“Hey hyung…” Turning towards his left where Jaemin stood, Mark absentmindedly closed his locker as he waited for the younger to continue. “I…never actually thanked you for helping and uh…listening to me rant about my boyfriends.” Mark would be lying if he said that the younger’s words didn’t melt his heart. It had been around a week since Renjun and Jeno had asked Jaemin to date them and throughout that week, all Mark had achieved was finding out that Donghyuck’s giggles when he tickled him was angelic. The other three, however, had gone on a few dates despite the exams creeping up on them in a few weeks.

“It’s fine, Jaemin, I’m your hyung for a reason,” he replied, turning his full body to face the other and leaning on his locker with a smile on his face. “They’re good people, Jaemin. Don’t hurt them.”

“I wouldn’t dream of that,” the younger replied, his eyes drifting to someplace behind Mark as a frown broke out on his face. “Again?” Mark turned around to see Renjun seething with his hair and top dripping wet. “Do you want to use my spare shirt?” He heard Jaemin ask and knew that the younger already had his feet pointed in the direction of his locker.

“Yes please, Min,” Renjun said lowly, his lips turning into a thin line as Jaemin’s footsteps faded away. “Hi hyung.”

“Who was it, Renjun?” he asked, watching as Renjun brushed his wet fringe out of the front of his eyes.

“Same bullies with the same tricks,” the shorter male answered just as Donghyuck appeared from down the hall with a towel. “Thanks.”

“Hey babe,” Donghyuck greeted, planting a kiss on Mark’s cheek and doing nothing to cease the butterflies that erupted in his stomach. “Junnie, we need to put a stop to all of this. It’s getting out of hand.”

“I don’t want to start a scene, Hyuck,” Renjun replied, taking the towel and using it to dry his hair. “Don’t look at me like that, hyung.”

“Like what?” he asked, scowl still evident on his face as anger ran angrily through his veins.

“Like that,” Renjun answered, furrowing his eyebrows as Donghyuck sighed.

“Yeah, does Jeno know that? He’s beating them up as we speak.” Alarmed, Mark turned towards his younger boyfriend who shrugged. “He finally snapped.”

“Who snapped?” Turning to find Jaemin holding his spar

Chapter 36: This was amazing and so fulfilling: I cried when there was a sad scene, laughed when Donghyuck was being savage and when the scenes were hilarious. I felt warm whenever they had family moments. I cursed out all the bullies and betrayers when they had their coming out moments and then synthesized with them after I found out that some of them were victims too.
You're writing is so beautiful and lovely. I really, really enjoyed reading it! — I had to keep reading and it's currently 5:12 in the morning, lol.
As a new fan of NCT, I can say that this satisfied my Markhyuck cravings! Again, I loved it!

Chapter 29: I just pulled an all - nighter just to read this and there are some things I wanna say. This is the best written, most intriguing and brilliant markhyck fanfiction I've read and it's not even finished yet. Author - nim, you are doing absolutely amazing job, I can't imagine how much effort and hard work you put and have putted into your story. You had me crying, laughing, being stunned, shocked, betrayed and I loved every second of it. Consider me your new fan, and I will ( and I bet the other readers will too) wait as much as needed for the next chapters. Keep up the fascinatingly good job and thank you for all of what you're doing?
