Renjun raised an eyebrow at the first sentence Chenle had said since Renjun had answered his call.
“Okay, what’s the problem?” he asked, hearing a low ‘are you sure you lost it?’ in the background that prompted a higher ‘yes, Appa, I’m sure’ before Chenle was speaking again.

If you're a new reader to the series: I suggest reading the previous two installments (Disaster Dates and More Disaster Dates) in it since this one does refer to characters that were developed in the second one as well as referencing (very vaguely) to one instance in the first one.
