Your POV-

(In the girls group chat with Jennie and Irene):

(Irene)-you did what?! Why are you sending him away from you if you like him?

(You)-I was just helping out a friend of mine that's all and it's not like Sehun likes me now anyway

(Jennie)-how does he act towards you?

(You)-well since he's not my departments manager I don't really have a reason to see him as much other than when I'm on my lunch break. 

(Irene)-do things seem to be going well between your friend and him?

(You)-for the most part yeah they seem happy together 

(Jennie)-well let's test his feelings then

(You)-what do you mean?

(Jennie)-first step is to ask him about hanging out on the weekend since if he's interested in your co-worker he'll say he doesn't have time but if he says he's free he's interested in you and not her.

Here's how the first attempt went:

You had bought him an iced Americano and went all the way to his desk (on the other side of the room).

(Sehun)-oh y/n-ah what are you doing here?

(You)-I figured you might be thirsty while working so I brought you this

(Sehun)-thanks, is that all?

(You)-well I wanted to also ask you about your weekend plans

(Sehun)-I thought you didn't want to talk or hang out with me (he says jokingly)

(You)-if you're not free it's totally fine I get it you have a girlfriend and all so (you said as you were about to walk away and turned around from the embarrassment)

That was until he said these exact words: "what are you talking about I don't have a girlfriend"

You then turned around in shock 

(You)-what do you mean you don't? I thought things were going well between my coworker and you.

(Sehun)-We did go out on one date but that was it really 

(You)-ohh wow I didn't know 

(Sehun)-So does Saturday afternoon work for you?

(You)-huh? (you said looking completely lost)

(Sehun)- Babo you were the one who asked about my weekend plans remember? So yeah I'm free 

(You)-ahh right, Saturday afternoon sounds great

(Sehun)-Since you're the one that asked me, text me where you want to go and I'll be there (he says while walking off to go to a meeting)

(Your thoughts)-"wait that actually worked?! oh great I have to go shopping now"

You then texted Irene and Jennie that their plan worked and this is what they said as their response:

(Irene)-It's about time!

(Jennie)-Congrats now make sure he's a keeper, if he breaks your heart again tell him we'll break his

(You)-Alright thanks moms, I'll let you know how our date goes!

On Thursday night

*you received a new message from Sehun*

(Sehun)-So have any idea on where you want to go for our date?

(You)-Hmm what are you in the mood for? Want to grab something to eat?

(Sehun)-Sure going out to eat would be nice

(You)-Out of Italian, Thai, and Japanese food pick one

(Sehun)-Which one would you prefer?

(You)-Good question I love all of them so....

(Sehun)-I see that this conversation is going to last all night then :D

(You)-You know what let's just keep it simple then, we can write down everything we want to do in a list and do them one by one.

(Sehun)-Alright sounds like a plan, let's meet by a nearby cafe on Saturday and we can check off our activities as we do them. Since it's late though we should both get some sleep, so good night.

(You)-Goodnight to you too~

As you were putting away your phone on your bedside table you couldn't help but smile since your crush since highschool is now finally your soon to be boyfriend!

But you also couldn't help but worry about how to act on a date since this was actually the first time you've been on one.

What will happen if you make a mistake?

Will he think you're not good enough for him then?

For the remainder of your night you were tossing and turning with questions that roamed throughout your mind.
