Krystal's ward

"Hey there Krystal, feeling alright?" asked Jessica tenderly

Krystal just came out of the surgery, Dr.Kang said that Krystal's surgery went well.
And there's no sign of her body rejecting the bone marrow.
Just that they left her with an oxygen mask is because she's too weak for now.
So the oxygen mask is just helping her to breathe.

"Yeah how are you feeling now baby Jung?" asked Tiffany while brushing her fringe away from her forehead

"Are you okay Krystal?" Taeyeon asked, looking at her with much care&concern

Krystal just smiled, nodded and fell back into her deep slumber.

Jessica's POV

Phew..
Krystal's finally recovering.
After so long.
Im really glad for her though.
Thank you appa&omma.
Im sure its because of you that Krystal made it through.

"Im going back to the office"

She's going back to work again..
She havent even eaten her dinner..
What if she's got gastric problem?

Taeyeon then walked out of the ward and head towards the hospital lobby.

"Im going up to pass the dinner pack to Tiffany unnie then"

"Thanks Yoona, after that you can just go back or look for your YURI"
"Yuri had left work already" smiled Taeyeon

"Jinja?! Im going back to surprise her then! Thanks unnie!"

So they went on separate ways, Yoona up to the ward while Taeyeon on the car towards Jessica's office.

Jessica's Office

*Knock knock*

"Yuri? I thought i've already asked you to go home and rest"
"Why are you back here again?" Jessica asked without looking up.

"Yeah, you asked your secretary to go home and rest"
"You care about other people's health but not yours Sica" Taeyeon pointed out

Hearing a different voice, Jessica's head shot up and was surprised to see Taeyeon here.

"Why are you here Taeyeon?"
"Arent you at the hospital with Tiffany?"

"Ahh.. 'Cause i've figured it out that i dont think you're gonna take dinner too"
"So i brought dinner up for and eat together"
"And i mean EAT TOGETHER, not EAT&WORK TOGETHER"
"Here, eat it" Taeyeon said as she pass Jessica her dinner.

Hmm..
She seems so sweet to me..
So caring as always..
I love this warm feeling that she's always giving out..

As they were eating&chatting like some long-lost friends, Jessica asked Taeyeon a funny question.

"My mum died when i was 8 and Krystal's 3"
"She died of leukemia as there wasnt any suitable donor and sadly, Krystal inherited mum's leukemia"
"My dad, ever since my mum passed away, he didnt bother about us at all."
"He's always giving all his time for the business, that why our business became so big"
"He stopped when Krystal was diagnosed with leukemia and started giving his full attention to Krystal but not me"
"He felt that i was the one who 'caused Krystal to get leukemia 'cause i wasnt taking good care of Krystal when he was working"
"So I think.. He hated me much.."

Upon completing this sentence, Taeyeon saw a tear rolled down Jessica's cheeks.

"So, even if im sick, had an asthma attack, running a high fever, he never did once took care of me"
"Neither did he looked at me"
"Its only Krystal who called Dr.Choi for me"
"Until then, 4 months ago, when my dad was rushing to the hospital 'cause Krystal fainted at home, got brought into the hospital"
"He met with an accident.. And on his way to the hospital.. He just couldnt make it.. And left us.."
"Since then, i took up his position, managed his company & took care of Krystal"
"But i didnt blame him at all. Im sure my dad loves me too. As much as how much he love Krystal 'cause i love him too, Taetae"

Tears were flowing down her cheeks like a river after she finished telling Taeyeon about her family.

"Hush hush.. Sica.. Dont cry.. Im here for you" Taeyeon hushed while putting Jessica's head on her chest, patting her head.
"Im sorry to hear about your past Sica, but from now on, I'll be here for you"
"As well as Tiffany&Krystal im sure"
"Be strong Sica. Hwaiting yeah?"

"Hwait.." "hwaiting.." Jessica said in between sobs.

I didnt expect her past to be like this..
Life must be really hard on her..

And she started doing dorky actions to cheer Jessica up.
She knew that its partly her fault.
If she didnt ask Jessica about her past,
she wouldnt be crying right now.

Tiffany&Krystal's side

"Hey baby Jung, you're awake again"
"You feeling better now?"

Krystal pointed to her oxygen mask,
indicating to Tiffany to help her remove it.
After observing her actions, Tiffany removed her oxygen mask for her and help her sit up.

"Tiff unnie.." Krystal called out weakly

"Yup anything for you baby Jung?"

"Im fine, feelling better.."
"But where's Jessica unnie?"

"Erm.. she's back in her office.."
"She rushed here to see you before your surgery without completing her work"
"So she had to go back and complete it"

"But Tiff unnie.."
"Its already 11.35pm.. So late already.."
"She has to rest.." whined Krystal

"I know baby Jung"
"I persuaded her.. But she's just too stubborn"

"Then Tiff unnie, had Jessica unnie taken her dinner yet?"
"She's been skipping her meals recently 'cause of her work"
"She's getting busier and busier"

"Hmm.. I guess she did'
"Taeyeon should have bought her dinner 'cause she bought me one but didnt pass it to me personally but through her secretary"

"Oh, thats better I guess"
"Tiff unnie, you can head home and rest you know"
"I can manage here alone"

"uh-uh. Nope im staying here baby Jung. I promised Jessica to stay with you throughout the whole thing"
"I can just sleep here" Tiffany said while pointing towards the couch next to her bed.

"You'll catch a cold there unnie!"

"Dont worry baby Jung! I brought my PINK BLANKET&JACKET!"
"woohoo PINK!"

"Hahas, unnie i see that you're forever a fan of PINK"

"Of course! Pink's my life!"
"Baby Jung, go back to sleep now alright"

"Okay unnie" Krystal smiled and closed her eyes while Tiffany help her put back her oxygen mask.

Tiffany wore her pink jacket and laid down on the couch with her pink blanket over and went into deep slumber.
At around 1.15am, the door of Krystal's ward opened.
It was Jessica, she was entering the room quietly and sat down on the chairs provided while brushing Krystal's fringe away,
looking at her with so much concern in her eyes.
Their sisterly love is not a thing that can be doubted.
While Jessica was Krystal's hair, she slowly let fatique took over her and fell into a deep slumber.

"Unnie.. Unnie.."

Jessica felt a slight push on her shoulders, she slowly sat up and saw Krystal smiling at her.
Jessica smiled back, and patted Krystal's head.

"Krystal, feeling good?"

"Neh unnie. Why did you sleep here? You should have went home to sleep!"
"You could have caught a cold!" Krystal whispered, not wanting to wake the tired Tiffany up.

Tiffany's been taking care of the Krystal the whole day yesterday.
Its a natural thing that she's tired.

"Hahas, i came here to look at you. Wanna see how you're doing"
"But i fell asleep here"

*Coughs coughs*

"Unnie, did you just cough? I told you you'll catch a cold here!"

"Ani. I didnt. You must be hearing things!"
"Im fine okay, perfectly fine!"

"Unnie.. Dont lie to me.. I know you well. Both of us has a weak body"
"Even the slightest thing can get us sick"

"Krystal-ah.. Unnie's fine.. really.."

"If you insist.."

"Krystal ah.. since you're okay already, unnie's going back to the office okay?"
"Tiff unnie will take care of you"

"Unnie.. Wait.. Is it possible for me to go home?"
"I dont want Tiff unnie to stay in the hospital with me, its hard on her"
"An international model sleeping on a hospital couch while looking after a nobody!"

"Krystal-ah, you're not a nobody to Tiffany okay.."
"You're her baby Jung"
"But yeah, i guess you're right. Its not good for her to sleep on a couch"
"It'll be better to be at home"
"Oh okay, you rest well while i go and look for your doctor before heading to the office"

At Dr.Kang's office

"Hey Ms.Jung, anything's wrong?"

"Erm Dr.Kang, I was wondering if you could discharge Krystal today?"

"But all the medical supplies needed are here, Ms Jung"

"Dr.Kang, if medical supplies is what you are worried about, then it shouldnt be a problem"
"I can pay for her medical supplies to bring it to our house."
"Some of the items needed we already have it such as the IV stand, oxygen mask & blaah blaa"
"I guess you just need to bring the medicine she needs"
"And if you'll need me to hire her a 24hour nurse, its fine with me too" smile Jessica

"Okay.. If thats the case.. I'll discharge her later, and i'll just appoint a nurse to go back with her"
"When i discharge her, i'll leave her IV needle on so that i wont have to insert it in again"
"So when she's back home on her bed, the nurse will hang the IV drip back for her"

"Okay can. Thanks Dr.Kang!"
"I should be off then! Goodbye!"

Jessica walked backed to Krystal ward and told her what Dr.Kang told her.
She was really glad to be able to go home.
She missed her bed and everything at home.
On top of it, Tiffany can rest well on her own bed rather then a couch.
After telling Krystal everything, Jessica headed back to the office to continue her daily routine of documents & meetings.

On the car

*Coughs coughs coughs*

Yuri looked at Jessica, wondering if she's okay.
But shrugged it off thinking maybe its nothing much.
Even if she asked, Jessica would just tell Yuri its nothing much to worry.

*Sniffs sniffs*

Yuri's POV

Did Ms Jung caught a cold?
Its really sad for her.
She cant go on medical leave since the company's still in a mess.
But her health is not helping at all..

It was true that she caught a cold.

Ms Jung asked me to get her a pack of painkillers on my way back for lunch.
I think she really caught a cold but im sure she's not gonna admit it.

5 minutes after Yuri left,
a knock on the door was heard.
And someone was walking into the office.
Jessica was coughing&sniffing that she didnt notice someone was entering the office.

"Omo omo! Sica. you're sick?!" Taeyeon asked as she ran towards Jessica

"Hmm? *Sniffs* Nope, its nothing. Dont worry Taetae" assured Jessica

"Are you sure you're fine? 'Cause you dont look fine to me you know?" Taeyeon questioned her with doubt.

"Hahs, yup im fine as long as you're here with lunch with me Taetae" Jessica replied while closing the document that she was going through on her hands.
"Same old rules right Taetae, no work when eating"
"I see you brought so much food"

"Yup same old rules Sica!"
"And yup, i brought lots of food to share with you"
"I want you to be healthy you know! But it doesnt seem like you are to me" Taeyeon frowned

"I am, Taetae. You're worrying too much!"
*Coughs coughs*

"Thats because you're always making people worried!" argued Taeyeon

"Okayokay..*Sniffs* Lets just stop here and enjoy our food okay?"

"Eat more alright" Taeyeon smiled and laid all the food nicely on the table for Jessica.

While they were eating, Taeyeon suddenly bend forward to Jessica,
whereby their face was just an inch apart from each other.
Taeyeon was trying to clean Jessica's cheek.
Something got onto her cheek while she was eating.
But neither did Taeyeon know that Jessica was blushing,
ALOT.

"Sica? Whats wrong? You looked flushed. Are you having a fever?!" Taeyeon asked, full of concern.

"Ani.. its nothing. im fine" *Coughs coughs* Jessica said while giving her a smile

Why did her face looked so flushed?
Is she sick?

Yuri was seen walking in the office.

"Yuri-ah.. dont tell me you forgot about my painkillers when you're having fun with Yoona?"

"OMO!! Sorry Ms.Jung!! I forgot!! I'll go and buy right now!!"

Just as Yuri was turning around and heading towards the door,
Jessica stopped her.

"Aish.. nevermind. *Sniffs* We've got no more time to spare too. *Sniffs* Lets move to the meeting room to meet up with the other head of departments for a meeting"

"Okay.. Sorry Ms.Jung" said Yuri guiltily

So they went on with their schedule for the day.

Tiffany&Krystal's side

"Hey baby Jung! Feeling good 'cause we're back in your own home?" Tiffany asked as she skipped her way into the room.

"Yup unnie! Of course. Its just that these stuff are making me uncomfortable" Krystal replied while pointing to the wires&IV drip.

"Awww. Come on baby Jung, it will be off from you soon! Im sure of that!"

"Tiff unnie, im so sorry to have you take care of me ever since you returned to Korea"
"I felt so bad, making you an international model to take care of a nobody like me unnie"

"Krystal Jung!! Stop saying that, yes im an international model. But no, you're not a nobody to me"
"You're my baby Jung. And you forever will be!"
"And taking care of you is what i agreed with Jessica earlier on"
"I could have rejected but i wont" Tiffany pointed out and gave Krystal a hug, landing a peck on her forehead.

"You're just like my own younger sister Krystal"
"I'll do what i can to take care of you, im back to Korea for a holiday"
"So a holiday means im gonna spend it with you guys, it doesnt matter what i do"
"Plus, i want you to feel better, you get me?"

Yuri went down and prepare for the last schedule of the day.
While Jessica sat on her chair, massaging her temples.
She knew that she's definitely having a fever.
But no, she cant afford to rest.
She gotta hang on till weekend and hopefully,
she get to rest early on weekends.

Coughs,runny nose, fever.

Its just the same old thing,
asking how am i coping,

After the dinner with the directors, Jessica reached home at around 10.10pm and was welcomed by Tiffany with a thermometer in her hands. Tiffany was really worried for Jessica's health. They have been like sisters for years, surely she's worried for Jessica.

"Jessica, come on, take your temperature"

"Ani, Tiff, im fine really!!" Jessica said refusing the check.

"Nope, im not going to let it rest till you let me check your temperature!"
"Its the thermometer thats gonna tell me that if you're fine or not!"

"Im really.. FINE!" Jessica shouted and ran back to her room.

Jessica was gasping for air in the room, coughing.
She knew that if Tiffany got her temperature, she's not going to let me go for work tomorrow morning.
Whats more, Tiffany will definitely call Dr.Choi down to their house.

I know that you're concern about me..
But just give me a few more days i'll rest okay..
