 3rd Person POV

It's been 2 weeks since Yoohyeon had brought Dongdong home, it was nice. She followed Minji around and would help out, even though she's a slower learner the Minji she's still better then the rest of our maids. Yoohyeon took her usual morning walks around the palace and stopped in the writing room, she then soon realised Dongdong doesn't know how to read and write yet. She quickly called someone to bring Dongdong over. She arrived looking at the princess worried, form where Yoohyeon was standing she could see visible purple bruises on her hand.

"Dongie, what happened" Yoohyeon asked touching the wound, Dongdong Winced in pain.

"N-nothing, I was just careless your highness and hurt myself while helping my Unnie" she replied, all though Yoohyeon wasn't buying it she moved on regardless. She made a gesture for Dongdong to sit down.

"If you are going to live in this house hold, I'm going to have to teach you how to read and write" Yoohyeon said holding up the ink pen. Dongdong was hesitant but complied when Yoohyeon told her she had no choose. After a few hours Dongdong had just barely memorised the vowels, she was beginning to give up when Yoohyeon said

"Hey its alright, your doing great your just like Minji when I first taught her how to read and write" she smiled. Then Yoohyeon saw it, there was a spark in Dongdong's eyes

"You taught Unnie how to read and write" she repeated, Yoohyeon just nodded. She looked at Dongdong who was intensely revising the vowels she just learnt. With in just 5 minutes she had fully memorised all the vowels and had no trouble writing them out. They moved on to learning consonants and what amazed Yoohyeon is that Dongdong learnt all the consonants with in just 2 hours, it took Minji 4 day.

"I want to be just like Unnie, she's nice, sweet and always considerate, Unnie tells me stories before I go to bed, I want to write them down so I can remember them forever" Dongdong said munching on her food. Yoohyeon then knew the perfect way to help Dongdong accomplish her dreams, Dongdong's Motivation is her Unnie Minji. After some more hours for intense studying, the sun had gone down and Dongdong had fallen asleep on the table. Yoohyeon smiled, she picked Dongdong up and carried her back to Minji's room. Yoohyeon tried to avoid the guards as much as possible, she knew that if any of them were to spot her carrying Dongdong around, not only will they freak out but they will punish Dongdong and tell Yoohyeon's parents. Yoohyeon doesn't even want to imagine what's going to happen then. She calmly knocked on Minji's door waiting for a response

"Oh your back, I was beginning to get worried"

Yoohyeon was shocked with what she heard, Minji didn't Refer to herself in third person. Yoohyeon swallowed a lump, she could lie she was wondering why she talks to her in third person while she talks to Dongdong in first person.

"Wait let me get the bandage, I still need to treat your wounds" Minji yelled though the door, with in just a few minutes the door open. Minji's eyes widen, she was shocked that this whole time she was talking to Yoohyeon. Yoohyeon panics, her eyes darted left and right. She couldn't even look at Minji, she was so embarrassed for not telling her that she was there.

"Y-Your Highness, W-what can M-Minji H-Help you with" she asked avoiding Yoohyeon's eyes, she then released the princess was holding her sister and quickly took her away. Yoohyeon was shocked by such strength, she has never seen Minji hurt a soul so releasing that she was so strong shocked her. Minji then rushed inside and carefully placed down her sister in her bed. Yoohyeon then noticed some guards walking past while chatting, she quickly went inside and closed the door gently. She could hear foot steps coming towards the door

"Your Highness wha-" before Minji could continue, Yoohyeon placed her hand over Minji's mouth

"Did you see that" we heard outside, Yoohyeon quickly placed a finger over her lips and ran to the corner to hide. Then there was a knock on the door, Minji looked at me and then went to open it

"Why was your door open just then" one of the guards asked

"Minji's sister had just returned" she replied

"Oh, tsk you know how lucky you guys are to get this kind of treatment from the princess. To me your nothing but a worthless rat living of the scraps of others" he spat at Minji before laughing and walking away with the other guard. Yoohyeon looked furious, she quickly walked out and took Minji's face and wiped the spit off. 

"Why didn't you say anything back" Yoohyeon asked

"Minji- Minji doesn't want to upset anyone" Minji replied timidly, Yoohyeon was to upset and frustrated to think how Minji was feeling

"YOU REALLY NEED TO START STANDING UP FOR YOURSELF, MINJI YOUR NOT A DOG. STOP BEING SO KIND, YOU CAN'T JUST LET THEM DISRESPECT YOU LIKE THAT" Yoohyeon shouted. Then the door opened again

"WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT YOU LIITLE-" the guard stopped mid-sentence after feeling the icy gaze of the princess. "Your Highness what are you doing here" he asked

"I just came to get Minji to bring her sister back to her room" Yoohyeon said still glaring at the two Guards that are now scared for there life.

"W-why are you in there room" the guard ask looking down on the floor.

"I was telling Minji how fast of a learner Dongdong was" Yoohyeon replied "and my how well mannered Dongdong was too, very respectful" The guard swallowed hard

"Your Highness I-I can explain" he said trying to defend himself

"Pack your things both of you, I never want to see you in my palace again" she said, just then Minji got on her knees
