They might have been going out for almost a month now, but that didn't mean that Yujin has already gotten used to having Minjoo as part of her afternoon schedule.

As a morning show host, she usually has lots of free time in the afternoon. If she's not running and burning calories, she'd be at the local library reading an interesting book or at a museum looking at paintings.

But, that was before. Lately, she would find herself walking into a building 20 minutes away from her apartment, bringing in different kinds of food or gifts.

Today was no exception. With a heart that wouldn't calm down and a bright smile plastered on her face, she freely walked in to the now familiar building, a brown paper bag in hand, going straight to the cozy office located on the fifth floor.

The said office has floor-to-ceiling glass windows, mini succulents lined up in one corner, and an artistic coat stand near the door, which Yujin finds charming and extremely to her taste.

"Hey, beautiful," she greeted, seeing the lovely figure who was so engrossed at whatever was on her computer that she didn't notice a familiar figure entering the room.

"Busy?" she continued, placing the bag of food on top of the wooden desk.

Minjoo slowly looked up, and a smile immediately graced her lips as soon as she saw who it was.

"I was starting to think that you've already forgotten me," she concluded, whining playfully with a pout.

"That's never gonna happen," Minjoo replied, leaning back on her chair. "Also, didn't we just see each other yesterday?"

Yujin just crossed her arms in response.

"Come here." Minjoo tapped her lap, indicating for her to sit on it.

She couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, her head turning to the glass wall just in time to see a junior designer passing by with folders in hand.

Minjoo noticed Yujin's hesitation, so she took the control, pressed a button, and the blinds were suddenly activated to block the window.

"Oh. Wow. You can do that? How come you never do that before?"

Minjoo laughed at the other girl's purity. "So?"

"But what if someone suddenly enters the room?"

"Only Sakura, and now you, can enter here without knocking," Minjoo said nonchalantly. She pointed at the phone on the side of her desk and added, "We do have that for a reason."

After a while, with a bit of contemplation, Yujin eventually succumbed to temptation. It's not everyday that her girlfriend asks her to sit on her lap.

Girlfriend. She almost choked at the thought of calling Minjoo her girlfriend. They still haven't talked about the status of their relationship, let alone put a label on each other, but she wished they would.

She walked slowly to the other side of the wooden desk, destructing herself from any girlfriend thoughts and focusing on the hands that would soon wrap her waist.

Slowly, she sat on Minjoo's lap.

"Your hands are really warm," she observed.

She was sitting sideways on Minjoo's lap, so she could clearly see the way the interior designer's face lit up in amusement after she voiced out her observation.

"Or maybe yours are just cold," Minjoo replied.

"There's that. But I really think your hands are warm. At least warmer than mine."

"Really?"

As if to prove a point, she cupped Minjoo's face with both of her hands and looked straight into her eyes.

"Wah. Those are really cold."

"Yah!" she squeezed the interior designer's face with her palms. "It's not that cold."

"Ewliew, you jush ajmitted how mine wash waym and yows izz cowld. I downt ayndeshtand."

She released the face from the squeeze and said in mock irritation, "Yeah, I know, but the way you reacted is way too—"

She could not finish her sentence since Minjoo suddenly tightened her embrace, their chests touching, landing on the latter's nose.

Time stopped, both of them too surprised to make any movements.

Minjoo was the first to come to her senses. "Hungry?" she asked with a grin.

Yujin immediately pulled away. "Y-y-you—"

Minjoo raised her eyebrows, still grinning. "You did bring food, right?"

Yujin couldn't respond. She found herself winding her arms around Minjoo's neck and burying her face in the latter's shoulder out of embarrassment.

Minjoo couldn't help but chuckle. "You are being really cute right now. Do you know that?"

"No."

Minjoo was still chuckling. "Look at me."

"I can't."

"Come on." Minjoo started rubbing her hand on the younger girl's back, willing her to look at her eyes.

"Stop it, Minjoo."

"Is that what you really want me to do?"

The door opened and closed, and Minjoo's hands froze, midway to patting her hair.

"Oh, please. Can you two just kiss already?"

Yujin felt Minjoo stiffen beneath her. The voice sounded familiar. Sakura?

"Wonyoung, what are you doing here?"

Wonyoung? Yujin immediately lifted her head and turned her gaze at the door.

"I'm sorry. Sakura told me Yujin's here, too, so I got excited. She said I don't need to knock since you don't lock your door, anyway."

The tall girl genuinely looked apologetic and Yujin was conflicted on what to feel.

At the corner of her eyes, she could see Minjoo with a huge smile on her face, but she wasn't sure if it was sincere or she was just feigning it to appear like everything was okay.

"Oh. It's okay," Minjoo assured the tall girl.

"Awesome," Wonyoung's sad face quickly turned into a happy one. "I brought food!"

Minjoo loosened her hold, as if to allow Yujin to decide whether to stand up or stay where she was. She chose the latter. The other gave her a questioning look, but Yujin chose to ignore it.

"Are those chicken?" Yujin found herself asking Wonyoung, her hands still wrappe
