Day Twenty-One

30 Day Challenge

What three lessons do you want your children to learn from you?

  • "Never judge a book by its cover.."

My mom always told me to never just a book by its cover. By that she meant never judge a person by their looks. You never know how a person will be unless you know them. I didn't always understand at first, I guess because I was young and I was getting friends and then she was watching my play around with them (Note: She was a teacher for a long time so I went to the same school she went worked at.) So I guess at times, I would play with someone or I would judge a person. Anyways, after time I would sort of ignore that saying because I didn't bring thought to it. I would meet people and I thought they were mean and rude but then I spoke to them more and more they were actually really different. They were nice, funny, and caring. I was surprised at how my mom was right. To this day, I still follow that saying because I deal with a lot of women at work and we are all different. I sometimes think some are rude and annoying but they have their moments when they are nice. So this saying is really important for everyone to learn.

  • "Respect others"

It's important to show respect. I know its earned just like trust. But sometimes, you gotta show respect when your at work and other around you. Everyone is different but respect is important. It helps others show how you can be round them. For example. sometimes at work I show respect to my co-workers because its my job and we are around children. We have to set an example. Sometimes I won't like what I do but I show respect. The same for family. I show respect and I always ask if I want something. Respect is important regardless and its something a child should learn at a young age and that way they feel respected as well.

  • "Acceptance.."

Everyone is differen in their own way. I think accepting how they are is going to help understand someone better. I used to think people were the same but we aren't. Its better to be different the same because then we would be boring. HAHA! We will like different music, movies, clothing, colors, interests and its good for someone to know that different isn't bad its good and keeps thing interesting. We can try to get others to like the same thing we like and the others way around but if it doesn't work out than its ok. No harm in trying. Things are supposed to be as they are and might as well just accept it.

Chapter 15: Thanks for giving us(your readers)a closer look at who you are.
You are a very interesting young person with so much ahead of you. Stay humble and enjoy life to the fullest.
Your stories with Bobby and Jeongyeon are of course my favourite....looking forward to Junhoe and Myungeun.
Lucky you! I was planning to go to the Monsta X concert up there near Chicago but others things got in the way and I had to cancel. I had my money saved and ready to see one of K pops most under rated group.
I guess I have to see Hyungwon, Shownu, Kihyun and Jooheon another time....T.T

I loved that you said Jinho is small and cute....I agree. I notice him when he was with SM company. He was going to be a part of EXO but SM had other things in mind for him. Well as you can see SM let him go and he went to Cube. I have a personnel group of guys that are small and I call them my tea cup boys. They are Jinho(Pentagon), Kihyun(MonstaX), Jinhwan(Ikon) and Jinwoo(Winner). They are the smallest of their group and they are so cute.
Keep your head up, be true to yourself, never give up and stay sweet and friendly. Everyone is here on earth for a reason and let's make the most of it.
C-ya later friend.
