"Minju, Eunbi-unnie's dead."

"Don't say that, Hii. She still lives in my heart, in our hearts. She took good care of us and taught us most of what we know now."

"I know that, Minju. But we are adults now. You should be able to discern which of Eunbi-unnie's word is applicable and which are not."

"What are you trying to say?"

"Look, obviously this whole Chaewon-ssi thing has been damaging your friendship with Yuri. I'm sure you don't want to let anything break your friendship with her right?" She gave me a meaningful look. "If this goes on, that might just happen. Think about what's at stake here, Minju. I really think it is not worth it for a petty curiosity."

I sigh. Why can't they understand me? I don't really get why they see Kim Chaewon as a dangerous person. The way she handled me with care when she took me away, the way she grazed her hand through my wounds. No one dangerous can feel so gentle.

I turn my head to Yuri's direction and I saw her look at my direction too. She beamed at me and I can feel a smile etching it's way to my face. Suddenly, all thoughts of Chaewon vanish from my mind.

Few weeks have passed. I have successfully kept Chaewon out of my mind. She still avoids people in general. She also never gave a glance my way. We're currently in our room.

"Hii-chaaan!!" Nako whined while shaking Hitomi's shoulder.

"I said no, Nako!" Hitomi said as she tried to shake Nako's hand from her shoulders.

"Ohhhh come onnnn!!! Pleaaaasssee!!" Nako shifted her position to hugging Hitomi's right arm. Trying to shove her face to Hitomi. Hitomi clearly uncomfortable with Nako's closeness.

The sight forced a laugh out of my lips. Hitomi glared at me. I quickly raised my hands in the air. "I tried to contain it, I promise." Hitomi groaned and rolled her eyes. This made my laugh burst out louder.

Nako whined louder with the lack of attention. She then proceeds to grab my forearm. "Aren't you the least bit curious, Minju??"

"I am. But you won't get an answer out of Hii." The door opened and it revealed Yuri.

"Yurrii!! Hitomi won't tell me who her sparring partner is!!" Hitomi just sighs and shook her head.

Yuri just grinned at Nako, looking at her adoringly and patted her head. "In time, Nako. We'll find out. Hitomi's just not ready to tell us." Hitomi looked at Yuri appreciatingly, as if thanking her for understanding.

"Ooowwwww!! You all trying to make me sound like the bad one here!! Hitomi's the one keeping secrets from us!" Nako pouted and crossed her arms. Yuri just hugged Nako tight to appease her anger.

I understand Nako's frustration because Hitomi's sparring
