Krystal walked into Taeyeon when the latter is reading something at the dining room. The younger girl was thirsty in the middle of the night and she found her mother still awake

“Soojung-ah, can’t sleep?” Taeyeon smiled and taps her pen onto the paper

“I’m thirsty” Krystal opened the refrigerator and takes the water bottle. She gulped the water immediately while Taeyeon still dozing off

“What are you doing, Dad?”

“Come here” Taeyeon motioned Krystal to sit beside her, “Read this”

Krystal read the paper carefully. Both of her mothers wrote the resigned letter for her, she knows as soon as possible her mothers’ will do it

“I know, Dad” Krystal sighed, she takes the pen and gives a signature to the paper

“I will submit it tomorrow” Taeyeon pats Krystal’s head, “Go sleep, Soojung. You must be tired”

“Is Mom still angry to me?”

“I will talk to her later, okay?” Taeyeon pecks Krystal’s temple, “Your Mom is busy”

“But she rejected me at the school. She pushed me away” Krystal chews her lower lips, her chest is tightening, she feels so disappointed for now

Taeyeon reaches forward and envelopes Krystal to a tight hug. She’s, too, being clueless about what should they do to Jessica. The latter is sleeping after cried for a while and Taeyeon needed to comfort her before sneakily went outside and printed the resigned letter for Krystal

“Don’t worry, Baby. Everything will be okay” Taeyeon whispered, even though her heart is tightening

“You owe me a meal because of this” Yuri, Taeyeon’s co-worker is yawning. It’s already afternoon but being music producer, they usually work overnight and Yuri just finished her production at 4 AM today, “You dragged me to the school, and wow, I was being a superstar since all of eyes were at us”

“Because I won’t be a superstar all alone” said Taeyeon while pocketing her hands. She parked her car and walks around because the road is so narrow for a car

“And why we parked your car?” Yuri whined, “Where will we go?”

“Yuri, do you remember Stephanie Hwang?”

“Tiffany? My Ex? Of course, I did” Yuri chuckled, “Juran still got jealous when someone randomly shouted her name. Why?”

“We are going to her house”

“Yah! What if Juran knows?! Are you courting me to dead?”

“Calm down please” Taeyeon sighed, “You are so damn loud”

“Tiffany is the mother from Kim Jongin, the boy who made Krystal pregnant”

“Holy” Yuri covered with her palm, “The world is so small”

“I know. Jessica and I were shocked too when we knew that she’s the mother from Jongin”

“Then why… Why are you taking me not Jessica?” Yuri asked

“She… She’s still mad, Irene said she’s still being off since the morning” Taeyeon wiped her face in frustration, “Well, I really need your help. I couldn’t go alone because it would be weird and someone could make up the stories”

“Of course, Dude. I would help you” Yuri throws her arm to Taeyeon’s shoulders, “Well, you should help me to remake the soundtrack for the upcoming drama. You know, my cousin is being y because I procrastinate”

“Tyler is good enough for giving you extra time” Taeyeon laughs, “Well, I’m free after the last project so it would be okay”

They stop at the small restaurant. It’s still closed, they open at 6 PM until 2 AM, but Taeyeon knows it’s their destination. She opened the door to be greeted by a young man

“Sorry, Ma’am. We’re still closed” said the young man, looks like he’s the employee of this place

“Ah, I need to see Mrs. Hwang” said Taeyeon

“It’s okay, Jinki” Tiffany comes from behind and smiled to the visitors, “Ah, nice to meet you again, Yuri, Taeyeon”

The group of three are seating at one table near the entrance. Tiffany is owning this small restaurant and she needs to do it alone because her husband is passed away. She has two employees, Jongin and her sister, Hyoyeon also help her in their spare time

“How did you know this place?” Tiffany asked

“I asked Krystal’s friend” Taeyeon answered. She sips the tea which served by Tiffany, “She said Jongin lives here”

“Do you want to meet him?”

“I need to talk to you, as the parent”

“Then why are you bringing her?” Tiffany pointed at Yuri

“Wow wow wow, relax” Yuri raised her hands, “Sorry for the late introduction. I’m working in the same place with Taeyeon and I’m here for preventing if someone finds her and make up the stories. You know Jessica, right? She’s so scary”

Taeyeon face-palmed herself, Yuri is right but it’s not their reason to be there

“Jessica still refused to talk about it” said Taeyeon, “I just submitted Krystal’s resigned letter to the school, Jessica knew about it, Krystal too. I just want you to know about it and discussed about their future”

“What do you mean about their future?” Tiffany furrowed her eyebrows, “Your wife clearly stated that your daughter should stay with my son. I wonder why you still keep your daughter on the same house with your wife”

“Tiffany!” Taeyeon slams the table. She gritted her teeth and Yuri pats her back for calming her friend

“Are you insane, Fany?” Yuri glared at her ex

“I’m not” Tiffany sighed, “Tae, you are not the one who should bear this problem. Jongin said he wanted to be responsible but what do we expect from 17 years old high schooler?”

“At least, we need to talk about it” said Taeyeon

“How? I swear Jessica would be mad if she knows you are here”

“Jessica isn’t like that!” once again, Taeyeon burst in anger, she came here for a good reason but Tiffany and her ignorance makes her annoyed. She stood and pointed at Tiffany’s face, “You are wasting my time, Fany. Go educate your son for behaving!”

“How dare you pointing your finger to my mom!” suddenly Kai strides to Taeyeon but the older woman is fast enough to dodge. She swiftly moves herself and Kai just punched the air. Since he’s run from afar, he can’t control his speed and hit the table

“Kai!” Tiffany yelled, “Behave!”

“But, Mom…”

“Stop it” Tiffany stood, “Look, Tae, Yuri, I’m sorry about my son behavior and I’m sorry for my wrong words. Just, you could see that I can’t do anything” Tiffany sighed, “If you fill the lawsuit to us, I couldn’t do anything besides trying to pay the amount of money”

“We can talk it, Fany” Taeyeon inhaled a big sigh, “Jessica will be my business, I could take care of her. We are really need to talk about our children”

“I will stop my school and get a job, Mrs. Kim” said Kai suddenly, “I will show to you that I can make a living by myself”

“Don’t be so reckless” Taeyeon glared at the young boy, “You did the reckless thing once, don’t do it again”

“Mrs. Kim, I…”

“Stop” Taeyeon sighed, “Stop before I slap you in front of your mother”

“Tae…” Tiffany called her former friend, “I think, we need to talk another time”

“Sure. You know my number” said Taeyeon while walking away, “Let’s go, Yuri”

“Fany-ah, you should change your ignorance” said Yuri, right before Taeyeon and her leaving this place
