T.O.P’s POV

Circa 2014.

“Aish! Jjangmae will kill us!” She hissed at me while fidgeting her sunglasses. 

“Relax, he can’t kill. He just bites.” I chuckled and fixed my hoodie. We are both wearing layers of clothing despite the humid weather just to cover our faces. It’s 3 am here in Sentosa and we decided to meet in the pool area of the hotel after the tempting call. Unfortunately, there was no available room left so I just told her we should just enjoy some fresh air. It obviously did not go well and we are now sweaty as hell because of our silly disguise. 

“Why would you even ask me to come down if you do not have a concrete plan?!” She kept on peeking from her dark and roundly large sunglasses to check out if somebody recognizes us, then would instantly fix it again on her face. She apparently makes herself suspicious. “Why would there still be people here when it’s already dawn?! Are they secret lovers, too?!” She kept on muttering till we arrived at the garden. 

“Aish, there are still other people. Too bad we can’t kiss,” I joked, making her stomp on my feet. “Ouch! I’m wearing slippers!” 

A woman wearing a shabby jacket is posing for the camera with the various green plants as her backdrop. The garden seemed like a secluded area perfect for secret dates. The guy taking the picture is probably her boyfriend.

“Oh?! Chaerin-ah?!” 

Dara suddenly ran towards the couple so I just unconsciously followed her. Wait, did she say Chaerin?

“Unnie! Oppa!” The lady wearing a lousy outfit bursted out in bewilderment. I inevitably frowned when I finally recognized that she was really someone we knew. 

“Yah, Charin-ah, I thought you’re soundly asleep — oh! Song Mino?!” Dara uttered in bafflement. Her eyes landed back and forth to Chaerin and Mino. “Yokshi,” she amusingly added.

“So why are you guys together?” I asked while playfully wiggling my eyebrows. 

The two looked really astonished. I was astounded when Mino repeated my question. “Why are you guys together, too?”

The four of us were just exchanging looks as if pondering who should answer first. Dara giggled and promptly clung into my left arm. She was basically pulling and hugging my arm like a child asking me to buy her some toys. I couldn’t help but laugh when Mino covered his mouth with his hand that he almost forgot he was holding something.

“Yah, my camera!” Chaerin shrieked. 

“Mino-yah, I think it’s time for you to know our secret. We are the Doom Dada family after all,” she cracked up so I couldn’t help but smile goofily. 

It took a few minutes for Mino to process what Dara said. I am not even sure if he understood it clearly. He still looked dumbfounded even when Dara terrorized them with questions. This pairing is quite a surprise to me, unlike Dara’s case who seemed like she already had an idea. It was like having them caught in the act just confirmed her assumptions. 

“Unnie, you’re extra-hyper just because you’re with Tabi Oppa!” Chaerin lashed out. 

“Aigoo, Chaerin-ah! Don’t change the topic!” Dara responded roguishly to her.
