"Y-you said-"

"What?" We both turned at the sound of a hushed voice. Yuri. "You like her? So you're finally moving on from me?" I don't understand? Why is her face painted with pain? She's not supposed to feel this way. My chest constricted with pain at the look of betrayal on her face.

"I-I…I" I tried to speak but it feels like the air is being out of my chest.

"I see. Maybe it's for the best. For our friendship." She said quietly.

I almost forgot how much heartbreak feels. All I can do is stare at her in anguish as my heart calls out her name. She bid us goodbye and walked pass us.

Hitomi grabbed my arms to face her. "Do-did you mean what you said??"

"I-I mean I still love Yuri but I think I'm starting to feel something for Chaewon-unnie too."

"Are you sure you're not mistaken? This is so sudden." She said quickly like she's panicked.

"Is there a problem? I thought you don't like her that way?"

Hitomi blinked her eyes. "I-I don't. Yeah, I don't."

"Cause if you do, I'll back away. After all she-"

"I don't!" She quickly cut me off before inhaling deeply. "There's no problem."

"Okay," I said softly.

"Okay." She said firmly and turn around to go to her room.

I saw Chaewon-unnie sitting on the same sit. "Hi unnie, do you want to buy some snacks before heading to our training spot? We could buy Hitomi some cream buns along the way. I'm sure she'll love it!" I said as I proceed to the seat next to her.

She was looking at the window of the classroom. "We will not have our sparring today. Hitomi's not coming. How is she by the way?"

"O-okay I guess? Why are you suddenly asking?" I frowned at her.

"Is she not feeling well? That is what she told me."

"Errrrr.…. she is?" I said unsurely. Why would she lie to Chaewon-unnie? "Uhm..yeah, just a bit of rest and she'll be good as new. Uhm..then it could be just the two of us training." I scratch my nape as I smiled at her sheepishly.

"That would not be necessary, a day without training would not regress your skills that steeply." She waves her hand dismissively.

"But I want to." I purse my lips.

She narrowed her eyes at me. "What new schemes have you formulated this time?"

I flail my arms furiously. "Nothing really!! I just want to spar with you."

"I will not fall for your schemes, besides, I have something I have to do." She flicks my forehead to shoo me. I didn't know that I was leaning towards her already.
