It never failed to make my heart flutter and my lips to smile every time I see you every morning, also smiling at me. I can never find something more perfect than this, waking up next to you.

Is it because of how bright you look when you beam at me? You always looks so gorgeous even after waking up. The fact that I'm so in love with you? Or maybe it was both.

Then you'd rain my face with your sweet kisses while greeting me a good morning in your husky voice that made my knees weak. Thoughts of how lucky and in love I was to you cloud my mind when you do all those things.

I wouldn't even noticed that you already got up to prepare for our breakfast. You'd teased me that I looked stupid before running out of the room, laughing that silly laugh of yours that I wanted to hear in every corner of our apartment.

I'd get up to follow you and would silently watch you cook while you sometimes take a peak at me, flashing me small smiles along the way. Every time that happened my heart beat some more, as if calling out your name.

Can you hear it? I hope you did...

...or maybe not.

Because if you did.

Then maybe you would still be here with me.

Smiling to me when we woke up.

Planting kisses on my face.

Cooking us breakfast.

But now it was all in the past.

I know I'm not in the right place to complain, after all, it was me who gave up on us first.

I wasted us. And instead of your sweet kiss the only thing that remained was the bitter taste of regret.

Should've believed in us.

While we existed.

Cause now the only thing that I'm holding is the memories of us...
