Another chapter for you all and I'm pretty sure you guys have been anticipating for a while so here it is...Enjoy

Though the night is dark, it didn’t hinder the brightness and happiness the two felt.

It’s official.

Seulgi and Joohyun are officially together after sharing that passionate yet heated kiss and embrace by the end of the pier. It left the two breathless, physically and metaphorically and neither of them would have wanted it any other way.

It was romantic and simple, just the way they both liked it.

Their hands are intertwined as they slowly walk out of the carnival towards Joohyun's car, giving passing glances to each other every few seconds, making them smile and giggle like high school girls.

Joohyun has become accustomed to holding Seulgi’s hand within short notice like she had been holding it for eternity. She slightly rests her head besides Seulgi’s shoulder while her free hand gently caresses her forearm. It was an unconscious action, but it was something Joohyun felt comfortably at ease doing so. She is an affectionate person by nature, especially towards the one she loves and more so, because she is with Seulgi, her girlfriend.

Seulgi notices this letting out a smile at how her girlfriend had become quite attached so quickly. However, she didn’t mind this one bit…She loved every bit of it.

“You’re really an affectionate person aren’t you?”

“Only to the one I love…” Joohyun grins.

She lightly taps her nose.  “You’re too cute Joohyun.”

They reach Joohyun’s car, letting go of each other’s hand where Seulgi goes to the passenger side and Irene is fumbling in her mini satchel for her car keys. Once inside, the two sit in silence fixing their gaze at each other as their eyes are both lovingly glossed over.

Seulgi tilts her head, questioningly.

“Can I ask you something Joohyun?”

“Anything…”

“Why me?...There are so many people out there that you could choose from, and I mean anyone who would gladly drop to their knees to date you, but you chose me…why?”

Joohyun’s eyes connect with hers, not blinking and unreadable. Letting the silence to remain in the air for a while before proceeding to speak.

“Because I knew the first time I met you, I knew you were something special.”

Seulgi blinks a few times at what her girlfriend had said…Was it true that their very first encounter in the café, where her herself had fallen in love with her at first sight exactly happened to her girlfriend?

Joohyun cups Seulgi’s face, while a reassuring smile appears on her face.

“I can’t explain it Seulgi…but I just knew. I knew you were different. I’m not gonna lie, I’ve had many suitors and admirers but they we’re all the same. But you…I just knew you were different…”

“Well…I’m thankful for your handkerchief then. If you hadn’t dropped it, then…well you know…” Seulgi says jokingly, causing Joohyun to laugh.

Joohyun looks at the clock in her car and notices its 8:30pm. The night was still young and wanted to spend more time with her girlfriend, so she suggests they head into town and have a walk around which Seulgi happily agrees too. Throughout the drive, Seulgi affectionately stares at her girlfriend, admiring that even the simplest task of driving, she still stuns with her beauty.

“You should take a picture it will last longer.” Joohyun teases.

“If you say so…”

Seulgi whips out her phone and proceeds to take candid pictures of Joohyun, causing her to giggle at what she is doing. Seulgi couldn’t help but smile, it was still too surreal to think that the human epitome of perfection beside her is her girlfriend. She starts to think of dates, places to take her, activities and challenges to try out with her and celebrating special occasions such as birthdays and their anniversary. Yet these exact same thoughts overwhelmed Seulgi, as she was a novice in the dating world. Sure, she had a few dates here and there and only had one boyfriend during junior high, a short-term relationship that only lasted a year. She learnt a few things though, such as the art of kissing, affection and gift giving, but none of the maturity that comes with adult relationships. And she was hoping that her relationship with Joohyun, or her first ever real relationship, was going to be an experience she wanted to learn from and eventually master the art of love.

She just had to trust herself; with maturity comes with experience and she was willing to give everything and anything to her.

They eventually reach town and the two hop out of the car for a stroll, automatically grasping each other’s hand once they leave the car.

The two slowly gaze into shop windows, while they happily and playfully banter and tease each other.

“Seulgi you’re so mean! Just because I’m shorter than you doesn’t mean you can keep tapping my head!” Joohyun says pouting.

“Joohyun I do it because you’re too cute and because…I can...”

“Hey I’m older than you so watch it…”

“…Not by that much though…and you’re my girlfriend…” Seulgi playfully teases.

Joohyun sighs at her girlfriend’s childishness, but at the same time enjoys the playful banter they share with each other.

She takes notice of how Seulgi is a lot more mature than she anticipated. Throughout the whole night, from the carnival to now she notices how Seulgi affectionately leads her, not because she has no sense of direction and would go straight unless told so, but more of the case that she can see that Seulgi has an innate ability to take care of her. She has seen this characteristic of hers when she is with her two best friends, Joy and Yeri and more notably, when she bought her dinner to her office, during her drunken escapade and the moment they were in the Ferris Wheel. The moment in the Ferris Wheel solidified her theory of Seulgi being warm-hearted and gentle, ideally the type of partner she has always wanted.

She smiles at this observation, which catches Seulgi’s attention.

“Why are you smiling so much?”

“Ohh…nothing…”

Seulgi raises her eyebrow.

“You sure it’s nothing? I mean you look extremely happy…”

“I’m happy because I’m with you Kang Seulgi.”

Seulgi gulps at the comment. Who would’ve thought that her goddess-looking girlfriend would say that? She felt lucky that her heart fluttered.

“Well, I’m happy too because you’re with me Bae Joohyun.”

They continue to walk around town when they reach the entrance of the city’s botanical garden. It had the perfect atmosphere with a mix of silence, a few chatters of the people around, the faint rustling of the leaves and ample lighting to see the gravelled path around the expansive garden. They continue to walk in silence, letting their hands be their language as the form of communication. Nothing needed to be said, as this simple embrace meant everything to the two of them.

However, Seulgi was curious and wanted to know more about her girlfriend. She knew she was a professor, a model, a goddess and everything perfect but she didn’t know any other details besides that. She wanted to know more and she wanted her girlfriend to know more about her.

She wanted to know Bae Joohyun.

“Hey Joohyun…umm can I ask you something?”

“Sure.”

“I actually don’t know much about you. Besides you being my professor and a model, who is Bae Joohyun exactly?”

Joohyun let’s out a breathless laugh before staring at Seulgi.

“Well what would you like to know?”

“Everything.”

“Everything? If I tell you everything…” She leans into Seulgi’s ear, her lips slightly grazing it before completing what she was about to say.

“…then it wouldn’t be much fun would it?”

This sent shivers down Seulgi’s spine.

Hot, heavy and electric shivers (the good kind) that her girlfriend had just said the last few words of her sentence in the most seductive way possible. She felt her cheeks heat up immediately, surprised that her blood managed to reach and boil so quickly, but then again it was Joohyun who had stimulated this.

“Umm…well…j-just s-some things…” Seulgi answers, stuttering and still in a trance.

Joohyun smirks at her reaction and admiring how cute Seulgi had become with a simple whisper. She playfully pokes her cheek and finally answers her girlfriend’s curiosity.

“Well…I live away from my parents because of my job as a professor. They’re back home, retired actually, because they don’t need to work anymore. My mum and dad used to be professors at the same university they were teaching at and…well the rest is history. My brother travels a lot for his job because he’s a commercial pilot, but we keep in touch once a week to check up on each other. And then there’s me…”

“Wow…Bae Joohyun that is one impressive family résumé.” Seulgi banters, causing Joohyun to poke her on her side.

But she wasn’t joking either. The poise, the grace and perfection of Joohyun was definitely defined at an early age, which has now blossomed into an ethereal beauty.

“All jokes aside though…wow…I pale in comparison…”

“Seulgi, it doesn’t mean anything.”

“I know, I know but you pretty much followed your parent’s footsteps and I’m jealous your brother can pretty much see the whole world and get paid for it!”

Joohyun playfully rolls her eyes at the compliment and it was her turn to ask.

“So, who is Kang Seulgi?”

Seulgi sighs before answering.

“Well…my mom is a nurse and works all sorts of odd hours that I sometimes don’t see her and my dad works odd jobs here and there. They make it work and its reflective of me going to college, which is why I strive to graduate, be successful and give back to them. If wasn’t for them I probably wouldn’t be able to practice hard work and resilience. And possible future plans for myself…Maybe become a professor?” Seulgi shoots a mischievous glance at Joohyun.

Joohyun stops in front her, halting them from walking any further. Looking into her eyes, holding the gaze as long as possible wanting to absorb everything Seulgi had said to her. It was like a breath of fresh air, hearing Seulgi talk about her family
