Taeyeon found herself mesmerized by Jessica’s activities, or, she thought. For this one month, Taeyeon learned that Jessica enjoys her job so much. The slight smile always appears on her lips whenever she got a good picture on her camera or when the ideas for her monthly article came out. Jessica often spends her days at the coffee shop, public park, and library. And as the bodyguard for at least six months, Taeyeon is following Jessica around.

“You didn’t seem bored,” said Jessica when Taeyeon walked back to her with the bottle of water.

“Do you think I will be bored?” Taeyeon asked back, “It’s fun.”

“Since your job is bodyguard, maybe you were expecting to fight some people?” Jessica chuckled. She’s busy trying to open the cap but somehow failed. Taeyeon, as the gentlewomen, as usual, took the bottle and opened it immediately

“Thanks,” Jessica muttered

“You’re welcome,” said Taeyeon, “I didn’t look forward to fighting, but I think this job is surprisingly peaceful. Maybe, because you didn’t have the crowd activities?”

“Maybe,” Jessica nodded, “Next week, we will see the crowd.”

“Looking forward to that,” Taeyeon smiled

“Yeah,” Jessica smiled back, and she thought, she has something with Taeyeon’s smile

“You are all smile,” Jaehyun jumped to the couch while Jessica is reading a magazine

“Why? Is it good?” Jessica answered. Her eyes still on the magazine

“It’s good, moreover, whenever Taeyeon Noona around.”

Jessica turned her head aside and saw Jaehyun grinned widely, “What does it mean?”

“I mean, I like when you and Taeyeon Noona together.”

“She has a girlfriend.”

“Oh.”

“You sound disappointed.”

“I am,” Jaehyun shook his head, “You guys are so cool whenever together.”

“Come on, Jaehyun. We were just wandering around.”

“Noona, why don’t you start to think about your love life?”

“You sound like Mom now, Jaehyun,” Jessica closed her magazine and looked at her younger brother

“I’m her son after all,” Jaehyun chuckled and left Jessica alone

“So, we will have fansign at the Yeudo Park,” said Kyungsoo while driving. Besides him, Taeyeon is listening to his explanation carefully while Jessica just zoning out in the backseat

“How much the ticket has sold, Kyungsoo?” Jessica asked

“Around 300 for today,” Kyungsoo replied, “We will have other three fansign events which sold around 1000 tickets.”

“You are being the superstar, Jessica,” said Taeyeon, “I’m glad that I got your signature before them.”

“You sound like a fan now,” Kyungsoo chuckled, “I hope today will be good.”

“Let’s hope for a great event today,” said Taeyeon before Kyungsoo parked the car

“Thank you for coming,” Jessica smiled widely when the last fan took the signed book. Taeyeon carefully took the gift from the fan and examined it quickly before putting it on the box behind her

“Thank you for today, Taeyeon,” said Jessica when her bodyguard handed her jacket

“Anytime,” Taeyeon smiled back, “Seems like your fans are still waiting for you.”

Jessica looked up to see some of her fans still looking at the small tent where the event was held. Some of them are having a big camera

“I guess they had some of our photos,” Jessica chuckled again, “Where is Kyungsoo?”

“He talked with the crews behind.”

“Let’s prepare to go home.”

“Do you need to say hello first to your fans?”

“Ah, you are right,” Jessica nodded. Taeyeon took Jessica’s bag and some of her stuff. She walked beside Jessica, who’s waving to her fans

“Thank you for coming!” Jessica smiled at the crowd. Some of them took photos, and Jessica waved to them. Taeyeon saw Kyungsoo parked the car behind the group and she finds there’s no other way to there except going through the crowd.

“We need to go,” said Taeyeon while putting her arm behind Jessica’s waist and guided her to walk forward. Some of her fans trying to her closer to Jessica but Taeyeon is quick enough to hug Jessica aside and forces away to them

The crowd subdued but Taeyeon feels like someone is trying hard to get Jessica from another side. And Taeyeon is right, she saw the knife from a guy. When he draws the blade, Taeyeon quickly pulled Jessica to another side.

“Oh damn,” Taeyeon cursed because she feels pain in her stomach
