Taeyeon hugged Jessica tightly, not knowing what exactly happened to the younger girl. She is caressing her hair while whispering that everything is fine

When Taeyeon feels Jessica’s tremble reduced, she said she would turn the lamp. Jessica nods, and Taeyeon takes her body up to the couch. After Taeyeon turn those lamps, the living room, her room and Jessica’s, she is back and now she realized that Jessica turned so pale

“I’m here” instead of asking that Jessica is okay or not, Taeyeon decided to say that she’s there, with Jessica

Jessica just replied with another nod, and Taeyeon started to doubt her action. She scrubs her hair before she stood up, and it makes Jessica opens to speak

“Where will you go?” Jessica asked, almost whispered

“Kitchen. I will make you some tea, okay?”

“Do not take too long” Jessica whispered again

“I will not.”

Taeyeon hurriedly brews the chamomile tea; she knows its Jessica’s favorite since the latter bought some boxes of that. Jessica still sat with no words, she looks lost and Taeyeon feels Jessica’s eyes are afraid, in which she doesn’t know why Jessica being like that

“Jessica…” Taeyeon puts the mug and jumps into her, she draws Jessica’s index finger from her thumb because she scrapped it. It’s late because Jessica’s thumb is bleeding now, “You are bleeding”

Jessica gasped before looking at her injured finger. It takes three seconds before Jessica blinks her eyes

“Oh, …” Jessica cursed and hastily put her thumb into , trying to stop the bleed. Taeyeon runs into the bathroom and takes the first aid kit before  takes Jessica’s hand

“It’s okay” Taeyeon wiped the remained saliva with the tissue and put the betadine through the cotton. Jessica jerked because the sting feeling but Taeyeon wrapped her finger quickly and put it back

“I’m sorry,” said Jessica after Taeyeon tidy up the first aid kit, “I made a mess”

“Are you feeling any better?” Taeyeon ignored Jessica’s last sentence; she decided to drift the conversation

“I’m fine, thank you” Jessica nods, “Oh, you need to eat and drink your medicine. I’ll cook you something”

“Let’s eat outside,” said Taeyeon, catch Jessica’s wrist before she’s gone to the kitchen

“But you need to rest”

“Don’t worry” Taeyeon stood and pats Jessica’s head, “I’m better than before and I think we need to eat outside together”

Taeyeon and Jessica decided to had chicken soup for dinner. The ginger broth makes a fresh feeling inside and Taeyeon is happy because Jessica ate a lot

“Do we need to buy something?” Taeyeon asked the driver. Taeyeon insisted to drive but Jessica refused, she said Taeyeon still sick and Taeyeon won’t buy the moment before back

“That’s fine, you need to rest. Me too” said Jessica, eyes still on the road

“Jessica” Taeyeon takes Jessica’s hand from the steer, “I’m fine”

“Me too” Jessica nervously laughed; she never knows Taeyeon would hold her hand since Sunny always said that Taeyeon is a shy one

“Why don’t you trim your nails?” Taeyeon suddenly asked when they were about to arrive

“Ah, I just…” Jessica sighs, “Well, I said before that I’m so clumsy, right? I often missed the right path of my nails then I got hurt”

Silence engulfs after Jessica’s answer, both of them have no idea to continue their conversation

“I’ll do it for you” suddenly Taeyeon halted her steps when she was about to enter her room

“Thank you” Jessica smiled but entered her room, indicating that she won’t talk further with her roommate

“I heard you sick” Sooyoung plopped her beside Taeyeon who’s busy reading the next project materials

“Dehydration” Taeyeon replied, “Sunny told you?”

“Not really, but Jessica texted me yesterday. Also, she skipped the class with Sunny”

“Yep. I will skip my work for one week. This project caught me up” Taeyeon huffed while reading the task; they need to make a blueprint for a house

“I never thought you would complain” Sooyoung playfully knocked Taeyeon’s forehead

“Yah!”

“Anyway, is this good right? For having a roommate?”

“Stop teasing” Taeyeon halted her reading, “Anyway, last night Jessica went… berserk? Okay, I have no idea how to picture the moment”

“What do you mean?” Sooyoung put her book down and turned her seat. She gives all of attention to her friend

“She screamed and wailed, afraid of something, hurt her fingers” Taeyeon sighed, “And her eyes were lost”

“Have you asked her?”

“No” Taeyeon shook her head, “How could I? You saw with your own eyes on how she went berserk and trembled non-stop. I’m afraid if my intention will hurt her”

“You did a good job, dude” Sooyoung patted Taeyeon’s shoulders, “Maybe Sunny was right. You need to set your eyes to her. How about your feeling?”

“Huh?”
