I've been on this damn car for 45 minutes.
Im getting really impatient.
I've even completed my report for the meeting later.
I wonder how far is the Kim's Enterprise that i have to travel so long!

Hmm..
i wonder if its the medication thats doing the mischief or that im feeling really unwell right now.
My head's twirling around..
I hope today's meeting & dinner will end early..

"Yuri-ah, how long do we actually need to take to travel there?"
"Its already 45 minutes" questioned Jessica

"um. Ms Jung, we need to take like at least an hour to reach there"
"Plus since its almost after work hours, there's sorta jam right now"
"So its gonna take a little longer than usual"

Jessica listened while rubbing her temples.

"Ms. Jung, are you okay? You looked kinda pale" asked Yuri

"Yeah. Im fine"
"Just wake me up when we're reaching"

Ms. Jung seems to be weaker&weaker as compared to the first day i saw her.
What is wrong with her health..
Yeah i know she's got asthma..
But is it very serious?
I hope its not.

"Taeyeon~Taeyeon~" shouted Mr.Ki

"Whats up halraeborji!" shouted Taeyeon

"Are you done? We should leave soon. Its a big project collaboration with the Jung's holdings"
"We cannot afford to be late!" exclaimed Mr. Kim

"Alright alright, im coming halraeborji!"

Then, footsteps were heard rushing down the stairs.

"Woah, my beautiful princess!"
"You look wonderful today" smiled Mr.Kim

"Thanks halraeborji. You know, i cant possibly throw the CEO of Kim's Enterprise's face right" giggled Taeyeon

WIth that, they headed towards the car and towards the head office of Kim's Enterprise.

40 minutes later

"Ms Jung.. Ms Jung.." Yuri called and pushed her slightly.

Jessica started to stir and eventually woke up.

"Have we arrived at the Kim's Enterprise Yuri?"

"Neh, Ms Jung"
"Its time to go for the meeting"

"Alright. Lets go then"

In the meeting room

"Well hello there Ms Jung. Welcome to Kim's Enterprise ! I hope that we will have a great partnership ahead" smiled Mr.Kim

"Hello there Mr Kim. Just call me Jessica. I just took over my father's business not long ago after he passed away" smiled Jessica

"Oh im so sorry about your father's death Jessica. And oh, here, meet my granddaughter - Kim Taeyeon"
"She will be the one working with you in future as i will be passing my position to her on Monday" introduced Mr.Kim

"Anyeonghaseyo, Kim Taeyeon imida" greeted Taeyeon

"Anyeonghaseyo, Jessica Jung imida" greeted Jessica

Taeyeon's POV

Woah..
She looks really really pretty!
Such delicate features..
But she looks kinda pale..
Or maybe thats just her complexion colour?
Hehe.
I hope to get to know her more like as a friend..
She seems so interesting to me.
She looked so cold, just like an ice-princess.
Her coldness made me wanna know more about her.
Hmm..

"Alright now everybody, its time we get this meeting started!" said Mr.Kim

Next, everybody started settling down in their own seats, preparing to start the meeting.

30 minutes later

"Alright, now, i guess thats all for now"
"Meetings dismissed" announced Mr.Kim

*Yes! Finally! Ahh~* Taeyeon cheered softly, not wanting anybody to know that she hates this kind of boring meetings.
Neither did she realised that Jessica actually saw her saying that.

But Jessica merely chuckled at her cuteness and followed them out for the dinner with Mr.Kim&Taeyeon.

At a sushi restaurant

"So.. Jessica, how are you coping with the company? Doing well?" asked Mr.Kim

"Yup, i guess so. Thanks for your concern, Mr Kim" replied Jessica politely.

"Hey.. Jessica. Im Taeyeon.. If you remember." Taeyeon said giggling shyly
"It looks pretty awkward now.. So i hope you dont mind me asking you some questions to aid this awkward atmosphere" smile Taeyeon

"Of course I remember you. Yup sure, go ahead. I dont mind at all" replied Jessica
While in the inside, Jessica's chuckling at Taeyeon's dorkiness.

"Well.. It sounds like a super straightforward question.. Can i have your number?"
"I wanna make friends with you, can I?" Taeyeon asked shyly

"Erm.. Okay?"

*Passes her a namecard of Jessica's with her phone number on it*

"Thanks a lot Jessica!"
"But Jessica, why arent you eating? You seem to be eating so little?"
"You know, you dont have to be shy, just eat all you want!"
"MUHAHAHAHHAA" laughed Taeyeon

"Oh, its alright"
"Im just not feeling very well"
"Thanks for the offer though" Jessica said while returning her a smile

Jessica's POV

There's so many dishes with cucumbers!
How do you expect me to eat..
Oh well. Its fine since they dont know about my allergy towards cucumber.

After the dinner

"Halraeborji, can you go home on your own first? I wanna spend more time with Jessica!"
"I really wanna befriend her! Pretty please?" pouted Taeyeon

"Alright, Taeyeon. Becareful alright, do call the driver to pick you up after this!" replied Mr.Kim and walked off .

Then, Taeyeon turned to Jessica.

"Hey Jessica, can we hang out together as friends?"
"I was homeschooled since young and had not gotten any friends at all"
"Do you mind being my first?" Taeyeon asked with a grin on her face

"umm.. Alright.."
"Give me a few minute while i talk to my secretary Yuri" agreed Jessica

"Yuri, you may go home & rest first. Dont bother waiting for me"

"Neh Ms.Jung. How about you? You just came back from the hospital earlier on. Are you sure you're fine?" whispered Yuri, not wanting Taeyeon to hear it.

"Yeah I think im fine. Just head home & rest"

"Okay then. Goodnights Ms Jung"

Other the other hand, Taeyeon also dismissed Yoona, allowing her to go back home & rest.

"Well, its left with the two of us, Taeyeon"
"Where do you wanna go now?"

"Hmm.. Lets go and have ice cream!!"
"I love ice creammmmmm~!"
"Kaja!!"

Taeyeon hooked her arms with Jessica's and strolled towards a nearby ice cream shop.
Jessica was initially shocked by what Taeyeon did!
But just went with it 'cause she's just too tired to say anything else.
After they bought their ice cream&waffle, they sat down and Taeyeon started bombarding Jessica with questions.

"Sica, i can call you that right? Sica~ Sica~"

"um. I guess so?" Jessica replied while eating her waffle

"Sica, why do you look so cold? Like an ice princess!"
"And why arent you eating ice cream~~"

"Hmm? Ermmm.. Its just that.. I miss my parents.."
"Its just so hard living alone like this.." Jessica uttered to herself
"And, i dont eat ice cream 'cause i cant really eat ice cream"

"Oh.. Dont be sad Sica! You've got me!! Hehe"
"Why cant you eat ice cream! Its really deliciooouusss~"
"Come on, eat it eat it!" Taeyeon pouted.

Jessica's POV

Oh my..
Look at that pout.
Anyone will definitely melt at the sight of her pout..
Oh well..
Since im her first friend,
its kinda bad if i reject her right?
She might feel that im not really interested in making friends with her..

"Okayokay. I'll eat it with you"
"Stop pouting!"

Upon hearing that, smiles was all over Taeyeon's face!
Then, they shared ice cream together,
had a little chit-chatting with each other,
getting to know each other a bit more.

As minutes passed by,
Jessica slowly started to open up to Taeyeon.
She felt that Taeyeon's smile&laughters to be so comforting,
felt so safe with Taeyeon.

Suddenly, Jessica received a message.

Unnie~ Are you coming home already?
Come home now okay? You need to rest already..
Dont forget that you just returned from Dr.Choi and have not taken any rest at home yet!

Araeso araeso. Unnie's coming back right now.
Why arent you sleeping & resting yet?!
You're gonna get it from me when I get home!

"Erm Taeyeon.."
"I have to go already.."
"My younger sister's rushing me to go back already"
"Sorry, let me send you home alright?"

Taeyeon pouted.
"Okays then. I hope to hang out with you soon"
"Lets go"

30 minutes later

They arrived at Taeyeon's mansion.
Although Taeyeon didnt feel like parting with her,
but she's got no choice but to go since Jessica's younger sister is looking for her.

"Bye Sica! Thanks for the night!"

Then, Jessica got on her car and the driver drove off, sending Jessica home.
As soon as Jessica reached home, Krystal was running towards Jessica and gave her a bear hug.

"Aww.. Krystal, thanks for your BEAR HUG. But, why arent you asleep yet?"
"Arent you tired after the chemotheraphy?"

"Unnie.. Nope not as tired as you I guess" Krystal smiled
"Unnie, can you sleep with me tonight?"
"Its been a long time since we slept together!"

"Hmm.. alright then"
"Anything for my baby Krystal"
"Give me a minute okay, while i grab some stuff"

"No work-related stuff okay unnnie!"

"Araeso araeso. " Jessica said while ruffling Krystals hair

Gotta refill my inhaler first before i forget

"Unnie~~ Did your asthma take a turn for the worse because you have been overworking yourself?"

"Ani.. Krystal, dont worry. Unnie's fine okay"
"But its you Krystal, take good care of yourself!"

"Unnie! I dont need to take care of myself!"
"Because there's always unnie you to take care of me!" giggled Krystal

"You're forever so playful, Krystal!"
Jessica started tickling Krystal and stopped when Jessica started clutching her chest, gasping for air.

"Unnie~unnie~? Are you okay? Unnie dont scare me!"
"Unnie! Where's your inhaler?!?"
Krystal searched around her body for her inhaler but to no avail.

Suddenly, Jessica fell limp in Krystal's arms.
