"So have you given a serious thought about it?"

"I dont think im ready"
"Im afraid that your halraeborji will deny our relationship"
"If its serious, he might even separate you from me.."

"You dont have to be ready Sica"
"And, look on the positive side"

"If denying is really the case, we'll just work hard together to get recognised"

"Great! I'll be having a dinner with halraeborji tonight"

"You can try getting one for him!"

"Yuri-ah, can you help me buy the oldest&best red wine you can find?"
"Taeyeon's halraeborji loves red wine"
"Im gonna meet him later, Taeyeon suggested me to get him a red wine as a gift"
"And remember, price's not a problem for me"

"Neh Ms.Jung"

Yuri left the room and went looking for a wine professional to get a suitable red wine for Jessica.
A few hours later, Yuri came into Jessica's office and saw Jessica lying on her desk.
She seems to be so tired that she actually fell asleep on the desk.
So, Yuri left a note on Jessica's table.

At around 4.30pm, Jessica started waking up.
Shocked to see, its already 4.30pm.
And she's meeting Taeyeon at 6.30pm.
Whats more, she havent even completed looking through the documents on her desk,
havent even gotten the red wine thats gonna be use tonight.
Then, a yellow post-it note caught her attention.

"Ms.Jung, i've ordered the red wine after consulting the wine professional"
"To my surprise the wine professional knew Mr.Kim and recommended me the wine Mr.Kim will most probably like"
"So i had it ordered for you"
"I'll be collecting it at 4pm and be back by 6pm"
"Your secretary, Yuri"

Jessica's POV

Phew.
At least something's done for me and i dont have to worry about it.
Now back to these documents..

Hell, how am i supposed to finish these in 2 hours time..
Oh well, gotta try.
Never try never know.

With that, Jessica continued working on her work until her phone vibrated.
Its a text message.

Sica! Im on my way to your office!
Be there in 10 minutes time!
Prepare!

Oh. its already 6.15pm.
I didnt realised. Okay then, im packing up already.
See you at the lobby!
To : Taetae

Jessica packed her stuff & documents,
preparing to bring it home and complete it after the dinner since she took up most of her that should be doing it but slept it away.
Within minutes she finished packing and was about to leave when she suddenly fell onto the floor feeling dizzy.
But she just stood up and walked off, thinking it was just because she stood up to suddenly.

At the dinner

"Well hello Ms.Jung!"
"Why are you here with Taeyeon?" smiled Mr.Kim

"Well.." Jessica started but stopped and nudged Taeyeon who's just beside her.
"Didnt you tell him about me coming, and the thing we're gonna discuss?" whispered Jessica

"Shh.. Nope i didnt"
"I wanted us to tell him together" whispered Taeyeon

"Halraeborji.. Actually, there's something we wanna tell you, and hopes to get permission fro you"

"Hmm?.. Nevermind Ms.Jung, since you already here with Taeyeon, we'll have dinner together"
"Taeyeon, lets order some food first and tell me whatever you wanna tell me while we're eating"

"But.."

"No buts Taeyeon"
"Your halraeborji is hungry, cant you just let him eat first?"

Jessica tugged Taeyeon's arms to stop her from continuing in, afraid that it might upset her halraeborji.
As they sat down, Jessica handed over the red wine she just bought today to Mr.Kim, hoping that he'll like it.

"Here Mr.Kim, this is something little for you"

Mr.Kim opened the box and took out the red wine.

"Wow. Its one of the red wine i've been looking for!"
"How did you get it?"
"Thank you so much!"

"Aniyo. It was nothing"
"Im glad that you liked it"

While they were chatting together, the dishes were served.

Jessica's POV

OMO!
Why is it that there's cucumber in every dish?!
Oh my, how the hell am i going to eat?

Jessica's nudged Taeyeon while eyeing at the cucumbers.
Taeyeon then remembered that Jessica's allergic to cucumbers.

"Ops, sorry Sica, halraeborji loves cucumbers and he heard that cucumbers are good for health"
"Dont worry, i'll get it changed" whispered Taeyeon

"Hey no, dont Taeyeon"
"Since halraeborji likes it then let him enjoy his dinner"
"I'll just dine outside later" whispered Jessica while throwing her an its-okay smile

Just then, Mr Kim asked

"Ms. Jung, why arent you eating?"
"Is there something here that doesnt fit your likings?"

"Aniyo Mr.Kim"
"Its just that im not feeling well, have got no appetite"
"But dont let that mind you, enjoy your dinner" replied Jessica politely

"Ahh.."
"Oh that makes me remember something"
"Taeyeon, there's something you would like to tell me right?"

"Ah neh halraeborji"
"Well.. its like this.."
"But promise me you wont be mad at me and just listen to me first okay?"

"Okay.." Mr Kim replied while wriggling his eyebrows wondering what is Taeyeon up to

"Here goes, halraeborji, actually.."
Taeyeon took a deep breath and,
"Jessica and I are together, in a relationship!" Taeyeon announced in 1 breath

"What?!"

"We are together halraeborji"
"We hope that you will accept us for who we are"

"WHAT?! THATS WHY SHE BOUGHT ME A RED WINE THAT I'VE ALWAYS WANTED?!"
"IS SHE TRYING TO BRIBE ME OR SOMETHING TO BE WITH YOU?!"
SHE DOESNT EVEN WANNA EAT THE DINNER WITH ME, WHY SHOULD I ACCEPT HER?!"

Taeyeon was shocked at Mr.Kim's sudden outburst.
He had never ever shouted like this before, or maybe not infront of Taeyeon.

"Erm.. halraeborji.."

"WHO ARE YOU TO CALL ME HALRAEBORJI?!"
"DID I EVEN ALLOW YOU TO CALL ME THAT?!"

"Okay Mr Kim, let me explain okay?"
"I really really really love Taeyeon"
"I love her more than anything else"
"Im willing to do anything for her"
"And its not that im not eating your dinner. I have my reasons"
"But if you insist me on eating with you, i'll eat."
"Just.. just let me be with Taeyeon."
"You can dont accept me now yet, but you can observe us, then tell me whether im suitable for Taeyeon not"
"But i just hope that you can accept me, i really, truly love Taeyeon. ALOT"

"I DONT BELIEVE THAT YOU LOVE HER"

"Hmm.."
"But if you REALLY wanna show me that you love her"
"Prove it to me, i'll give you a chance to prove it to me"
"Only then, i'll CONSIDER YOU. CONSIDER. NOT ACCEPTING YET!"

"Really?!"

"Halraeborji.. "
Taeyeon whined while giving Mr Kim an eye signal,
trying to persuade Mr Kim to not make life hard for Jessica.

"SHUT UP TAEYEON. YOU'VE ALREADY MADE MY BLOOD BOIL SO MUCH"
"DONT THINK IM DONE WITH YOU!"
"UNLESS JESSICA CAN PROVE THAT SHE CAN DO MUCH BETTER THAN ANYONE IN PROTECTING, CARING & SUPPORTING YOU IN ANY SITUATION, THEN I'LL CONSIDER HER!"

Taeyeon was scared after witnessing how mad her grandfather was and dare not make any more comments.

"AND NOW YOU, IF YOU WANT TO PROVE ME WRONG, SHOW ME THAT YOU HAVE AT LEAST A LITTLE RESPECT FOR ME"
"EAT THIS UP!"
Mr Kim said while pointing to the cucumber side dish thats filled with chilli .

"Halraeborji.." Taeyeon cried
"She really love me, why must you make life hard for her? Remember the kidnapping case?"
"She took the bullet for, shielded me from the slashes the whatever butler Ji tried on me"
"Its still insufficient to show her love for me?"

"SHUT UP TAEYEON. ITS UP TO ME TO DECIDE WHETHER SHE LOVES YOU OR NOT"
"NOT YOU!!!"
Mr Kim scolded Taeyeon and was about to land a slap on her face when Jessica stood up and stop Mr.Kim

"If thats the first test you wanna put me in, Mr.Kim"
"I'll gladly go for it. Please.. Just please dont hurt Taeyeon"

After stopping Mr.Kim from hurting Taeyeon, Jessica picked up the side dish, took a deep breath.

Taeyeon's POV

I looked up at Sica with teary eyes,
trying to stop her from eating it.
I dont want to see her in pain or anything else after what we went through
Sica..
*sobs*

Why dont halraeborji understand us?
WHY?!
*sobs*

"Kwenchanwa Taetae" smiled Jessica

Jessica's POV

For the sake of Taetae,
I'll eat it. How can i not eat it?
Mr.Kim's looking at me so angrily,
maybe after I eat it he'll at least, simmer down by abit?

Afterall, i think nothing much will happen to me.
Just maybe a small asthma attack?

"WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!"
"WHY ARENT YOU EATING IT?! WAITING FOR THE CUCUMBERS&CHILLI TO ROT SO YOU WONT HAVE TO EAT IT?!"

"Aniyo. Mr.Kim"
"I'll eat it, dont worry"
"If this is one of the way to prove you my love for Taeyeon, i'll gladly do it"

With that, Jessica started gobbling down the side dish.
As she was eating the dish, her face turned really red,
tears started falling from her eyes and cold sweat started forming on her forehead.
Minutes of struggling, Jessica finally finished the side dish and sat down, trying to contain her pain.
After witnessing all these, Mr.Kim left the restaurant feeling super frustrated and mad.
Right after Mr.Kim left, Jessica's asthma attack started AGAIN.

"Sica!! Kwenchanwa?!"
Taeyeon was panicking.
This is the first time she's with Jessica alone during her attack!

"Taetae.. My... Inhaler..." gasped Jessica

"Where?!?!? WHERE?!?!"

"...bag..."

Taeyeon scrambled the stuff inside Jessica's bag and finally found her inhaler.
She gave Jessica's inhaler but it doesnt seem to work on her anymore.

"Sica!! WHY?! I gave you the inhaler, why isnt it working?!!?"
"SICA-AH!!!!" Taeyeon shouted but Jessica just fell limp in her arms.

"Anyone out there?!"
"ANYONE?!"

The waitresses started rushing into the private dinning room and helped Taeyeon lift Jessica up.
Jessica's facial expression totally showed how painful she was.
Soon enough, they were at the hospital and Dr.Choi was looking at her.
While Dr.Choi was checking Jessica up, a flustered Krystal ran into the room.

"DR.CHOI! I THOUGHT UNNIE'S DOING WELL AFTER EVERYTHING?!"
"I THOUGHT SHE'S BACK TO HER HEALTHY SELF, WHY IS SHE HERE AGAIN?!"

"Krystal, calm down. This is a hospital"
"Yes i did say your sister's health turned for the better"
"But it seems that its her allergy that caused her attack"
"And Taeyeon-sshi, can you tell me clearly what actually happened?"

So, Taeyeon told the whole incident to Dr.Choi & Krystal while tears flow down her cheeks.
Its been hell know how many times this year that Jessica's in the hospital or her "private hospital ward" with an oxygen mask over her.
Taeyeon felt really sorry to have caused Jessica to be in that state.
That night, Taeyeon didnt return home.
Instead, she just stayed at the hospital with Jessica.

While Taeyeon slept on the couch in Jessica's ward,
Jessica sat up and looked at Taeyeon.

Jessica's POV

Aish..
Taetae, why didnt you go back home?
Your halraeborji is gonna be even mad at you when you get home you know..
He might even give me a harder time..
..
But i think im able to get through all his tests 'cause im confident that i can win his trust.
Even if he gives me a hard time..

Jessica then took off her oxygen mask, as usual 'cause she hated it.
She slowly walked over to Taeyeon with the support of the IV stand and slight hit her on the head.

"Pabo Taetae.. Wake up.."

"Hmm..?"
"Sica! You're awake!! Why did you get off the bed and took off you oxygen mask?!"
Taeyeon questioned her with a disapproving look

"Im fine Taetae, go home now"
"If you dont, your halraeborji might think that im taking you away from him"
"And he might make life even harder for us"
"Listen to me okay?"

"But Sica, i wanna stay here and look after you!"
"Halraeborji is just too much!"

"Taetae, your halraeborji loves you a lot"
"Thats why he did these"
"He just wanted the best for you"
"Just go back now okay, if not im going to ignore you already"
"Besides, i have Krystal who will take care of me here" smiled Jessica weakly

"..."
"..Okay.. I'll go back now"
"Dont ignore me please" Taeyeon pouted

"Okay if you go back now, I wont"
"Besides its very late now, do call your driver to come pick you up okay"

"Okay Sica, i love you"
"Bye"

"Bye Taetae, i love you too"

After Taeyeon left, Jessica went to wake Krystal up who fell asleep sitting on the chairs that we on the other side of her bed.

"Krystal.. Krystal.."

"Hmm.. Unnie?"
"Why are you out of the bed already?!"

"Unnie's fine. Krystal, can you help me get Dr.Choi?"
"I wanna go home, you know i hate hospitals"

"uh.. i dont know about that unnie.."

"Please Krystal?" pouted Jessica
"If you're not going, im going on my own!"

"FINE FINE. Unnie's always threatening meeeeee~"
"Just get back in bed with your bloody oxygen mask on before Dr.Choi comes in if not he's gonna get you for it"

"Araeso araeso"

While Krystal went out to get Dr.Choi, Jessica got back the bed slowly and put back her oxygen mask like nothing happened.
Then, Dr.Choi came in.

"Jessica, feeling better?"
"I heard that you wanna go home"

"Im always feeling good Dr.Choi"
"Its always you who are making me feel worse after all these" Jessica pouted while pointing to those equipments around her
"And yeah, i wanna go home, i promise you i'll take my medications on time when i get home okay?"

"Hmm..."

"Please?.."

"..."

"Pretty please?.." Jessica pleaded while rubbing her palms together, pouting

"If you insist.. Then i guess i'll let you home"
"But im going to leave the IV on"
"Dont you dare remove it! I'll teach Krystal to change it for you later while i go and discharge you"

After hearing that Dr.Choi's gonna leave the IV on, she gave a disgusted look.
But at least, she gets to return home.
But actually, she wanted to get home so quickly, there's a reason for it.
An hour later, Krystal came in with Dr.Choi and brought Jessica back home to rest.

Kim's mansion

Mr.Kim's POV

Serve that Jessica Jung right.
She deserved that.
Who is she to want my Taeyeon?!
She's just a female, how much can she do for Taeyeon?!
Jessica Jung, just watch out.
Today's just the beginning.

When Mr.Kim was entering his room, preparing to rest,
he heard a loud bang and guessed that Taeyeon's probably back.
Just that she's mad at him.
But Mr.Kim just let her be, 'cause Mr.Kim thought that Taeyeon couldnt understand what Mr.Kim was thinking

Jung's mansion

"Unnie, you know you scared the out of me when i received Dr.Choi's call again?"
Krystal pointed out while trying to hook up Jessica's IV.

"Well, you know, nothing much"
"Just another asthma attack"
"You dont have to worry" laughed Jessica while looking at her sister's worried face

"i cant just stop worrying about you unnie"
"You're like my everything!" said Krystal with an annoyed look
"Now unnie, rest and im going back to my room"
"Just shout for me if you need me, if you cant find any strength to shout, just call my phone"
Krystal told Jessica while putting Jessica's phone on her bedside

"Araeso araeso. Omma Jung" teased Jessica

As soon as Krystal walked out,
Jessica immediately took all the documents that were inside the her bag and started working again.
By the time she finished everything, it was almost sunrise and she can only sleep for an hour or so before preparing for work again.
Ah hour and a half later, Jessica was awaken by Yuri.
Yuri was kneeling beside Jessica's bed, giving Jessica's a slight push on arms to wake her up.

"Ms.Jung, im sorry to wake you up"
"I know that you arent feeling well"
"But there's this sudden board directors meeting thats start in an hours time"
"Since you hold 68% of the shares in Jungs Holdings, you have to be there"

"Why the sudden board directors meeting?..."
"Araeso araeso.. Im getting up.."
When she was walking towards the bathroom, she felt a sudden sharp pain on her arms.

Jessica's POV

Aish!
I actually forgot about this damn thing.

"Yuri-ah, can you do me a favour?"

"Neh Ms.Jung?"

"Go to the drawer over there and get the a piece of alcholic swab and plaster"

"Neh Ms.Jung"

After Yuri came back with alcholic swab and plaster,
i sat down onto the bed.

"Yuri-ah, now follow what i say"
"Open the alcholic swab, place it ontop of the spot where the IV needle is inserted, apply a little, i mean a little pressure and slowly pull it out"

"But Ms.Jung, i've never done this before"
"Im going to hurt you"

"Just ignore the hurting part and get it out for me before Krystal comes"

When Yuri was removing the needle from Jessica's arms,
Jessica winced and looked away from the needle.
Yuri heard and winced and felt that bad 'cause she thought that she made Jessica to hurt.

"Sorry Ms.Jung"
"I really dont know how to, i tried my best to get it out gently already"

"Ani Yuri, its always painful to get it in or out"
"So its not your fault, thanks"
"Just go back to the living room and wait for me while i bathe and get ready okay Yuri?"

"Neh Ms.Jung"

30 minutes later, Jessica & Yuri left the house and headed towards the sudden board directors meeting.

Jessica's POV

I wonder whats with the sudden board directors meeting?..

Aww..
My eyes are swollen after crying last night.
Hmm..
I wonder how Sica's doing now..
Should drop by the hospital to visit her

30 minutes later, when Taeyeon arrives at Jessica ward.
She was shocked to find the ward clean&empty.
So she rushed to the nurses thats doing the paper work and asked where is Jessica.
The nurses then told her that Dr.Choi had her discharged late, last night.

Worried, Taeyeon called Jessica but her phone got directed to the voicemail.
So she texted Jessica.

Sica!! Where the hell are you?!
I came to the hospital and was told you're discharged!
Please return my call!!
Very worried!
To : Sica baby

Jessica's in the middle of the board directors meeting when her phone vibrated.
While listening to the different board directors fighting against each other, trying to push each other off their position,
she took the time and peeped at her text.

I cant return your call right now Taetae.
Im having a board directors meeting now.
To : Taetae

WHAT?! You're back to work already?
To : Sica baby

Yup, i've fully recovered.
Hahas, give me an hour more i'll call you back

Just then, Jessica stood up and scolded,

"Are you guys done quarrelling?!"
"Im feeling unwell but came here for this so called urgent&sudden board directors meeting"
"I thought something big happened, all i got is you guys quarrelling with each other!"
"Im done with you guys!"
"Everyone just submit a report on what you guys wanna say and i'll look through it!"
"it'll be better then listening to each and everyone of you shouting at each other!"
"Meeting dismissed!!"

As the other board directors were leaving, Jessica stood down and massaged her temples.
She's starting to get a headache after listening to the meaningless quarrels.
Instead of being mad over it, she decided to call Taeyeon as promised.
