It’s all started 6 months ago, after Jessica bought the shirt for Taeyeon. She gave it through Krystal and also, at that time she always doubted herself about Yuri

“But really, Jessi. You are so weird” said Tiffany, her best friend since the day one at college. Both of them attended same course and became best friend because of their American upbringing

“I know” Jessica sighs, “But how could I turn down my parent? I mean, we’ve been together for more than three years”

“If you can call it ‘together’” Tiffany makes a quote sign with her hands, “You never tried to be with someone else”

“How could I do that when all of time Yuri will boost our relationship with me” Jessica huffed, “At the same time she never shows her love to me”

“You need to say it to her. She took you for granted”

“I tried once and she promised to change”

“And you believed that?”

“Not anymore” Jessica shrugs her shoulders, “I really need to push her button for changing or we should end this relationship”

“Remember that both of your parent wants you to marry her after she’s done with co-assistant and you got your profession tittle”

“Which mean one and half year” Jessica laughed, “I need to see her”

Jessica walked to the Faculty of Medicine; she wants to ask Yuri for watching her mock trials at this weekend. Yuri never likes academic atmosphere like mock trials or debate, which are Jessica’s activities since her first year

Jessica was about to call Yuri’s phone when someone catches her eyes, someone with the familiar shirt

“Taeyeon-ssi!”

“Oh…” the shorter girl turns her head and finds the source, “Jessica-ssi”

“Such a coincidence that you wear the shirt” Jessica chuckles, “I’m sorry about that”

“I insisted that that’s okay” Taeyeon smiled, “I was surprised when Krystal suddenly came and gave me this, she said from her sister and it needs 2 minutes before I realized that you are Krystal’s sister”

Jessica mentally frowned on how Taeyeon addressed Krystal and her, sounds so different

“What are you doing here, Jessica-ssi?”

“I was looking for Yuri, Kwon Yuri”

“She might be hanging out behind that building” Taeyeon points one building across them, “DO you want me to accompany you?”

“If it not being bother” said Jessica

Taeyeon glances at her watch, “It’s fine. I’m done with tutoring today”

“Taeyeon-ssi…” Jessica called her companion, seems like she’s a quiet kid than Jessica

“Yeah?”

“Does everybody could be tutor? I mean, I never saw Yuri being tutor before”

“Not everyone can” Taeyeon chuckles, “I don’t know about your relationship with Yuri-ssi but not anyone can. It depends on their GPA and the offer from the professor”

Jessica nods and thinks deeply, Yuri’s father is one of great surgeon at the university hospital. Both of their dads are part of academic committees of their university so they often being the supervisor of young doctors or co-assistant doctors. So, it would be so weird if no one offered Yuri to tutoring her junior

“I wonder about Yuri actually, why doesn’t she spend her senior year with something more useful like tutoring”

“Like I said before, not everyone can. I know she’s the daughter of Doctor Kwon Wori, but still, I thought people at my faculty are professional enough for it”

“I see” Jessica nods again before drifts her eyes to particular group who had a fun below the big tree

“Aish, they smoke again” Taeyeon hissed, “Jessica-ssi, I think Yuri-ssi is over there”

“What does it mean? They are smoking?”

“Yep”

“But, are doctors forbidden to smoke?”

“Technically, yes. It will affect us so much, but some rebels would be there too. Like Yuri-ssi”

Jessica gritted her teeth; this is the secret that Yuri never bothered to tell her. What if her own dad know? What if Jessica’s dad knows about it?

“Taeyeon-ssi, please follow me there”

“Ah, I won’t. They are bully, I’m afraid” Taeyeon shivered

“You don’t need to be afraid of. I’m here”

“But…”

“Please…” Jessica pleaded and Taeyeon has no choice, so she follows Jessica to the group even though she’s so scared of her life

“Kwon Yuri!” suddenly Jessica yelled, which makes the group stopped their activities

“Je…Jessica” Yuri panicked, she had the cigarette between her fingers and she never expected that her fiancée would be caught her red-handed

“Are you out of mind?!”

“I… I can explain” Yuri tried to reaches Jessica’s hand, to be yanked away by her

“No. Don’t you dare to touch me with your dirty hand” Jessica turned her heels, “Don’t follow me, I hate you”

Jessica suddenly takes Taeyeon’s arm and before the shorter girl could respond, Jessica already dragged her away

“Jessica-ssi” Taeyeon tugs her arm which held by Jessica and makes the brunette stops on her track

“What?!” Jessica turned her head and her face looks so annoyed

“Umh, where will you take me? I mean, we already left the building” Taeyeon’s eyes flicker and points their intertwined hands

“I’m sorry!” Jessica abruptly releases Taeyeon’s hand

“It’s fine” Taeyeon smiles, “If you need a companion, I’m free”

“Take me somewhere, Taeyeon-ssi”

Taeyeon never expected that she should bring Jessica out of campus, moreover, she doesn’t bring another helmet with her

“Yeah. Two blocks down” Taeyeon pointed to the south side, “Sorry I couldn’t bring you somewhere far since I didn’t have spare helmet with me”

“Sorry for the bother” Jessica plays with the end of ice cream’s cover, makes Taeyeon chuckles internally
