It was a snowy end of December. Mark came out of his hotel not far away from Tiananmen Square, located across from Forbidden City which is well-known in Beijing. He wears a black leather jacket, beanies, hands covered with the only thin glove. He walked on the busy street, the pair of sharp eyes hidden behind the black sunglasses.

In front of the luxury hotel, he halted his step ignored the 5°C cold. Without thinking much, he entered the lobby then gets the elevator, pressed button 13. However, his target stayed on floor 15. When arrived, he continued by climbing the stairs. He took a peek behind the door, there are three bodyguards guarding outside the luxury room.  

Mark took out a pistol complete with a silencer. The three bodyguards were shocked when he opened the door. Had no time to act, three bullets come out through the barrel without any waste. One bullet The sound of laughter and women’s whimper can be heard from inside the room. Without wasting time, Mark opens the door. Everyone inside the room was shocked. The two women screamed loudly. Refused to tolerate, Mark shoots them, the women lying on the carpet, stained with blood in half- condition, forehead of each leak hit by the bullet. His target, the man in his 50s was trembling with fear.

“Please... don’t kill me.”

“Mr. Jung? Mr. Jung from Korea?” Mark asked even though he knew already who that man is.

"Yes... Yes..." Mr Kim nodded.

“Mr. Kim and his family send a regard.”

“You... you’re Korean?” Mr. Jung frowns.

Mark pressed the trigger. Bullet pierces through his forehead. Mr. Jung’s body falls backwards. Glass in hand shattered to the ground. Mark makes sure his target already died. A piece of money with a note $1USD plastered on the forehead. Then, he steps out of the room without leaving a trail but left behind the ‘Memento' as a style of murder.
