Latte and ChillThere it was. I my lips as the juicy strawberry came closer in my field of vision. All I had to do was reach out and grab it. My fingers stretched forward, almost touching the ripened-
THUD. THUD. THUD. I jolted awake and I was not happy.
"Who is making this much noise at five in the morning?" I fumed.
Angry that my pleasant, though admittedly ridiculous dream was interrupted, I stumbled out of bed, ready to give somebody a piece of my mind. The noise was still ensuing. THUD. THUD. THUD.
I ripped open the door. "WHO THE HELL-"
The words got stuck in my throat as I stared at the bizarre scene in front of me.
The culprit was a small girl with shoulder length black hair struggling with an old drawer nearly twice her size. There was almost no doubt that she would be crushed if it fell over. Almost as if she felt my presence, she turned to look at me with large round eyes before greeting me a toothy smile.
Who the hell, indeed. It was just my luck that the perpetrator who disturbed by precious beauty sleep was also cute as hell. My eyes stared, brain gladly eating up the eye-candy.
All the malice I had gnawing in me disappeared in a wisp, just like that.
How superficial, I know. If my new neighbor was a pot-bellied middle aged man, I wouldn't have hesitated in tearing him a new buttcrack. Though it was a known fact that I was extremely timid and quiet in nature, all my friends knew first-hand to never mess with my sleep.
