“But you need the roommates, right?” Sunny asked Taeyeon when they had a lunch together with Sunny’s girlfriend, Sooyoung

“You said she has a problem yet you give her to me?” Taeyeon furrowed her eyebrows. Sunny just offered her “a roommate”, which is currently living with Sunny. The latter was having a panic attack, regarding of her confession to Sunny yesterday and she felt guilty for living with Sunny and her family

“Listen up, Taeng. I’m trying to help both of you” Sunny put her chopstick, “She’s living alone in Korea since her parent moved back to State and seeing her current state, I couldn’t let myself to see her living alone. I trust you, Taeng”

Taeyeon sighed heavily, she got a financial problem currently. Since one year ago when she started went to college, she’s living in a small apartment which owned by her former neighbor back in Jeonju, her hometown. The neighbor was helped Taeyeon’s family much back then so her family owned a favor, so after Jiwoong, Taeyeon’s brother graduated and Taeyeon went to college, she would be living in the same apartment. Last week, her parent decided to cut her expenses because Jiwoong had been resigned from his current job, still looking for a new one, and Haeyeon, her sister entered high school. She needs more money to keep living in the same place

“Choi Sooyoung, give me an idea!” Taeyeon elbowed her friend. Sooyoung and her attend the same course, Architecture Engineering at Yonsei while Sunny is attending Business Management, same campus.

“Well” Sooyoung gulped her last bubble on her tea, “I suggest you to accept Sunny’s offer. The small apartment has two rooms, right? And you don’t need to move out then makes your parent uncomfortable with your neighbor. Win-win solution”

“Also, you had a garage for a car in which you don’t have any. She can park her car over there” Sunny added, “Please, Taeyeon”

“Okay, okay” Taeyeon raise her hands in defeat, “I have no choice and I hope she’s comfortable enough with my silence”

“She’s not that talkative, don’t worry” Sunny smiled

“And you said, she used to be Tiffany’s best friend?”

“Yep. Oh, come on! Don’t say you still have a crush to Tiffany?”

“Are you?” Sooyoung wider her eyes and laughs, “I thought you just joked”

“Shut up, Giant” Taeyeon glared, “Not really but you know, right? I used to like Tiffany”

“It reminds me that Jessica had a panic attack after got into fight with Tiffany” Sunny clicked her fingers, “I don’t know, but Jessica refused to tell me and I hope she will ready to tell me in the future”

“Maybe she has her reason” Sooyoung gave an input, “On my opinion, she’s changed a lot after moved out from Tiffany’s house”

“Oh, really?” Taeyeon shrugged, “Why?”

“I told you we don’t know” Sooyoung knocked Taeyeon’s forehead, “Despite her silent demeanor, she’s lovely for having around. Don’t worry. Sunny took her when we had dates and she’s funny”

“On top of all, she takes medication and I trust you, Taeyeon. For looking after her” said Sunny; she’s serious and Taeyeon has no choice for not accepting the offer

“Thanks for helping” the brunette, who introduced as Jessica Jung smiled to Taeyeon. Sooyoung and Sunny also helped her but today is the first day Jessica and Taeyeon seeing each other

“That’s fine” Taeyeon scrubbed her nape, she feels nervous out of sudden, is it because of Jessica’s smile? Or her sweet fragrance who passing by her nose when the latter tied her hair up? Or her calm voice? Taeyeon’s not sure

“All set!” Sooyoung shouted from Jessica’s bedroom. Taeyeon’s small apartment consisted of two bedrooms, one sharing bathroom, small kitchen and living room. The whole building only consisted four complex and one rooftop so the ambience is calm, not really noisy as in Seoul would be

“Thank you, I will order lunch” Jessica replied, “Taeyeon, what do you want to eat?”

“Whatever that you want to eat” Taeyeon replied in a heartbeat, making Jessica chuckled at her

“Jjajangmyeon!” Sooyoung shouted again while jumping into the living room, “Moving out should be celebrated with noddle, right???”

“Shut up” Sunny slapped Sooyoung’s arms, “Jjampong would be good”

“Aish, Bunny”

“I’ll order it together” Jessica chuckled again, “Taeyeon, what do you want to eat?”

“Jjajangmyeon is fine”

“Okay”

After a lunch with full of laughter, of course it was from Sunny and Sooyoung who always cheering up the situation, Jessica and Taeyeon were left in the living room. Jessica tidied the plate and other stuffs while Taeyeon just looking at her

“Sorry for the bother” said Jessica after she’s done

“What? I’m fine” Taeyeon jerked

“Sunny told me that you are like to living alone” Jessica takes a seat beside Taeyeon on the couch, “Well, I spent almost my entire life with my family so I’m not used to it”

“Where is your family?”

“Back to Los Angeles” Jessica sighed, “My grandparent is sick and no one would handle their business so they moved back and let the Seoul office to another capable person. I came there usually just to checking some stuffs”

“You have a bright future” said Taeyeon, no wonder why Sunny is close with Jessica since their high school because rich people will attach rich people, right?

“Thank you” Jessica chuckled, she hides her blushed cheeks by hung her head down, avoiding Taeyeon’s gaze, “What about you?”

“Came to Seoul with so much dreams” Taeyeon laughed, “Engineer is my dream since toddler because my Dad was the one before he’s retired”

“So, your Dad is your role-model?”

“Yep”

“I heard you are having part time? Where is it?”

“Ah, Joy Coffee and Eatery. Near campus”

“I often come here” Jessica exclaimed while smiling, “That’s Yoona’s, right?”

“Yeah” Taeyeon nods, her mind is full with question ‘why Jessica knew Yoona?’

“Yoona is daughter of my father’s friend and my junior”
