Ryeowook looked at his phone screen to check, and his eyes widened. 2 missed calls from Hyukjae and Yesung each….and 23 missed calls from Kyuhyun. There are also a lot of message notifications.

Ryeowook’s heart is pounding, maybe from the alcohol or from seeing Kyuhyun’s many missed calls and messages. He hates this feeling; he knows he’s in danger of hoping for something that is impossible. He unlocked his phone and checked the messages.

Before Ryeowook could respond, his phone vibrated again. Kyuhyun is calling.

Ryeowook answered it immediately. “Hello?”

“Ryeonggu! Thank God! Are you okay??” Kyuhyun’s voice sounds so relieved.

“Yes I am. I’m sorry, I checked my phone just now.”

“Where are you? Who are you with? I’ll pick you up.“

“No, no, it’s fine. I’m with Heechul hyung. He’ll drive me back to the dorm.”

“Ya! Did you know how worried I was?!” Kyuhyun said, now sounding angry.
