"Taeyeon?"
"Taeyeon?" called Yoonyul as they gave Taeyeon a slight push on the shoulders.

"Taeyeon, you awake?" asked Hyoyeon

"Yeah, how are you feeling now?"
"Your fever didnt subside at all"
"Do you want us to bring you to the hospital?" asked Tiffany worriedly

"Unnie, your face is so flushed" commented Seohyun

All these words of concern and care filled the room but not Taeyeon's ears.
She couldnt hear anything else but words that Jessica said to her.

"Because i never loved you"
"I was just fooling around with you"
"Now that i see your tears, crying over me for breaking up with you"
"Its giving me a sense of satisfaction"

These words, these hurtful words, repeated over and over again in Taeyeon's mind.
And she just laid on the bed, dazed as tears started falling off her pale face.

"Taeyeon?"
"Are you hurting or something?"
"Do you wanna go to the hospital?" asked Sooyoung

"..."
"..."
"..."

"I think this is not right, Soo"
"Think we better call a doctor down to take a look at her"
"Maybe her fever's too high thats why she's like this" suggested Sunny

"Okay, i'll go and call Kyuhyun oppa for a doctor" offered Seohyun

An hour later, when the doctor came with Kyuhyun,
the girls sat in the living room to wait for the doctors diagnosis for Taeyeon and started discussing.

"Girls, what happened to Taeyeon&Jessica last night?"
"They were really happy when they left us" said Sunny

"Now, come to think of it"
"Where is Jessica?"
"She ought to be responsible for Taeyeon's state!" blamed Hyoyeon

"Yeah, how can she get so irresponsible!" agreed Sooyoung

"Hey girls, things might not be what you think.." said Tiffany softly

Tiffany couldnt bear to hear anymore critcism made to her best friend.
It hurt her so much when the other members dont know a single thing but kept on criticising Jessica.
Jessica was the most responsible person she ever knew.
How can they take Jessica as such an irresponsible person.

"Then what do you even know about her?"
"Saying that you're best friend" challenged Hyoyeon

"Girls, chill okay?"
"I've got something to announce" said Kyuhyun as he stood up to stop the fight.
"Jessica left us"

"WAE?!"
"Now she left us?"
"How irresponsible can she get?"
"Now being such a coward after landing Taeyeon in this state, dont even dare to turn up?" shouted Sooyoung  but neither did she knew that Jessica, on the other hand was fighting for her life.

"Are you joking oppa?" asked Yoonyul

"Im not, im serious"
"Jessica got her own valid reason to leave"

"Whats her valid reason then?!" asked Sunny

"I promised her i wont tell you girls" replied Kyuhyun as he prayed for her silently in his heart, praying for Jessica's recovery.

"Sooyoung&Hyoyeon, stop blaming Jessica"
"You girls dont even know her!"
"She's sick ever since she was born!"
"All of you dont even know a single thing!"
"And, let me tell you, i know that Jessica loved Taeyeon, a lot"
"If Taeyeon was in the rain last night crying her eyes out"
"Im sure Jessica was also in the rain crying her eyes out"
"Dont you girls assume anything you want!" shouted Tiffany

Everyone was shocked by Tiffany's sudden outburst as she walked into Taeyeon's room.

"Im sure Jessica has her reason"
"Her love for Taeyeon is really amazing.." agreed Yoonyul
"Because the 3 of you came into our life at a later part"
"You dont know anything about it"
"Jessica once took a bullet for Taeyeon, went through lots just to be with Taeyeon"
"She even shielded Taeyeon from a slash after taking a bullet for her"
"And when the paramedics arrived, she urged the paramedics to save Taeyeon first instead of her"
"Really, dont assume anything" said Yoonyul as they walked off into Taeyon's room.

"Did we really said something wrong?"
"Why on earth did the 3 of them exploded on us like some timebomb?" asked Sooyoung

"Unnie, i think you did" said Seohyun awkwardly

Taeyeon's room

"Taeyeon's basically fine for now except that her fever was really high"
"Which is pretty dangerous"
"And, i recommend you to give her rest from singing for now"
"She's got a pretty bad throat infection now"
"Which also contributed a lot to her fever" explained Dr.Lee to Kyuhyun

"Okay, will do"
"Thanks Dr.Lee"

"And, Kyuhyun, i'm leaving 3 bags of saline solution here"
"Change it for Taeyeon once this one" Dr.Lee said as he pointed over to the current bag of saline solution being hung over the coat stand
"Finishes"
"And, here are 3 bags of glucose solution too"
"You see the two bags of IV, 1 is the saline solution, the other one is this glucose pack"
"Do change it for her, 'cause im sure she wont have any appetite to eat for now unless her fever goes off"
"And its gonna take a few days for it to totally got off" explained Dr.Lee

"Okay, i'll take note of it"
"Anymore that i should look out for?" asked Kyuhyun

"Nothing much, and the IV"
"I'll come over the day after to get it out for her"
"If anything's wrong, do not hesistate to call me back"
"And before i leave, here's her medicine"
"If she cant take it, inject it into her IV"
"I've prepared all these syrups instead of pills" smiled Dr.Lee

"Thank you so much Dr.Lee" Kyuhyun thanked as he send Dr.Lee out.

Just then, Taeyeon started waking up.

"Taeyeon-ah, are you awake?"
"Conscious?" asked Tiffany as she sat down on the side of Taeyeon's bed.

"Tiffany.." Taeyeon started as tears fell down her cheeks and hugged Tiffany tightly.

Looking at this, Tiffany motioned the others to leave the room first and let Tiffany have a talk with Taeyeon.
After the girls left the room, Tiffany pushed Taeyeon away from her and held onto her arms.

"Taeyeon, do you want to talk to me about this?" asked Tiffany slowly as she wiped the tears of Taeyeon's face.

"Tiffany, she broke up with me last night"
"She said she never loved me"
"She was just fooling around with me"
"She said that was a sense of satisfaction when she saw me crying over her last night after she initiated the breakup" cried Taeyeon
"Why?! I thought she loved me, i loved her so much"
"Why Tiff, why?!"
"Why must she do this to me?!"

"Taeyeon, i dont know why Jessica broke up with you.."
"Hush okay, we'll find out the truth for you soon"
"You rest first okay? We want to get you back on your health and resume our schedules together"
"Forget about Jessica, im still here for you" comforted Tiffany as she help Taeyeon back on her bed to rest.
"Now dont think too much Taeyeon, im here for you" smiled Tiffany as she left the room to Taeyeon to rest.

When she closed the room door, the other girls went up to her and started bombarding her with questions.

"What did you two talked about?" asked Sunny

"What happened between the two unnies?"

"Yeah, what happened?"
"Did she tell you?" asked Yoonyul

"STOP!"
"Basically, Jessica&Taeyeon broke up"
"It was initiated by Jessica"
"I dont know why, but this time round"
"Im really unhappy with her decision"
"Why did she broke up with Taeyeon"
"Its not even neccessary to do that" said Tiffany as she gave the other girls an annoyed look.

#Awkward silence..

Jessica's side

"Dr.Choi, how's unnie?" asked Krystal worriedly

"I dont know about that Krystal"
"I suggest we bring her into the hospital now"
"She's really not in a good condition" said Dr.Choi as he started equipping Jessica with all the equipments around her.
"Her breathing is weak, and her fever is just making things worse"

"But.."
"Unnie.."

"But?.."

"Nevermind, lets go then Dr.Choi"
"I'll drive, and you'll carry unnie to my car"
"Can?"

"Okay, can"

While on their way back to the hospital, Jessica's been calling out to Taeyeon ever since she was found.
Apologising nonstop, it hurt Krystal so much to see her sister in that state.
All she wished for was Jessica back to her healthy self and not like this.

"Krystal, did you actually know what went wrong with Jessica&Taeyeon?"
"She's been calling out for Taeyeon"
"And did you contact Taeyeon?"
"I think she needs Taeyeon very much now" said Dr.Choi with concern

"I cant, unnie doesnt want to let Taeyeon unnie see her suffer"
"And unnie said she's not confident to be able to pull through all treatments and recover"
"She dont want Taeyeon unnie to know"
"She eventually broke up with her last night"
"She thought that instead of letting Taeyeon unnie grieving over her death, its better for her to be sad and hate her for breaking up with her" said Krystal sadly

"Oh.."
"I see.." said Dr.Choi quietly

Dr.Choi's POV

God, how much more do you want to let this poor girl go through?
She's been going through so much that you wont want to look at it.
As her doctor-in-charge, it pained me much to see my patient suffered so much.
She wasnt even more to suffer, everyone is born to enjoy life not suffer from it.
Arent you being too much do let such a poor girl suffer so much?

End of Dr.Choi's POV

"Here, we're here Dr.Choi" announced Krystal

"Okay, i'll get Jessica checked in first while you go get your car parked"
"Right?"

"Yeah right"
"Will be there ASAP" Krystal said as she drove off

Half an hour later, Dr.Choi&Krystal had finished checking into the hospital and left Krystal by Jessica's side.

"Unnie.." Krystal started as she held her hands
"It pained me so much to see you hurt like that.. you know?.."
"Why not just let Taeyeon unnie know the truth.."
"Then you wont be hurting so much.." whispered Krystal

Then, Jessica's hands started moving, her eyes opened.
She took off her oxygen mask and slowly sat up.

"Krystal.." Jessica started weakly
"I left her so that she wont hurt much than if she knew about my illness"
"Unnie's sorry for letting you see me in such state.." said Jessica weakly as her eyes started to turn watery after last night's thoughts came back to her

"Unnie, dont cry"
"Im here for you" Krystal comforted as she sat on the bed and hugged Jessica.

"Krystal, just let me cry for now"
"It will be my last time crying.." sobbed Jessica
"I promise.."

"Araesso araesso"
"Go ahead and cry your fill unnie" Krystal said as she patted her back.

Its been a long time since Krystal saw Jessica cried like that.
The only time she cried like that was when mum&dad passed away.
Krystal knew that Jessica's heart, broke really badly.
But it wasnt really considered a broken heart since hers wasnt even a whole to start with ever since their parents died.
As these thoughts flowed through Krystal's mind, Jessica started to slowly stop crying, wiping her tears away.
In the end, she showed a weak smile to Krystal.

"Okay, unnie's fine now"
"Thanks Krystal"
"Krystal, can you please pass me my phone?" asked Jessica

"Okay, here" Krystal said as she passed the phone over to Jessica

But i dont blame her, im sending this text to tell you im leaving.

Damn, this is the first time i've seen Jessica turned so harsh.
So cruel, this is so unlike her.

"Krystal, if Tiffany were to call you or anything"
"Dont ever tell her anything about me okay?"
"Just say you dont know anything and have not seen me" instructed Jessica

"Oh okay unnie"
"Anything for you as long as you go for the treatments" replied Krystal

"Thats my Krystal" smiled Jessica

Weeks passed slowly, especially slow for Jessica as she go through the chemotheraphy that hurt so much.
And making her body weaker day by day while her asthma is contributing to it, happening almost everyday.
Everything in her or outside her makes Jessica felt like she wanted to die.
For Taeyeon, she passed her days by working hard and not thinking of anything else while Tiffany stood by her side all the time,
to take care of her, showed her plenty of care and concern.
Tiffany felt like she should take care of Taeyeon after Taeyeon got hurt by Jessica so deeply.
But neither did she know that she started to develop feelings for her.
The feelings felt magical, its as though Tiffamy needed her, cant live a day without Taeyeon.
While Taeyeon, started getting reliant on Tiffany, relying on Tiffany all the time but to be honest,
Tiffany love Taeyeon's reliance on her. She loved getting relied on by Taeyeon.
One day, Tiffany said to Taeyeon.

"Taeyeon, i know you're heart is still wounded by Jessica"
"I know you might not want to accept anything yet"
"But i just want to let you know, i love you"
"I'll be here waiting for you till the day you are willing to accept me"
"Okay?"

"Oh? Tiffany, thanks for liking&loving me"
"But im not ready for this yet, can you let me consider?

"Of course, i just wanna let you know that im not Jessica"
"I wont leave you all of the sudden, but instead"
"I'll love you with all i have, to bring you happiness" said Tiffany

Taeyeon just returned Tiffany a smile and walked off.

Taeyeon's POV

Should i accept Tiffany?
She's been really sweet to me but i still cant seem to forget Sica.
I know she hurt me, but i really loved her.
Or should i date Tiffany to help me forget about Sica?

After pondering over this matter for days, Taeyeon finally came to a decision.
The decision is to reject Tiffany.
Taeyeon didnt wanna hurt Tiffany by using Tiffany to forget Jessica.
Its just plain ridiculous that Taeyeon even actually had such thought,
She cant simply hurt someone who loved her like Jessica did.
She didnt want to take after Jessica's footsteps.
To hurt one like it was as easy as ABC.
Taeyeon cant bring herself to do it.
So she decided to just reject Tiffany nicely.

"Tiffany, im sorry"
"After considering, i dont think i can accept any love now.." said Taeyeon softly

"Its okay, Taeyeon"
"I understand, but please remember my door will always be open for you"
"Anytime"

"Okay, thanks for trusting me Tiff" smiled Taeyeon

"And, Taeyeon"
"We'll still remain like best friends right?"
"Even after my confession?" asked Tiffany, slight worried

"Of course, who wouldnt wanna be your best friend?" cooed Taeyeon
"Now lets go get ready for our concert!"

"Okay lets go!" said Tiffany as she put her arms over danshin Taeyeon.

During the concert, the 8 SNSD members put up their greatest show, bringing out the best among them.
Taeyeon was trying to get closer to their beloved SONES at that time but was accidentally being pulled down by the fans.
And she fell off the stage with a loud thud.
Staffs from behind the scene started running in to carry Taeyeon up, but luckily,
the fans around Taeyeon carried her up and passed to one of the staff who's heading towards them.
Tiffany, who saw what happened became really worried for Taeyeon, wondering if she's been hurt.
But Tiffany cant stop the concert halfway to find Taeyeon so she had to finish the concert before going back to the backstage.
However, over at the backstage, Taeyeon was groaning in pain with tears falling out of her beautiful eyes.
It seems like she broke her ankle, since she cant move her leg.

"We have to bring you in Taeyeon"
"Think you broke or had your ankle fractured" said Kyuhyun as he started piggybacking Taeyeon to the underground carpark.

Taeyeon couldnt say a single thing because of the pain in her leg but just nodded and went with Kyuhyun.
In the hospital, the doctor made a cast over Taeyeon's left ankle and told Kyuhyun that Taeyeon needs to stay in the hospital for another 2 days for observation and a little more test to show that her body is fine.
So, Taeyeon was left in the hospital alone after that since the other members were still at the concert.
After the concert ended, Tiffany was the first to rush into the hospital to visit Taeyeon but was relieved to see that Taeyeon was fine.
Just that Taeyeon's ankle got casted.
On Jessica's side, she just returned from her chemotheraphy and laid down on her bed since she was exhausted by it.
But while resting, she overheard the nurses' conversation.

"Hey you heard about it?"
"Korea's hottest Kpop group, SNSD's Taeyeon's hospitalized" said Nurse A

"Really?!"
"Is she hurt badly?" asked Nurse B

"I've got no idea, i heard that she fell off the stage during the concert just now"
"Fell off the stage, you know, with a loud thud"
"And when she arrrived in hospital, she was in pain"
"Like really pain" said Nurse A

Upon hearing this, worried for Taeyeon, Jessica immediately got off the bed and walked towards the counter to ask for Taeyeon's ward number.
After getting Taeyeon's ward number, Jessica secretly went up to Taeyeon's private ward.
Jessica was actually not allowed to move around, given her condition is weak and just walking around would make her start gasping for air.
To both her relief and horror, she stood outside Taeyeon's ward and saw Taeyeon&Tiffany, laughing happily in it.
And to add on, Tiffany was feeding Taeyeon food, like a couple.
Jessica felt relieved because she found out that Taeyeon wasnt hurt badly, just her ankle and it will recover in 1-2 months time.
Which wasnt a very serious problem, but what hurt her was the intimate moment Taeyeon&Tiffany had.
That intimate moment used to belong to her, not Tiffany not anyone.
But to think bad, what else could she ask for?
At least Taeyeon's in safe hands of Tiffany while she herself, dont even have the power to take her life in charge.
Her life's alway incharge by doctors, medicines, needles&treatments.
Just Jessica was about to leave after making sure Taeyeon is alright, she saw Krystal looking at her, with a disapproving look.

"Unnie, did you know i was looking around for you as soon as i came here after leaving the office?!" scolded Krystal
"Didnt you forget what Dr.Kang&Choi said?"
"Plenty of bedrest&no moving about!"

"I know i know.."
"Shh..." Jessica motioned to Krystal

But Krystal didnt know what was going on.
On the other side of the room,

"Tiffany, did you hear what im hearing?"
"It sounds like Krystal"

"I think so too"
"I havent been able to contact her"

"Go take a look, see if its Krystal"

"Okay" replied Tiffany as she walked out of the room.

As soon as she stepped out of the room, Tiffany&Krystal's eyes met each other.
Krystal stood there shocked while Tiffany stared at her.
Knowing what happened, Jessica started moving away from them, leaving Krystal to Tiffany.
Since Jessica's back was facing Tiffany and Tiffany's attention focused on Krystal,
Jessica's running away wouldnt get caught by Tiffany.
So Jessica walked off, but halfway through started gasping for air again.
She couldnt fall now, if not everything will be over.
Jessica then stood up with all her might and went to Dr.Choi's office which was the closest to Taeyeon's ward.

"Dr.Choi.."
"Help.." Jessica called in between gasps.

As soon as Dr.Choi saw her, he quickly grab Jessica up, put her onto the bed&gave her an oxygen mask to help her breathe.

"Told you not to move around, look at you now" scolded Dr.Choi

Jessica just gave Dr.Choi a weak guilty smile as Dr.Choi scolded her.

Krystal's side

"Erm, hi?" said Tiffany

"Hi Tiff unnie"
"Its been a long time right" said Krystal awkwardly

"Yeah, so long"
"What are you doing here?" asked Tiffany

"Oh, er.."
"Just visiting" replied Krystal as she averted Tiffany's gaze

"Just visiting?"
"I thought i overheard you scolding someone.."
"Hmm.."

"Oh, i wasnt"
"You must be hearing things" smiled Krystal
"So why are you here?"

"Oh, Taeyeon broke her ankle just now"
"After she fell off the stage at the concert" giggled Tiffany

"Ahh.. Thats why unnie came up here" whispered Krystal

"What did you say?"

"Ah, nothing, just talking to myself"

"Oh.."
"Krystal.."

"Yup?"

"Have you got any news of Jessica?.."
"It felt as though she disappeared in thin air.." said Tiffany sadly

"Ahh, unnie"
"She's doing well in the states"

"States? I thought she told me she's going to UK instead?"

"Dang, lies are hard" grumbled Krystal

"Oh, she's currently on holiday in states, she'll be going back UK soon" replied Krystal as she tried to cover up the lies
"Hey Tiff unnie, gotta go"
"See ya soon"

With that, Krystal walked off back to Jessica's ward but cant find Jessica in the ward again.

Krystal's POV

Seriously, where on earth did unnie go?!
She's so weak yet she's running around the hospital like her playground!

Just as she was grumbling, Dr.Choi was seen pushing Jessica back on a wheelchair with an oxygen mask.
Krystal gave Jessica an annoyed face while Jessica threw Krystal an awkward smile.

"Unnie, if you're going to run away like today again"
"I swear im not going to let you off!" scolded Krystal as she crossed her arms

"Araesso araesso" replied Jessica weakly as she got off the wheelchair and back onto her bed.
"I was just checking.. you know.." whispered Jessica

"You could have asked me to!" protested Krystal

"But you're not even here yet"

"Cant you just wait a few minutes more?"

"Sorry, Krystal" said Jessica sadly as her eyes turned teary.

"Aish.."
"Nevermind, i was just worried" Krystal said and sighed.

Tiffany's side

"So how?"
"Is it Krystal who was outside?" asked Taeyeon

"Yeah, it was Krystal"
"It seems like she's visiting someone"

"Oh really?"
"Who is it?"

"She said just someone, like she's kinda unwilling to tell me" said Tiffany as she scratched her head

"Oh.."
"By any chance.. did she talk about Jessica?.." asked Taeyeon slowly

"She didnt, but i asked"
"She said Jessica's doing well"
"But i sense that somehow, she's been keeping something from me"
"She had been averting my gaze ever since i asked her what was she doing here" explained Tiffany

"Oh.. really?"
"Probably Jessica has a new girlfriend and had forgotten about me.." whispered Taeyeon

"Dont think so much Taeyeon"
"Just rest first" smiled Tiffany

"Okay"

Jessica's side

"By the way, unnie"
"Are you actually okay?"
"You know.."

"Yeah, im fine i think"
"Taetae has got Tiffany now"
"They are very close and shares intimate moments together" said Jessica as she felt that her words were filled with jealousy

"I sense jealousy~" teased Krystal

"YAH!" shouted Jessica

"Stop shouting, its gonna start your asthma attack" said Krystal

"Then dont make me" pouted Jessica
"Im the patient here~"

"Whatever"
"Anyway, they are together now? Tiff&Taeyeon unnie?" asked Krystal

"I guess so, i think its a better way out for Taeyeon"
"I mean look at me, im like not getting anyway better but worse as day passes by"
"Maybe leaving her was a better choice, then letting her seeing me suffer" said Jessica sadly

"I guess so unnie"
"Forget about all these unnie, rest well!" smiled Krystal

"Araesso" replied Jessica as she fell into deep slumber.

Taeyeon's POV

Krystal's not even willing to tell us about Jessica much..
Hmm..
Since im at the hospital now, should i go and look for Dr.Choi?
Maybe he'll tell me about Jessica's whereabouts
And maybe if he tell me, i'll go and look for her to clear things out
Yes, thats the plan.
