"Episode today was intense, you're doing really great."

It was a message that she received late Wednesday night. Little did she knew her heart started to beat faster, yet it was in a calm and not in a loud manner. 

She started typing her reply but then erased it before she could finish a sentence. She would reconstruct her sentence again but ends up pressing backspace repeatedly.

Chae Won sighed, it had been few minutes since she received and tried to reply his message. She set her phone beside her and leaned back from her seat. She brought one arm to cover her eyes.

Jung Soo was careful with his steps to not make a sound. He thought he might wake his mother up. When he heard whispering sound of the television, he figured it was either Wednesday or Thursday. Days when his mother told him she'd be staying late for her drama.

He knew where to head to. The living area.

He successfully sneaked out in front of his mother. He never thought he would since Chae Won had always been attentive when it comes to him. He saw her phone that was still dimly lit up. An unsent message he thought she forgot to sent.

The innocent boy pressed the send button. "Thanks oppa."

He placed his doctor themed blanket that he brought with him on his sleeping —he assumed— mother. That was when she realized his presence.

When did Jung Soo became so good at sneaking? She thought. Or am I too distracted to sense him? She countered her own thoughts.

"Did the noise woke you up?" She was referring to the faint sound of the television that was left running.

It wasn't his first time coming up to her at this hour. And yes, he would always bring his blanket with him. "No," his answer was short. He climbed up the sofa and snuggled his small frame on her side.

Chae Won removed the blanket from her and covered Jung Soo with it. She caressed his over grown hair but she did not need to sang him a lullaby as he fell asleep in an instant.

Her phone lit up brighter from her other side accompanied by a soft vibration.

"I'd be anticipating this whole production."

Her eyes grew bigger when she realized she sent a reply. Her sharp movement woke up sleepy Jung Soo. "What's wrong mom?" His small voice calmed her down.

"Nothing, I'm sorry." She continued to caress her little boy while still holding her phone with one hand.

"Who is it mom?"

"Someone I worked with."

"Ah, I sent the message you forgot to send. I did good right mom?" He managed to say it before he fell back to his sleep.

She could feel his even breathing, "Jung Soo, what did you do." It was more of a statement rather than asking.

Before her day ends, Chae Won posted on her fan gallery a statement that thanked her fans for wishing her on her birthday. She said how thankful she was that fans not only sent wishes to her but also to Jung Soo. She also said how happy she was that fans were giving Jung Soo as much love as she have received from them.

After the sweet message on her gallery, she made a new account on Instagram and posted a photo of Jung Soo. It was the first time she did so.

Attached to it was a short caption saying;

"This is Moon Jung Soo. I know this is long overdue but I'd like you all to meet my little one. I already said this but I'm going to say it again, thank you for sending love and wishing good things for Jung Soo.

Yours truly, Jung Soo's mom, Moon Chae Won."

The post gained a good amount of positive comments but at the same time, the comment section was bombarded with the same question —questions she did not get on her gallery.

"Moon?"

"Is your husband also a Moon?"

What gained more attention was the comment that asked about the man from the previous photos released by dispatch.

"I can't help but notice. Ever since her first statement she confessed to having a child but she never mentioned about the man? Is he not her husband?"

It gained a lot of likes putting it on the top comment. There were a lot of replies too, sharing the same observation.

Chae Won, though not the type to answer comments, posted a comment herself. She did not reply directly to the top comment but instead made her own comment on her post.

"A mother and a wife doesn't always have to go together."

Seung Joon who was reading the comments decided to throw his two cents, "Why don't we just get married already?" They were just sitting next to each other.

Chae Won threw him sharp look, "Oppa!"

He raffled her hair gently, "Cute." She flinched subtly when he brought her head on his shoulder after messing her fringe. That was smooth.

Her heart started to race. Not that it was their first time to be this close. It was the calmness of the night that made it different. They were alone enjoying the night sky.

"Relax, it's just me." He said as he brought his hand that was caressing her head to rest on the back rest of the bench they were sitting.
