Taeyeon and Jessica are sitting crossed legged at Taeyeon’s apartment, since the latter has no couch, they are just sitting comfortably at the floor mat

Jessica insisted to Taeyeon that she won’t go home before Taeyeon gives her a satisfying explanation about why she saved Jessica, and also, Jessica is waiting for Taeyeon’s answer from her sudden confession before

“Since when?” finally Taeyeon stop the deafening silence between them

“I’m not sure” Jessica rolled her eyes, the space between them is clear, why would Taeyeon made a space? Jessica isn’t sure too

“Why?”

“Isn’t it obvious, Tae?” Jessica clicked her tongue, she’s annoyed, “I think since you took me with your scooter and we had deep conversations back then”

Taeyeon falls silence again; makes Jessica curious if this love just one side for her

“Do you love me too, Taeyeon?” Jessica asked which makes Taeyeon jerked from her previous position

“I do” Taeyeon timidly nod, “Since the day you smiled at me after spilled your drink, I like you. But, after I knew that you are that Jessica who Yuri always said to all of people, I feel so little compared to her”

“Tae…” Jessica moves closer, now their knees meet, “Don’t…”

“I can’t help, Sica” Taeyeon bites her lower lips, preventing her tears even her voice already cracked, “I can’t stop loving yet I know I’m nothing”

“You are everything, Tae” Jessica cupped Taeyeon’s face, raise it so their eyes meet, “I love you. I never loved Yuri”

“But, how?”

“Our parents decided it, we just engaged and I have no idea where this relationship will go. Moreover, after Yuri did to me just now”

“I want protect you, Sica”

“Then protect me” Jessica leans closer to kissed Taeyeon’s lips, tenderly. Taeyeon responded by circled her arms on Jessica’s waist and pulled her closer

“Sorry for pushing you away before” said Taeyeon after they parted, “I just… not ready for stepping further”

“Don’t worry” Jessica pecks Taeyeon’s cheek, “Let’s do it slowly”

“Thank you”

It feels like a dream for Taeyeon; she has Jessica cuddled to her and she left some kisses to Jessica’s head

“I love you more, Jessica” said Taeyeon

Taeyeon smiled, even though her mind already flipped out since last night, she just happy. She’s happy for getting the chance to call Jessica ‘mine’

After some shy glances between them in the morning, Jessica insisted to stay for breakfast, albeit Taeyeon noticed her that her fridge is almost empty, Jessica shooed her away

“I’ve told you, I have nothing” said Taeyeon when Jessica put the plate on the table

“Some eggs and sausages are enough” Jessica poked Taeyeon’s nose. She takes chocolate milk carton and pours it into Taeyeon’s mug before herself

“You seem comfortable on my kitchen” Taeyeon chuckled

“Is that good?” Jessica takes a seat beside Taeyeon, “What’s your plan for today?”

“I have my tutoring schedule, since I was absent before” Taeyeon gulped the milk, “You?”

“Group assignment with Tiffany”

“Okay”

“I just want us to be together longer than this” Jessica pouted. Taeyeon laughed before reached forward to caressing Jessica’s hair

“Why are you so cute?”

“Yah!!” Jessica whined but stop immediately when Taeyeon leans closer for a kiss

“I’ll see you later, okay?”

“Pick me up with scooter” said Jessica

“I know” Taeyeon chuckled again, “I saw a white helmet on the backseat. You bought it?”

“Technically, Andrew bought it but I want to drive the scooter with you”

“Sure. Tell me when you done”

Jessica is beyond happy, Taeyeon spoiled her as much as she wanted to be. Yuri never allowed her to be this clingy, and the latter has no idea about affection except her show-off to her friends. Taeyeon is different, she’s so gentle and warm. She lets Jessica clung around her arm before entering her own car. Jessica also hugged Taeyeon tightly before separated

“I love you” said Taeyeon

“I love you more” Jessica pecks Taeyeon’s lips and closes the door

Both of Taeyeon and Jessica have no idea that someone was looking at their intimate moment. The latter grips the steer tightly before cursed under her breath

Back to present time

Jessica still holding Taeyeon’s arm when she felt something moving. She sits upright and her eyes finally find that Taeyeon moves her fingers. She takes no time to punches the button for calling the nurse

“Kim Taeyeon is moving her fingers” said Jessica as fast as she can

Soon after Jessica called, the doctor and nurses come into the ward and excuse Jessica to examine the patient. Jessica exited the ward to meet with Taeyeon’s parent, with her Dad, seems like they just had a conversation

“Jessica-ssi, Mr. Jung just told me the whole story about Taeyeon’s accident. We hope you don’t feel guilty. This is accident” said Mrs. Kim

“That’s fine, Mrs. Kim” Jessica takes Mrs. Kim’s hand, “It was my fault and I need to pay this”

“You don’t need to pay the whole bill, Jessica-ssi”

“I’m really fine, Mrs. Kim. If I didn’t take this action, I admitted I will feel guilty on the rest of my life. Please, do not ever think that you owe me something”

“Thank you”

Jessica smiled and hug the older woman, she hopes for the best

“Jessica, can we talk” Mr. Jung interrupted their session. He smiled to his daughter before bowed to Taeyeon’s parent

“Sure, Dad”

“Thank you, Dad” said Jessica when they seated at Mr. Jung’s office. The first daughter of him is taking something from his fridge and drinks it immediately

“Yep” Mr. Jung shrugs his shoulders, “Now, what will you do?”

“I want to cancel my engagement”

“You know that would be hard, right?”

“I know” Jessica sighed, “But this is too much”

“I still have no idea why you said that Yuri caused this all. I know she hit Taeyeon with her car but the police found the brake scratch on the road so Yuri is free”

“Even though the police charged her, her mother would make her free no matter what” Jessica crossed her arms, “Dad, she made me like a by offered me to her friend”

“What?!”
