It has been a few months since Kris gave up on dating, figuring out that no one would succumb to his orders like Hanbyul did. Following that, he has been focusing on his company and managed to grow it into a plausible business entity in Australia known by the locals. Aiming to strive further through international relations, he was busy planning for a merge with some trading company.

On a calm weekend that Kris decided would be a great time for him to relax before working off for the company again, the television did not really help him with the plan.

“…Na Jaemin and Shin Hanbyul.”

Kris choked on his water when he heard the name from the news, sharply turning his head towards the television to check if it was indeed the Shin Hanbyul that he knew.

“…the rumour seems to be proven right due to the viral pictures of the two going on a date. South Korea is expected to have better economy in the near future from their marriage and joint venture…”

“Marriage?” Kris gaped, absolutely stunned that she managed to smile at another man-- probably even the brightest smile he had ever seen.

“Ey must be an arranged marriage.” He told himself as he kept on eyeing the pictures on the tv screen, feeling some kind of a fire building inside him when he saw how great she looked with him. Enraged, he turned off the tv before slamming the glass in his hand to take a bath—trying to calm down.

Looking at how positive the image of the couple to the level of being reported on international news channel, Kris couldn’t help but to feel bothered.

How could she move on just like that? After all the things I had done for her?

Kris undid the robe he was doning, throwing it onto the bed before entering the shower.

She was supposed to fall only for me. Marriage? And with a stranger at that? There was no way Hanbyul would be able to do that. 

He snapped the silver faucet to the side, feeling the water stream down his flamed self.

It must be for show.

Kris dunked his head under the shower, trying to assure himself that there wasn’t anything going on between Hanbyul and the guy because he knew that she would always cower in front of him and submit to only him-- Kris Wu.

The line rang a few times before Kris answered, gruffly greeting the other end. "What do you want?"

It was bad enough that the news about Hanbyul had been bothering him since morning, and he had to interact with Gyuri during the night? 

Gyuri shut her eyes, feeling the judging eyes on her back as she strode pass Shinsege-- a shopping mall. "Hanbyul." 

Kris got up from his seat, ignoring the laptop in front of him at the mention of the name, "Yeah, what's with her?"

"They're really together." Gyuri said, causing Kris to frown.

"They?" He was already distressed from the news but the only thing that kept him sane was the fact that Hanbyul had never been okay with men before this, and Kris' guts were telling him that he was still the only man for Hanbyul.

"Yes!" Gyuri pressed, glaring at the people passing her as if they caused her anger, "I went to Jaemin's office this morning and guess what? He didnt even bat an eyelash when he saw me. Not only that, your beloved Hanbyul even dragged Jaemin away from me, telling me they slept together and that I was nothing special." She whine-ranted.

Kris burst out laughing, "Oh my, yeah for sure. Why would you, mean anything to him?"

The girl roughly hissed, annoyed with his answer, "I'm telling you, she likes Jaemin for sure."

"No, you dont know anything. I bet she wont be able to stay with him for long. She is meant to live alone." Kris said, reaching for the water beside his bed. "Or at least with me. Only me." He hummed before grinning at the thought.

"I told you: she took Jaemin away from me. They bought rings and stuff together--like a couple. I swear to god. " She was so frustrated that she even pulled off a stunt in hope that Jaemin would be lured.

"They made it on the news, I saw that. But you have to face it, if Hanbyul wasnt even there, he still wouldnt give a damn about
