On a Friday night

(You)-Wow Mark you invited me to a fancy restaurant, what's the occasion?

(Mark)-My friend owns this restaurant and wanted us to try some of their new menu options, would you like some wine with your steak?

You nod while he pours you a glass

While the two of you were enjoying your dinner, Sehun barges into the restaurant and walks to your table to stand in front of you.

(Sehun to you)-What do you think you are doing right now?

(You)-Eating dinner, you want some babe?

(Sehun)- Don't babe me, I've been texting and calling you all day

(You)-Sorry my phone must've ran out of battery, why don't you have a seat since you're here as I'm sure Mark's friend would like more reviews on their dishes.

Sehun gives in and sits next to you and the waiter brings in another plate for him.

(Mark)-Y/N-ah there's something on your chin

(Sehun)-I'll get that (Sehun says while getting a napkin and rubbing it on your skin before Mark could give you a napkin himself)

(You)-Mark would you excuse us, it seems we'll be babysitting for the rest of the night I apologize for his presence. (you said while pulling Sehun away from the table and into the hallway near the bathroom)

Mark nods while smiling as his response.

(You)-What are you doing here? I told you I'd meet you back at my apartment later.

(Sehun)-Well I was on my way to your place, until I saw you and Mark through the window and couldn't help but come in since you never know if Mark might make a move on you.

(You)-So you were jealous? Tell you what if you can be nice to Mark for the next 30 minutes then I'll spend the rest of the night with you. I promise.

You then inform Sehun to head back first since you actually had to use the restroom and this is how the situation with Mark and Sehun was back at the table.

(Sehun)-So why'd you invite her out of everyone you knew?

(Mark)-It's not my fault you can't afford to take her to nice places like this, I figured she'd enjoy the experience.

(Sehun)-Someone still has a crush don't they? Well seeing who she chose I think it's safe for you to give up now

(Mark)-I'm not giving up because we both know Y/N wants someone who actually knows her and listens to her

(Sehun)-What's that supposed to mean? You think you're better than me?

(Mark)-I don't think, I know I'm better than you. The moment I play my special song on the piano for her I'm sure she'll know who loves her more. I'm actually glad you came since you'll need to see this more than anyone.

Before Sehun could even utter a word, you came back from the restroom and sat down next to Sehun to finish your meal without knowing a thing.

After dessert

Mark suddenly got up from his chair as his friend who was also the host of the restaurant's grand opening introduced Mark up to the stage next to this grand piano they had in the corner of the room.

Mark then took the mic to say this:

"In honor of my friend's restaurant's grand opening I wanted to also dedicate this special song to a certain lady in the audience today"

He then sits down and proceeds to play the song and sing: "Because I love you"

The lyrics of the song went something like this:

"The look you gave me at first"

"Was it only my delusion"

"Your pure smile had made me a fool"

"Yesterday I hated myself for being unable to forget you who had left"

"But now I realize, I exist only for you"

"To you who has come back"

"I will give you my everything"

"We will be forevermore"

"Stay the same together"

"Because I love you and only you"

After he finishes singing he brings out a rose from the back of his pocket and walks towards your table to give it to you, in that moment Sehun leaves out of anger without you.

(Mark to you)-Will you accept this rose Y/N-ah?

Out of peer pressure you just gave in and took the rose while everyone else clapped thinking you said yes to his confession.

However worrying about Sehun you ran out of the restaurant shortly after accepting his rose but saw that Sehun was long gone.

You tried to call and text him but he wouldn't respond and in that moment you couldn't help but cry feeling betrayed.

Seeing you cry Mark soon headed out to find you and gave you his jacket to wear before he took you to his car so he could drive you home.

Outside of your front door

You tried to give Mark his jacket back before heading to your place but he insisted that you kept it.

(You)-Yah what was that earlier? (you said hitting his arm) You don't actually still have feelings for me do you?

(Mark)-Ahh you got me, listen I know you're in a relationship right now but just know that I'll always be here for you okay?

(You)- Mark as much as it pains me to say this, I can't be friends with someone who has feelings for me, I'm sorry (you said turning away but Mark stops you by giving you a back hug)

(Mark)-Please don't let me go, give me a chance. I can be better than him.

Little did you know that from afar Sehun had been watching the two of you not knowing what to do, since he knew that he should be stopping Mark but in that moment he felt weak to do anything.

You then turned around to tell Mark to leave before getting your keys to open the door and head inside.

(Your thoughts)-"What just happened? I'm not supposed to have second male lead in my life, how did this happen? My life is a mess!"
