said giving you a hug)

Fast forward to when you all get to the campsite

The only difference to the campsite from last summer was that we were by a lake this time, which meant that everyone could go swimming and canoe riding!

The moment everyone arrived we had all taken photos before heading to their assigned cabins, unfortunately this year the only person you knew in your room was Sejeong, as all the other girls were from the other school.

But since you no longer had feelings for Sehun, her threats didn't exactly bother you.

However there was someone at the camp that you couldn't get your eyes off of and that is this man right here:

Like the moment you got off the bus and saw him you were like this:

(You)-Who's that? he clearly doesn't go to our school, since he's a different breed

(Jennie)-Wow you really did move on from Sehun after all, he's Mark Lee he goes to Kai's school

(Irene)-Does someone already have a new crush?

(You)-Well I mean it's nice to have eye candy so that this retreat won't be a complete waste of time

(Jennie)-yeah well you might want to lay low on your crush since he has a fan club already (she says pointing at the girls following him around)

Meanwhile with Kai and Sehun

(Sehun to Kai)-Who's that kid? (he asks after seeing a bunch of girls following a random guy)

(Kai)-Oh that's my buddy Mark, he recently moved here from Canada so yeah he's been pretty popular 

Mark then heads over to Kai after managing to get away from the girls following him.

(Mark)-Hey Kai, we're in the same cabin right?

(Kai)-Yeah also this is my friend Sehun

(Mark)-Nice to meet you I'm Mark (he said giving him a friendly smile)

(Sehun)-Nice to meet you too (he says not making direct eye contact)

Mark then walks off into their shared cabin to avoid the awkward tension.

During dinner

While you were sitting down at one of the tables waiting for Jennie and Irene, you ended making eye contact with Mark to which you both just smiled as he went to sit by Kai and Sehun.

(Jennie)-Y/N-ah do you want my extra cookie? 

(Irene)-So I see your new crush and your old crush are sitting together

(You)-Yeah I guess they're friends (you said pretending to not care)

(Jennie whispers to Irene)-"should we get Kai and his friends to come over to our table?"

(Irene to Jennie)-"omg yes, let's make Sehun jealous"

Before you knew it Jennie had texted Kai and his friends to come over which then caused him, Sehun and Mark to sit at your table.

To your luck you ended up sitting between Mark and Sehun.

Here's how the entire situation at the table looked like:

(Jennie and Kai)-(feeding each other)

Meanwhile Irene was alone texting Jinyoung on her phone, while you, Mark, and Sehun were the awkward bunch but you could feel Sehun's stare towards you.

You then decided to talk to Mark to forget about Sehun.

(You)-Hey you're Mark right? I'm Y/N

(Mark)-Hey Y/N-ah nice to meet you, you must be close with Jennie I see.

(You)-Yeah (you said while looking at Jennie with a look that says "why are you doing this to me?)

(Sehun)-(Gets a phone call and walks off)

(Kai to Mark)-So Mark Y/N also speaks English so I think you two might get along 

(Mark to you)-Oh really where are you from? LA? Canada?

(You)-I'm from Atlanta actually

(Mark)-When did you move here?

(You)-About 5 years ago, what about you?

(Mark)-It's been about a month since I transferred here from Canada because of my family's business.

For a while the two of you spoke and continued to get to know each other, it felt nice for you since you hardly spoke English anymore so having a new friend that was also bilingual was nice.

Soon it became darker so Mark walked you back to your cabin.

(You)-it was nice meeting you

(Mark)-yeah this might be a weird question but would you want to go on a canoe ride with me tomorrow afternoon?

(You)-Sure that sounds fun

Mark then walked off and you were about to go inside until you saw a note left on the side of your door

The note stated:

"meet me tomorrow afternoon by the basketball courts" - Sehun

Who will you spend the afternoon with tomorrow? Mark or Sehun?
