King's Story

Forgotten Fighters

Saving the best for last, is myself Kyung-soo Han (Kai-ung-so-han) also known as the King. I pilot the mech Singijeon which is the best mech ever, because, while it's not as buff as Beast, or as fast as La Princesse Serene, it is, however, one of the most damaging mechs in the arsenal. After all Singijeon is also the name of a Korean weapon called the Hwacha that would fire a barrage of arrows at it's target, and my mech does the same except with explosive missiles. However, I know why you are here, you don't want to hear me lecture on and on about how my mech is far superior to the other mechs, you are here to hear my backstory, so here goes nothing. Our story begins in high school, I decided that I should run for class president, because I knew the best way to appeal to everyone, as everyone was interested in a video game called "Fortnite 3; Please Stop Stealing Mom's Credit Card for V-Bucks" and I had a plan that I would have that downloaded onto the library computers and increase the amount of computers in the library that way, using the new server building function we could have big Fortnite 3 tournament. Of course due to that plan, I had managed to win, during that time I had nicknamed myself King because I felt like I was now in charge, as well as if you were to replace the y with an i and remove the u and the soo, you get King, pretty cool huh. I delivered on my promise to have big Fortnite 3 tournaments, and I delivered on my promise to increase the amount of library computers that my school had. I even participated in some of the Fortnite 3 tournaments and performed pretty well, winning four out of the five that I participated in before being told that since ,technically, I am the host of these tournements, I should not be participating and instead observing that way I can make revisions to these tournements when needed. I never needed to make any revisions to those tournements though because the King is almost always right. I never got any perfect scores on my tests, but that never mattered. When I finally graduated High School, I decided to find some gaming tournaments, instead of going to college like my parents had insisted on me doing. This was because I noticed that I was pretty good at video games. At my ever first gaming tournament for the game Fortnite 3, I had finished 4th out of all 100 people that had participated in the tournament. I could say that I thought that my performance was pretty good, but I would be lying and I don’t want to do that as the King never lies. I was not satisfied with the result because the king had to come on top and the King never settles for anything below 1st place. That's when I decided to compete in as many gaming tournaments as possible that way I could increase my reputation to the fullest and become number 1. At first, I stuck with exclusively Fortnite 3 tournaments, but I decided to increase the amount of gaming tournaments that I participated, these other games included but were not limited to "Minecraft 4 Hunger Games; Fighting to the Death Just Got Even More Personal than it has Ever been Before in the Blocky Arena", "Super Smash Bros Complete; with Waluigi and other characters that should have been in the previous games", and "Mortal Kombat 19; This time, it's even bloodier than before," and would increase as I continued my career. Most of the time in the first few tournaments that I participated in for any of these new games, I would not do as well as I had hoped, but as the King practiced the game more and studied the strategies of my competition I was able to quickly go up in the ranks and become number 1 as that's what the King would only settle for. However, no matter how hard I tried, there was one person that would cause the King to struggle a lot, and it was all because of a new player by the name of D.va. I remember the first tournament when we met, it was for a "Player Unknown's Battlegrounds 2; With Building" solo tournament. It was my fifth tournament, so I had hopes of doing pretty good due to all the practicing, and studying. I came in second place which is not normal as at the fifth tournament I participate in since the King normally get 1st, I mean I got first at the previous one and when that happens, I get 1st for the rest of the tournaments that I participate in. Then seeing who beat me, just talking about it makes me so mad, as it was D,va, but it wasn’t the fact that she beat me that makes me mad, it was when we were all presented our trophies on the podium, and the look D.va gave me. I was on my second spot and above me on the right of me was her above me, and then seeing D.va give me a look that just spoke "heh, you call yourself King, guess I am your queen" and I was so furious about it, the King does not want a queen, the King only has himself no one else, he does not need a queen to rule at his side. I also remember trying studying her tactics, they were the most bizarre things I had ever seen, none of them made sense, she would use low tier guns to defeat her enemies, it almost seemed like she was trying to rub it in her opponents faces that they were bad, which insulted the King even more. I then decided after that experience to not participate in any more tournaments for Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds 2, and focus on tournaments for other games like "Street Fighter 10; Ryu in Space, and No more Guile Turtling" , "4D Space Pinball; Now for Mac, Windows 10, and Chrome", and recently released "Fort: Nite Last Battleground 2; Now with Battle Royale", but after about 4 or 5 tournaments, with me winning the 4th one and sometimes even the 3rd one, D.va would come in and make me fight for my win victory or defeat me. I just wanted to win easily instead of fighting D.va for my victory. I was getting desperate, the King needed to find a game that he could easily win, that didn't involve a team, and that D.va wouldn't notice. I had even gone into the really obscure gaming tournaments for games like "Five Nights at Freddy's 97; Smash Edition", "Unfair Battle Royale", and even "Please Buy This Game or I Will be Homeless 2; I am Getting really Desperate for Money and I Don't Want to Live in a Box Under a Highway Overpass" but I would still find D.va coming to them. I already know what you are thinking, "why don't you practice off of what she's doing?", and the answer is that it is humanly impossible. D.va would use tactics that you simply can't prepare for, while other gamers would find a tactic that they think will work well and will constantly abuse the tactic making it so that people can plan for when that person uses the tactic, D.va would use different tactics for the same situation that would have a similar effectiveness or a lower effectiveness and she had so many of these different tactics that no human could even memorize them. For example, let's say that in Street Fighter 6, D.va were to be faced with a Guile Turtler, and D.va is playing as Ca,,y (that's the character that she will normally choose, however, like I have said before; D.va is completely random and you can't predict which character she will use) D.va would use Cammy's moves that allow her to move towards her foe like the drill kick and the spinning knuckle and then either use the hooligan combo to get an easy hit in or just throw them. Other times though she might select Sakura and spam as many hadokens as possible because even when blocked hadokens still do damage and just when you thought you have all of her strategies all figured out against Guile Turtlers, she goes ahead and plays Rolento and proceeds to spam knife throws on them, there is too many of them, and you may be like why don't you study all of her tactics that way you are prepared for all of them, and there's no one of knowing how many tactics she has and when she will use those tactics, so I can't prepare for any of them, or find out if there is some sort of a system. Eventually, I decided to stick to Mecha Guardian V as that was I game I felt the most confident on, and I could even bring someone to help me out, the person that I brought while they were good as we were able to defeat D.va and her teammate D.mon, but eventually D.va and D.mon were able to defeat us, causing the King to fall down to number 3. Just as I started to think that I should go back to gaming on my computer and just stream everything to somewhat maintain my reputation of being number 1, a letter arrived from a group called MEKA. It said they would invite me to join there team of fighters to protect South Korea. Upon reading this, I begin thinking to myself about how if I take this offer, the King could do his duty of protecting his people. I also begin to think about how I could regain my fame and how this might help me against D.va. Of course when I got there to meet the other people invited, D.va happened to have been one of them. I do still remember thinking, maybe this D.va won't act like a queen and maybe I could still be on top. That never happened, on mech choosing day, She went second, and while that is not necessarily a bad thing as it's polite to let ladies go first and D.mon did go first, D.va still had defeated me in such a simple way, so then I decided to put together this movement for not just me, but for Casino and Overlord and even D.mon, so maybe for once the King can easily defeat his fiercest rival of them all. Before I conclude, I got a feeling that the reader would like to ask a question, why did I let D.mon into the group even though she helped D.va bring me down to number 3 in Mecha Guardian V. It's pretty simple as to why, I felt that if I were to finally defeat my rival, it would look really embarrassing for her if she was defeated by her own teammate, that way she can learn how much embarrassment, I had to go through whenever she would defeat me. King out.
