“Daddy know you’re a girl isn’t it, baby?”

Sarang chuckles as she peeks from her poetry book that she’s reading, eager to finish it up before her due date as Sehun’s hands gently caressing her huge belly with his ear sticks on it. Sehun has been getting the whole day off after knowing that they’re going to know the gender of their baby during Sarang’s next check-up the next day.

“Sehun.”

Sehun hums, his hands didn’t stop caressing his wife’s belly with a smile on his face,

“What if he’s a boy? Will you be disappointed?”

Sarang asked, putting down her poetry book on top of her protruding belly as she looks down on her husband who’s turning to look up at her, his hands stop moving around her belly,

“Love, I don’t mind. Be it a girl or a boy, I’m happy. Really really happy and there won’t be a slightest bit of disappointment.”

“But you have been saying that our baby is a girl ever since this morning. I just… Don’t want you to be disappointed if he’s a boy.”

Sehun sighs, sitting up on the bed as he takes Sarang’s hands in his, eyes staring straight into Sarang’s,

“Love, I won’t be disappointed. If our baby here is a boy then we still have our next times to have a baby girl, aren’t we?”

Sehun playfully raises his eyebrows, making Sarang scoffs, her hand moves up to pinch Sehun’s nose before she pulls her other hand off Sehun’s hold, continue to pick up her poetry book. Sehun then lies down on the bed sideways, snaking his arm around the back of Sarang’s waist, making the girl yelps before she clucks her tounge and let Sehun slides his arm around her as the guy then buries his face on Sarang’s huge belly, peppering kisses on it,

“Daddy loves you, your mommy and your brother so much, baby.”

Sehun sleepily whispers, Sarang smiles as she watches her husband cutely snuggling on her belly. Her hand then moves to caress Sehun’s hair while she continues reading her poetry book. Letting Sehun sleeps on her belly until a few hours after, her husband groggily sits up, making Sarang blinks her eyes as she looks up at Sehun,

“Sleep, Love. It’s way past midnight already. You can continue reading tomorrow, okay baby?”

Sarang pouts, sighing before she nods, letting Sehun takes her poetry book off her hand and put it on the bedside table.

“Oppa.”

Sehun chuckles once he turns to look at her wife who’s already pouting, blinking her eyes cutely with her arms wide open, knowing that she must have something that she craves to eat since it has become Sarang’s habit to sometimes wake him up in the middle of the night, pestering him to either cook for her or go out to get the foods she wants for her.

“What do you want to eat tonight, my princess?”

Sarang grins, wrapping her arms around Sehun’s neck once her husband scoots closer towards her,

“Can we go out and eat ice-creams at the convenient store that we used to go during our high school days? When we first started dating.”

“But Love, that’s about 2 hours’ drive, baby. You’re gonna get tired and you have to wake up early too tomorrow for your check-up.”

Sehun gently said, his hand moves to caress Sarang’s hair as the girl then pouts, dropping her arms off Sehun’s neck,

“It’s fine then.”

Sarang’s about to pull the blanket over her body when Sehun lifts her off the bed, making her eyes widen as she naturally wraps her arms around her husband’s neck,

“Sehun!”

“Let’s go get changed before we go get your ice-creams.”

Sarang smiles so wide upon hearing Sehun’s words, pecking a kiss on his cheek before she snuggles in Sehun’s arms, letting her husband carries her to their walk-in closet.

“Woah! Oh, that one! The one we ate on our first date!”

Sarang jumps a little on her feet, making Sehun quickly wraps his arm around his wife’s waist, pulling her closer as he looks down on her with a worried look on his face. Sarang who notices the change of look in Sehun’s eyes, grins innocently,

“Sorry, I got too excited.”

Sehun chuckles,

“It’s fine, Love but no more jumping around, okay?”

Sarang nods, her finger then points toward a few ice-creams that she wants as Sehun leans down and help get them for her. Once Sehun’s done paying, Sarang cutely drags him to sit at one of the tables outside of the 24hr convenient store. Taking their seats, Sehun looks over his wife with a smile on his face, his hand rummaging the plastic bag that houses a few of the ice-creams his wife pointed at just now.

“Which one you want to eat first?”

“The one we ate on our first date!”

Sehun laughs, shaking his head seeing how loud and adorable his wife is getting while he takes out the chocolate coated vanilla ice-cream, tearing up the wrapper and handed it to his wife. Sarang giggles on her seat, her legs moving up and down in excitement as she eats her ice-cream. Sehun smiles in adoration as he watches over his wife cutely savouring her ice-cream,

“Baby.”

Sarang hums, her eyes fixed on her ice-cream as she pulls down the wrapper,

“What’s with the Mickey’s ice-cream?”

“That one’s for Hajun.”

Sarang casually answers, continue to eat her ice-cream while she looks up at Sehun who’s nodding with the same smile on his face. It took Sarang only 15 minutes to finish up all 3 ice-creams of her choice that Sehun had to stop her from eating some more by promising her to bring her and Hajun out for an ice-cream date tomorrow after her pregnancy check-up and after picking Hajun up from the kindergarten.

“Baby surely loves ice-creams, don’t you?”

Sarang cutely whispers on her stomach as she caresses her huge belly, looking down on it with a smile on her face before she leans back down on the leather seat of Sehun’s Range Rover as the guy glances over her while he drives them back home.

“Sleep for a while, I’ll wake you up once we’re home.”
