Forgotten Fighters
Description
if you watch the animated short for the character D.va from overwatch you might notice that there is a scene that features other members that are related to D.va's squad (nicknames are D.mon, King, Overlord, and Casino) however no one cares about them, nothing about their backstories are given (with the exception of how D.mon was on the same esports team of D.va and that Casino was formerly an f1 driver instead of a gamer like (most likely) everyone else) and they don't receive the same amount of fame that D.va gets. I am even willing to bet that there is not all that much merchendise on Blizzard's (now activision due to some PR problems) website for any of these characters. This, however, is something to bring those four back in the spotlight and to (hopefully) add some more to Overwatch. Please note that I do not own Overwatch nor do I work for Blizzard Studios (aka Activision), so this is not canon (but it could be), and if Blizzard (really Activision) is reading, please don't sue me, or arrest me I put a lot of time and effort into this and I truly value what this is becoming, as this is because I feel like I am shaping the mold for these characters, also I made sure not to get sued by a bunch of other companys too. Chapters 1-5 are the chapters I had originally planned on having, with chapters 6 and onward existing because I wanted to add more to my story because I did not feel satisfied at what I had written and I want to add more and give it an actual plot or a noir if you will.
Foreword
This is my first story, please feel free to give whatever criticisms you want, I actually appreciate all criticism as it helps me become a stronger author. I will try to add in humor but this story is pretty much something to tell Blizzard Studios (now starting to merge into Activision due to some PR problems) "you have said that D.va has squadmates, why not add in backstories for them," so there will be a lot of serious moments. BTW there is not many pictures for this story as no one cares about these four characters for me to find all that many images on the internet and I can't draw all that great. The thing I do want the reader to consider though is this, this story is not about what standard fanfictions are about (these two characters that have nothing in common should do inapropiate stuff with each other), this is something in which I took 4 characters that no one cares about and decided to care about them and give them a voice, give them a story, and that's what I did for chapters 1-5 was give them that story, but then I asked myself why not add in a plot to this, make it about these 4 characters that no one cares about, trying to make themselves known, trying to explain what makes them as great as the one everyone cares about, D.va. Up until some big twists happen and a lot of things change. I am not a fan of spoilers, so I won't tell you what happens but I will tell you that if Blizzard entertainment (now starting to merge into Activision due to some PR problems) were to read this, this would be something that would make them want to look at there computers and think about whether or not they should buy the licensing for this. By the way, if you are reading and you find a chapter that has no image but you would like to draw an image for that chapter, feel free to as no one cares about these four characters enough to make any cool fanart, and if you were to let me know and send me the link to your image as well as for which chapter, there's a pretty good chance that it just might make it into the story.
