Attention
1 Minute and 10 SecondsOnly the smile was not towards me. It was towards her front. I turn to look at the person she is smiling at, finding Hitomi standing across the hallway in front of the classroom door. "Tomi-ah,"
Hitomi lifted her head from her phone to look at us. "Hi, unnie, Minju." She gave a timid smile towards us.
"Are you ready to leave?" Chaewon-unnie said as she remove the distance between the two of them.
I decided to copy her action and I was also right in front of Hitomi. "Hey, Hii. What are you doing? Sparring? Can I tag along?"
Hitomi gave Chaewon-unnie an uncertain look. "Uhm, Minju, I don't think tha-"
"Great! I'll behave, I promise." I flashed Hitomi the most innocent smile I could muster. Hitomi sigh and the smile from Chaewon-unnie's face vanished.
We were walking to their secret training ground when we come across the person I longed to see but at the same time dreaded to. With the person I hate the most. I didn't realize I stopped walking if it were not for Hitomi and Chaewon-unnie freezing in their tracks to look back at me.
They were walking together. I felt millions of needles poking my heart. Suddenly my mood drops to the core of the earth. I felt a hand tugged my arm, who I assume to be Hitomi's but I didn't budge. "Minju…" I might be a martyr at this rate. I felt stronger pain in my chest like my heart is being ripped into pieces, as I saw Yuri laughing at Yena and hitting her arm. I feel like suffocating as I kept swallowing the lump in my throat.
My vision was suddenly blocked by the sight of Chaewon-unnie in front of me. "Try to keep up if you want to tag along." She said in a blank face.
I tried to blink the tears away but it only helps them escape from my eyes. I avoided her piercing chestnut eyes. "Right, sorry." I said in a weak voice. I dropped my head low as few more tears start to drop. Hitomi held my hand to lead the way.
I felt her eyes on me as we pass by but I didn't lift my head. I can't meet those eyes. It will make my heart swell and break at the same time.

I felt a bit better after watching them spar. I watched in awe as I can never land a hit on Hitomi whenever we have a non-mutant sparring but while watching them, Hitomi looked absolutely helpless against Chaewon-unnie.
She wasn't exactly beating Hitomi up but she is tripping her, avoiding her lounges, pushing her, and turning her around like they were just dancing. It made Hitomi fall on her , well, I lost count at eight.
Chaewon-unnie's moves are amazing. It is so graceful yet so calculated. Like it is as easy as breathing. "Why don't the school train us these moves?"
Hitomi was breathing hard but she still tried to retort. "Will..they get to...force your lazy bum out of the couch?" She gave a knowing smile at me.
I made face to her. "Ha. Ha. But thinking about it, students can vastly improve like you did if only they are trained. Why don't do that?" I turn to look at Chaewon-unnie.
She merely shrugged and said "Bad system." She returned her attention to Hitomi. Another 'dance' move was executed and Hitomi is back on the ground.
"Ow." Hitomi scratched her right elbow on the floor causing some shallow wounds to form around it.
Chaewon-unnie knelt down and glides her hand over the wound and, surprise, surprise, it vanished. She smiled adoringly to Hitomi, as if she is showing magic to
