I felt somebody shake my body.

"Minju, you need to wake up. We still have a game, you can't sleep in." I opened one eye and searched for the body beside me. "She's in the bathroom, taking a shower. You should too."

I grabbed my phone on the side table and looked at the time and closed both of my eyes. I groaned. "Hii, it's just 6:43 in the morning. Our game starts at 1 in the afternoon."

Hitomi laughs. "Yuri is pretty excited. And you should at least stretch your muscles a bit before the game, don’t you think?"

I suddenly realized where we are and quickly sat up. Both of my eyes now opened. "How's she by the way?"

"Few aches here and there." Right on cue, Yuri and Nako went out of the bathroom. Nako is helping her by draping her hands onto the smaller girl's shoulder. I stood up from the bed and quickly went to them and offered my shoulder.

I draped Yuri's other arm over my shoulder and guides her to the bed. "Oh, thank goodness! She is not light." Nako said while breathing heavily.

"Hey!" Yuri said with her raspy voice. I frowned at her. I didn’t realize her voice was raspy from last night since we were talking in hushed voice.

"Is your throat okay? Are you even okay?" I looked at her and ask her sternly.

She gave me a warm smile and caressed my cheeks. Her eyes were soft…..until it glowed to a playful look. Her smile turned to a smirk. She pinched my cheeks hard then she tapped my face softly. "What doesn't kill me makes me stronger, right?"

"Yur-"

"I was kidding. My throat feels dry. If I drink too much water, I end up vomiting it. Breathing heavily sometimes hurts. I have bruises and aches here and there, but I'll survive." My eyes start to water at the things I'm hearing. "Hey, I'll be fine. I promise." She squeezed my hand. "I will really be fine. The nurse said she'll come back to heal the bruises and aches. I'll be good as new!" She smiled warmly at me.

I haven’t mentioned, Chaeyeon-unnie, or any other healer mutants can't heal wounds and damages inflicted by mutant power. Last time when I sparred with Hitomi, Chaeyeon-unnie just healed my wounds and bruises that were acquired from bumping into walls and scratches from the floor. I had to wait for the poison to die down for a few hours. This time is no different. The nurse can’t heal Yuri's lungs and throat. She'll have to heal the natural way.

I gave her a sad smile. "Win the championship, please. I would blame myself if you didn't win." Yuri was pouting in front of me.

I wiped my tears. "Yeah. What do you think? I wouldn't win even if I'm sad?" She laughed at my remark.

"Enough of that. Minju, have a non-mutant spar with me. I need to stretch some muscles." Non-mutant spar is sparring without mutant powers.

"Ugghh!! This early, Hii?? Are you serious? I haven’t even washed up yet." My protest is futile as she starts pushing me to the clinic bathroom. I hear Nako and Yuri giggling at my misery.

We have been sparring for four hours. FOUR HOURS!!! Who does that? Well, it is more of getting my beaten up than sparring.
