Kyuhyun smiled at Ryeowook’s message who seemed to be in a good mood today since he’s not usually like that. It excites him to think that he’d see a lot of Ryeowook’s adorable smiles today if that’s the case. Coupled with last night’s events, and then finishing off his last exam - safe to say that Kyuhyun’s mood is very, very good. He hurriedly finished his responsibilities at their org room, posted a couple messages for his council members, then rushed off to the Music building.

Windswept due to his haste, Kyuhyun entered the Music SC org room. His eyes automatically searched for Ryeowook, who met his eyes and smiled so brightly, Kyuhyun thought his heart would explode. Oh yes, he is totally whipped for this man. He smiled back and to his surprise, Ryeowook walked towards him and fixed his hair. The look of shock must have been evident in his face because Ryeowook smirked at him, albeit a bit shyly.

“S-s-so, what’s the agenda today?” Kyuhyun asked while looking down at the floor.

“Not much left since we can’t decorate the stadium until Monday. So, for today we just need to finish packing the giveaways.” Ryeowook answered, still fixing his hair.

“Oh, we just need to add the drink bottles and light sticks in the packs initially prepared right?”

“Yes. And then we’ll have a meeting later as well at 5pm.” Ryeowook answered as he walked back to the table to resume his work on the packs.

Kyuhyun put down his bag on a chair and then went next to Ryeowook to help. “Okay, I’ll leave then so I won’t be a bother.”

“No! Please stay. Then we can eat out before going back to the dorm. You told me the other day about that restaurant you saw online with a lot of good reviews, right?”

Kyuhyun blinked a few times, and then looked at Ryeowook. “Did you do something? Did you break my games or my wines?”

Ryeowook laughed. “What? No!”

“Then why are you being so good today?”

“What? Am I evil to you on a daily basis?” Ryeowook asked, fixing his gaze on the bottles he’s holding.

“Well, no. But…you seem different today?”

Ryeowook just shrugged, but Kyuhyun noticed a blush creeping on his cheeks as well. Before he could ask further, Hyukjae and Donghae entered the room and Ryeowook struck a conversation with them. Kyuhyun thought in silence for a while, wondering. Usually Ryeowook asks him to leave, but today Ryeowook texted him to ask if he’s coming to help, and now even asked him to stay and then eat outside? He’s usually the one who practically begs Ryeowook to eat out with him. Certainly something is different with Ryeowook today.

As the day wore on, Kyuhyun’s mood just got better and better, making him question if all this is real, or if there is a fluke with Ryeowook today. During lunch, Ryeowook volunteered the both of them to buy food for everyone. Not that Kyuhyun was unwilling, but normally he’s the one who volunteers himself to accompany Ryeowook. And then while they were walking outside to buy food, Ryeowook even grabbed his arm to drag him towards one of the stores. It boggles his mind that Ryeowook is not avoiding skinship with him like usual. It’s even as if Ryeowook is initiating it today, on top of not pushing him away.

Kyuhyun decided to test his theory. They’re currently in the middle of putting the packs in boxes and then transferring them to another room and he’s getting a bit tired with all the lifting. He approached Ryeowook who was labelling the boxes.

“I’m tired. Can we rest for a few minutes?” Kyuhyun asked while hooking his arm on Ryeowook’s. He’s waiting for Ryeowook to pull away like usual when he does this. But instead, Ryeowook chuckled and tapped his arm.

“Okay, okay. Let’s sit for a while.” Ryeowook said while leading Kyuhyun to the platform and sat on the floor, pulling Kyuhyun to sit next to him, still not unlinking their arms.

Kyuhyun leaned his head on the wall, his heart beating faster than normal – not because of lifting boxes but because of Ryeowook’s action.

“You’re sweating in the dead of winter?” Ryeowook said and broke his reverie.
