The land was ruled by two kingdoms, each split perfectly in half. One kingdom ruled the mountains. The other, the sea. The mountains included the wide range of boreal forests, thick deciduous trees  heavy in the area with woodland animals rustling about. The other kingdom had a large expanse of salt water, filled with sea creatures and herbs. As well as the grasslands, that bordered the sea. Plentiful crops were grown for a filling harvest. The kingdoms were separated by a shallow river that was easily crossed, but dangerous once on the other side. A single slip, and danger would arise. The two kingdoms were not on the same side, petty arguments and small differences, making the two kingdoms despise eachother. Only when at the special gathering island, in a lake where the river ended, would peace finally appear. And so who would think that such two kingdoms, would have forbidden love arise.

The kingdoms fought when a child had gone missing, neither kingdom giving into the other. The grieving queen died of depression, misery overtaking her heart. The child became forever lost, the kingdom mourning in grief. The other kingdom secretly raising the child, for a weapon to defeat the opposing kingdom.

So... How is it?? I decided to make a new story rather than updating my first one, what a good author I am XDDDD I'm not sure when I'll actually update this though, but I hope you all enjoy!! <3

Characters:

Kingdom of the Land (Kim Kingdom):

1st Son - Donghyun:

Donghyun is the eldest son of the rulers of the Kim Kingdom. He is a strong leader, but can still be fun and somewhat carefree. He used to have a close friendship with Hyunseong until their kingdoms fought so badly that they had to go their separate ways. He is extremely close with Minwoo and Kwangmin, but despises his parents.

2nd Son - Kwangmin:

The second oldest in the kingdom, but acts like the youngest. Childish but quiet, not very many people can understand him. Is favoured by his parents almost as much as Minwoo. Loves his parents so much that he despises the other kingdom because they do. Spends much of his time conversing with himself due to his distant personality with many.

3rd Son - Minwoo:

Is the youngest and possibly, most mature. Has a somewhat innocent nature, but is violent when angry. Easily angered and quick to take action due to emotions; he is someone that no one wants to upset. Out of all the members of his family he hates the Lee family the most. He is prone to fighting the most with Jeongmin. Ironically enough, he seems most interested in the other family's activities and tends to dream of the ocean, while looking into the distance. Most loyal to his family and kingdom.

Kingdom of the Sea (Lee Kingdom): *I like the last name Lee better than Shim so I used Jeongmin's last name*

1st Son - Hyunseong:

The eldest of the Lee family. He is kind and caring, showing a loving image to others. Though he tends to be quiet upon the first meeting, he is quite loud and likes to laugh a lot once you get to know him. Misses being able to laugh about random, unimportant things with Donghyun, but is still able to be happy with his beloved siblings. Gets touched (emotionally) easily and grieves every time he thinks of his deceased mother.

2nd Son - Jeongmin:

The middle child of the family who gets along easily with others. He spreads joy wherever he goes and likes to talk a lot. He is usually strong and confident, but feels nervous around certain people ;). Loves being near the ocean and playing with his brothers near or in it. Despises the Kim family for being the indirect cause of his mother's death as he was the closest one to his mother and had always clung onto her. He wants revenge in the Kim Kingdom but due to Hyunseong, also wishes their kingdoms could combine to create peace.

3rd Son - Youngmin:

Cheerful and optimistic, he is the only brother that has no emotions towards the Kim Kingdom whatsoever. He is indifferent to the two kingdoms relationship and enjoys what he already has. Likes to bathe in the sea and loves his brothers. He'd prefer it if his family wasn't so gloomy at times, but tries to lighten up things with the company of Jeongmin. Knows nothing of why his mother died.
