Jisoo’s crying stopped together with the rain.

“We could ask the director to shoot your scene with Taehyung another day if you aren’t okay yet” said Jennie. “You don’t have to force yourself unnie”

Jisoo smiled while holding Jennie’s hands.

“I’m holding your hands now” said Jisoo. “I’m okay now.. for real”

Jennie patted her head.

“Taehyung-ssi opened the door by force” said Jennie. “I hate him but I am thankful to him this time”

“Don’t hate him” said Jisoo. “Hating someone you don’t even know makes you ignorant”

Jennie just sighed.

“I am not talking back because of what happened today unnie” said Jennie.

The scene they were acting was just holding hands while walking and chatting happily.

While holding Taehyung’s hands, Jisoo felt some bruises on his palm.

As soon as the cameras turned off, she grabbed his hand and looked at his palm.

“What are you doing?” asked Taehyung.

He pushed her hand away immediately.

“You got hurt” said Jisoo.

Taehyung didn’t even notice the bruise.

“That’s not your problem..” Taehyung replied coldly.

He was walking away when he heard Jisoo say..

“Thanks for saving me”

Taehyung turned to her again.

“I don’t want to hear that from you” said Taehyung. “I don’t want to hear anything from you”

“But I’m still thankful” said Jisoo. “I will keep on saying thank you when I have to”

“Do whatever you want” said Taehyung. “And I’ll do what I want”

Jisoo took a step forward drawing the distance closer.

“Make sure to treat your wound as soon as possible, it might leave you a scar” said Jisoo. “I don’t want to hear from you that I’m responsible for leaving another scar in you”

She walked past him this time.

Taehyung was speechless at what she had just said to him.

He couldn’t believe her harsh choice of words.

Jisoo didn’t even sound sarcastic, she was just telling the truth.

Taehyung went home after another wearying day.

RM stayed with him to have a cup of coffee he couldn’t get to drink because of the incident at the set.

He crossed his legs and accidentally put his feet on top of the table.

“Hyung, put your feet down” said Taehyung. “You know I hate seeing my things getting dirty”

RM put his feet down right away because of his nagging.

“You are always sentive when I do something” said RM. “But with Jisoo, you shared clothes, you let her sit on your bed in the hotel, you pushed a dirty stalker to the wall and I saw you let Jisoo hold your hand even when there were no cameras”

Taehyung pushed him to the floor.

“Go out” said Taehyung. “I will sleep now so just go”

RM sat on the couch again and put his hands on Taehyung’s shoulders.

“I was just kidding” said RM. “But why do you think she didn’t want to press charges on that stalker? What was she afraid of? Well, it would make headlines for sure.. Don’t you think she has something she’s hiding?”

Taehyung stood up.

“Why do you even care?” said Taehyung. “Are you really interested in her, hyung?”

“I’m sure you’re more interested in her” said RM. “If you didn’t care, would you have run like crazy to open that door?”

“Then should I have done nothing?” asked Taehyung. “When a woman was getting assaulted?”

RM sipped on his coffee.

“I thought you hated her” said RM.

Of course he hated her. 

But he would be forever guilty to close an eye to violence especially towards someone he knew.

He thought no one could just sit still after witnessing such incident.

“Goodluck on your press conference”

“I will see you on my parent’s anniversary”

Taehyung woke up reading those messages from Mina.

A month has passed already since he began filming the drama with Jisoo.

The day of the press conference for the drama fell on the same day Mina was going abroad for her movie.

It was just a coincidence but he couldn’t help but feel grateful that he didn’t have to make up excuses to Mina for not showing up at the airport.

RM picked him up in the afternoon and as soon as they arrived at the location, RM couldn’t help but praise Jisoo’s beauty.

“Whoa.. she looks gorgeous, don’t you think so?” RM said as he tapped Taehyung’s arm. “I thought I wouldn’t get impressed if I saw her almost everyday but she looks more beautiful as days go by”

Taehyung watched Jisoo as she entered while cameras were flashing on her.

“She just looks like herself” said Taehyung. “Hyung, I told you not to take interest in her.. stop drooling over her”

But RM wasn’t even listening to him and ran to Jisoo to take a picture of her.

Taehyung was dumbfounded as he saw his manager acting like a teenager fanboying over Jisoo.

RM used to like Mina a lot for Taehyung but only a week after they had started dating, he changed his mind when he found out Mina’s true personality.

Even RM had noticed how bad Taehyung was treated by Mina. 

Taehyung pulled RM from there and brought him backstage.

“Stop embarrassing me hyung” said Taehyung. “Just stay here for my sake”

RM kept glancing on the reporters and cameramen.

“Taehyung, those reporters are from Mina’s agency, aren’t they?”asked RM. “All of them..”

Taehyung looked at them.

“I think so..” said Taehyung. “Mina must have done something again”

“They might give you some unexpected questions about your relationship” said RM. “Just try to answer them in a cool way like you always do”

Taehyung nodded.

But he thought someone else might have a disadvantage.

Mina might have prepared those reporters not to attack him but to attack someone else.

Just what was Mina trying to do? 

The press conference started some time later..
