CH10: Please send some help for me

Inside the minimalist office, the room was so quiet and only a few sounds were made from the keyboard and pen.
 

Taehyung held his temple from a sudden headache as he coughed dryly. He caught the flu when his friends decided to swim late at night last night. He has to curse Jimin and Jungkook for making a dare. But not only he caught the flu but the rest of his friends as well.

 

"President Kim, here's your medicine." Jack gave the bag with medicine inside after he bowed and greeted his boss.

"Thank you." He said as he took some medicine. Jack immediately got warm water for his boss and offered it to him, which the man took as he drinks down his medicine.

Then, Jack brought out a small paper bag and put down some bottles of lemon juice on his boss's table. Taehyung looked at him questioningly. "What's this?"

Jack happily answered, "President, I saw Ms. Jisoo in the Pharmacy this morning buying some vitamins. She asked me why I am there and I told her that you caught the flu. She then gave me these juices and ask me to let you drink this, so you would feel better."

Taehyung was taken aback, the girl can make him surprised. The corners of his mouth turned up as he took one bottle and looked at it. 

He put the rest of the medicine in his drawer and looked at Jack then eyeing the lemon juice. Jack knew what to do as he immediately took it and placed it on the fridge, "How's the thing I asked you to check?" Taehyung asked after taking a sip from the lemon juice that seems tasted sweet.
 

Jack immediately remembered and reported what he found out, "President, Ms. Jisoo is nominated for the Best Actress."
 

Taehyung nodded as the corner of his lips quirked up, he knew that she can get the award. "Who are the others?"
 

Jack stood straight, "Jung Somin, Kim Yoona and..." he hesitantly continued
 

Taehyung's brows furrowed, "and?"
 

"Irene Bae," Jack answered, his voice sounded a little nervous. His boss hated the couple and his mood might change.
 

"Who is leading the poll?" He asked seriously.
 

Jack gulped once before answering, "Irene Bae is leading..." he cautiously said. Taehyung scoffed at what he heard. Do people like that kind of acting from that girl? Seriously? He asked himself.
 

Jack saw this and added quickly to neutralize, "But Ms. Kim Jisoo is in the second place. The gap is not that big, President Kim."
 

Taehyung nodded with a hum. As he leaned back on his swivel chair.
 

"Should we do something, President Kim?" Jack asked.

 

Taehyung smiled, and Jack got used to this ever since his boss met Jisoo. "No, but I want you to watch it closely."

 

"Yes, President Kim." He nodded as he went out of the office.

 

Taehyung looked out from his office huge window overlooking Seoul, he took out his phone and dialed someone, "I want you to dig about Irene Bae and Kim Suho's families."

 

After a few minutes, he ended the call. He was about to go back to work when a message is delivered. It was enough to make him feel better.

 

Jisoo Park

President Kim, I hope you are doing well now. I happen to see your secretary in the pharmacy and told me you caught the flu. Please drink up the juices I gave your secretary. It will make you feel better quickly.
 

"Thank you." He didn't forget to reply with a smile seen on his face. 
 

After a few minutes, another message came and he didn't know why he was even waiting for her reply.
 

"Please take a rest and do not overwork yourself, President Kim! Take care!"
