She was afraid. She did want to take that dive but it was just like one in uncharted waters. The sun was there high in the sky. Her skin was twinkling in the sunlight. Drops of water were streaming on her arms and legs. SinB caught herself biting her lips and passing her tongue on them at the view. When her eyes met the ones covered by the sunglasses, she suddenly got shy and looked down. But it was worse as her eyes landed on her fit body covered by a thin bikini. SinB jumped on her deckchair  so much so that she almost fell from it when the girl suddenly jumped in the pool. Her dive was just magnificent and SinB was just in admiration as she didn’t know how to swim at all. 

• You are drooling, SinB. pointed a man.

• Oh … sir, I am sorry. I should probably go back to work. She was so embarrassed. 

• Yeah, you should because as your boss I don’t accept that my employees chill on the deckchair and look at my clients as if they were ice cream they wanted to eat so badly. 

• I wasn’t looking at anybody. lied SinB 

• You weren’t, you were fantasizing about the girl who just dived in the pool. 

SinB felt herself blushing even more. It was only her second day of work there but she surely had already made herself look like a or something like that. SinB decided to work this summer at the hotel in a station seaside in order to have some money for her study. Indeed she was only twenty years old but she had to pay all her study by herself. SinB was a waitress at the hotel bar which was just in front of the poolside. 

SinB admitted that she had a soft spot for woman wearing swimsuit especially bikinis. That girl who just dive in caught her eyes because of that. But also because of her perfect and very white body, her curve, … and the sunglasses were making her look so hot. When she took them out of her eyes, SinB couldn’t help but notice her beautiful and y stare.
The problem was that SinB was pretty shy, she was too afraid to take the leap and come talk to her. It was like this every time. But deep down she had a pretty naughty mind. She was not that innocent even if she had still some childish reactions or thoughts sometimes. Hopefully, SinB was like a magnet which means that people wanted to approach her despite her cold aura. And she was very popular without doing anything for it. At first she wasn’t interested in girls but girls made her that way. They insisted and behaved with her as if she was an « oppa » which scared her at first. But she somehow gave in to them and little by little she started to feel really excited at the view of a beautiful female body. SinB may look shy and somehow it was the case but she had already made out with lots of women. At first, it was because the girls looked so desperate that she accepted to please them but then she started to get addicted to it. However, SinB was almost always on top. 

She went back to her work but even behind the counter, her eyes were glued on the swimming girl. Then when the latter, still in the water, went to the edge of the pool; SinB couldn’t help but see a siren. SinB managed to do her work properly even with her mind and eyes focused on the girl. But when the girl went towards the bar which means towards her, it became a mess. Plates and glasses fell on the floor. 

• How come a clumsy girl like you work as a bartender ? a giggling voice spoke. 

SinB stood up from the floor with the broken glasses and she was so surprised of the voice’s owner that the glasses fell again on the floor. It was the girl who was swimming in the pool. She was smiling at her and SinB swore she had never seen a smile this gentle. The y stare had been replaced by an eye smile. But when the glass fell again, a worried look appeared on her face. 

• Oh … do you need help ? she asked.

SinB wanted to reply but she stuttered making herself surely look like a fool. 

• Oh … n-no I d-d-don’t. 

The other girl ignored her answer and went beside her. She helped SinB to clean her mess. 

• Th-thanks … She eventually said. 

• Yerin and your welcome. answered the girl with a bright eye smile. She looked so friendly and totally different from before at the pool. 

• Yerin ? 

• It is my name. And you, you’re SinB.  asked Yerin

• How did you know ? asked SinB surprised. 

• It is written on your uniform. replied the smiling girl with still the same bright tone as she pointed at SinB’s shirt.

SinB looked at her shirt and she felt like an idiot. 

• Oh yeah. I forget it was written on it. 

Not only was Yerin beautiful but she was also smart. Now that SinB thought of it, Yerin reminded her of her nerd classmates in a way. Except that the nerd girls at school were so desperate to be touched. So much it was almost annoying for SinB.

• No problem, how old are you ? Yerin asked out of the blue. 

• I am twenty years old …

• Oh you’re still young. I bet you attend college and you are only here for a summer job. 

• Yeah … you are right. And you, who are you? SinB was slapping herself in her mind for asking such a lame question. But to her surprise, Yerin welcomed very well the question. She looks so confortable. 

• I am twenty-two years old and I am spending my vacations here.  

• Oh, for how long ? 

• Two weeks but there is only one left.

• Oh … SinB couldn’t hide her disappointment. She was sure that if she had the gut to take the dive earlier she would have had a better chance to know more Yerin. 

As if Yerin could read her thoughts, she claimed: 

• Yeah I know, there is not much time left but it is okay. Actually we can do so much thing in so little time.  

Yerin was clearly an optimist. She had this bright aura. SinB was just the opposite. If Yerin were to be the sun, SinB would be the moon. They’re both bright but they don’t have the same intensity. 

SinB nodded shyly and Yerin’s smile became even more brighter. SinB resumed her work but Yerin stayed with her. Yerin was sitting at the bar and her eyes were glued on SinB. The latter tried to forget the presence of Yerin in order to do her work properly. But it was hard. Whenever her eyes landed accidentally on Yerin, they were welcomed the famous eyesmile. When SinB finished her work towards 6 p.m, Yerin was still there. 

• You are tired, aren’t you ? Yerin pointed out. 

• Oh yeah … 

• You should take a nap, and after if you want we will go to the hotel nightclub.

• Oh ... well, I don’t think it is a good idea. I am working at the hotel, I don’t want them to see me in the club. 

• But, you do sleep and eat at the hotel, don’t you ? 

• Yeah, it is in my contract. 

• Don’t worry, I am sure you can go to the hotel nightclub. No one will say anything to you. reassured Yerin. 

SinB eventually nodded. 

• When will we meet ? asked Yerin. 

• Oh … SinB didn’t want to take a nap anymore so she suggested: 

• You can stay with me. I am planning to eat first. 

• Okay. Yerin responded with a bright tone. 

Then they went to the hotel restaurant. SinB was always eating alone before, but now with Yerin she really enjoyed her meal. Indeed, Yerin was always talking and joking. SinB was not so shy anymore because Yerin was very friendly.
After the dinner, they went to SinB’s room in the hotel. Yerin was a very curious girl she asked lots of question but they were never embarrassing or too personal. At least, it didn’t bother SinB. It was funny how they were already so confortable with each other despite their recent first meeting. Yerin was the main reason. She was still there when SinB chose her clothes for the party. 

• Oh you look perfect ! she said when SinB wore the clothes she chose by herself. 

• Thanks. said SinB with a shy tone. 

• SinB ? asked Yerin all of sudden shyly. 

• Yeah ? 

• Can you help me to choose what to wear for tonight. I fear I will not look as good as if I choose by myself. 

SinB nodded and followed Yerin to her room. SinB noticed that there were plenty of beautiful clothes. She did wonder why Yerin said that she will not look good but she decided not to ask her. 

• What style do you want ? SinB asked her. 

• I like everything so you choose. 

• Oh ok. 

SinB chose a black dress. 

• Wow, it is y. pointed out Yerin while giggling. But I like it.  

SinB blushed:

• Oh, if you say so. But I can change …

• No it is fine. I love it. 

Yerin went in the bathroom to change herself. When she came back, SinB stood there open-mouthed. The Yerin who appeared right in front of her was just so different from the cute and bright smiling girl. Now she was just like that girl who dived in the pool, looking just so y.
They went to the club. The place was crowded but SinB didn’t even pay attention to it. She was just having so much fun with Yerin. SinB was a good dancer and she admitted that Yerin was also a pretty good one. 

• I am thirsty, said Yerin. 

• Oh me too. But I will not drink too much, you know why. 

Yerin nodded and went to buy a few drinks. Despite her words, SinB drank a lot. Yerin was smiling at her the whole time. But SinB didn’t know if it was the alcohol or not, Yerin’s smile turned into a really nasty smirk since the moment SinB got drunk. The rest was a blur. She felt herself being dragged towards a dark spot. She knew she hit the wall but someone tried to hold her before she crashed into it. Then she felt something wet against her skin. As she was closing her eyes she couldn’t tell what it was. She also felt fingertips roaming on her, especially behind her neck, caressing her hair while holding her closer. She felt opened up and her breathing becoming raspy. A few moments later, she felt herself being dragged. She had trouble walking. She heard the sound of an elevator. Then, there were this wet sensation on her skin and lips again. The sound of an automatic door and she was being dragged again. She felt something on her pocket and heard the sound of keys. The next thing she knew, she fell on something as soft as a mattress. Times passed by and her skins was more and more freed from any clothing. She could have felt cold but in the contrary the contact with another warm skin was making her feel hotter. She heard sounds and she took time to realize it was coming from her own mouth. She didn’t know if it was alcohol or not but at one point the volume of the sounds went louder. She felt something really strong was coming and when it came, she passed out. 

SinB opened her eyelids and the sun welcomed her. She tried to move but she couldn’t feel her legs. She felt dry. Because of her hoarse voice, it was like she caught a cold. She looked around her. She was in her room, more precisely on her bed. And she was alone. She had a hangover that’s for sure. She stood up hardly then suddenly she remembered. Last night, she danced with Yerin, then they had a few drinks. But what happened after was just too blurry in SinB’s memory. She was sure Yerin was with here the whole night. She looked at her body: she was wearing her usual pajamas and nothing looked wrong, except her voice and her lips unusually swollen. Did she kiss Yerin ? She looked at her watch and she slapped herself in her mind: she was late for work. 

When she arrived at the bar, she tried to look for Yerin in the pool but she was nowhere to be found. SinB found that very strange as since Yerin is there she had seen her everyday at the pool. At the end of the day, SinB felt empty, Yerin didn’t come. She went to Yerin’s room but she was told it was empty. Did Yerin leave already ? It was very weird because Yerin told her that she was still there for a week. Disappointed and sad, SinB returned to her room. When she opened the door, a piece of paper was on the floor. She took it, it was a short letter. 

Dear SinB, 

Thank you for everything. I really enjoyed the little time we had together. I know I lied to you but  I wanted you to take the dive so I had to. 

I told you that we could do much thing in so little time. I think you know that, now ;) 

I already miss you but you know what I miss more ? 

I won’t tell you but the answer is in your memory if, of course, you remember hihi

Yerin aka the girl diving in the pool

So she left. She lied and she left without having said goodbye. She didn’t even give her her phonenumber. SinB felt disappointed and somehow played. But it was her fault if she had taken the dive earlier, maybe things would have been different.
