--Bonus Chapter: Never Learn from Experience

“I have been told that someone is looking for me” Baekhyun giggled and show up behind the door as Jongdae abruptly throw all the books on his hand, out of his surprise

“You surprised me, geez!” Jongdae declared

            The golden hair librarian sighed and bended down to take all of his scattered books all over the floor. It is a public secret that he loves books and certainly treasured them as if they are his children. That is because the books are the one who brought him to his life, his Minseok hyung.

“Yeah, I definitely look for my best friend here, but-“ he glanced at the certain man who nowadays has been glued to his friend, so he raised one of his eyebrow “I don’t re-call looking for that man over there. Moreover-“ he narrowed his eyes this time “That guy over there, excuse me sir- I never see you in the library once, like ever. What are you doing here?”

Luhan rolled his eyes as he muttered something incoherently under his breath and said “For your information, I spend almost of my last year in here, is drawn by those books, in courtesy of your so-called fiancé” he snorted “-and I really am not in the mood to argue with you. Those new students are bunch of rebels like- oh my- sometimes I just want to rip all of them, breaking them apart or something like slicing and-“ his eyes sparked a little before its lost his passion “Tell me again why the hell I became a teacher here?”

“Well, because Sehun is being one, right?” Chanyeol blinked innocently as he answered even before Jongdae and Baekhyun could stop him, successfully make Luhan glared at him

“Exactly why!” Luhan stomped his feet to the ground and said dramatically “Why the hell he chose to be a teacher, I mean- like- there are many other interesting occupations. I prefer to be a guide like Minseok or Kyungsoo, maybe gate keeper like Jongin is not bad at all. You- your occupation is something I envied so much! I mean, you can destroyed the field without even getting angry by Suho and-“

“We are also called teachers here” Baekhyun explained lowly so Luhan couldn’t hear him, is followed by nodding Chanyeol

“Thus-“ Jongdae massaged his temples, trying to be as calm as he could “I repeat, am not going to be rude, but why the hell you even here?” he sighed “The library is supposed to be a quiet and peaceful place. If you don’t mind, please- the exit is at that way” he pointed at the door they just came in “Baek-“ he then added in hopeless tones

            The other giggled. When Luhan glared to all of them for some minutes before decided to sit at the nearest table he could see. He narrowed his eyes at Jongdae.

“That is what I needed the most, a quiet and peaceful place. Now, if you excused me” Luhan made it clear that he won’t get into another argument as he crossed his hands on the table and put his head between it, closing his eyes as he tried his best to fall asleep

“What! You can’t just-“

“Let him be Jongdae-ah. He actually has a great-big-quarell with Sehun because- well-“ Baekhyun leaned closer to Jongdae so he could speak lowly “Apparently new students tried to flirt with Sehun, he took it as a jokes as always. Sehun thought they are just immature and all. But not with Luhan, you know what is on his mind. Well- That is really not good at all”

            Chanyeol, being as quiet as he could, nodded his head as the confirmation so Jongdae sighed and waved his hand carelessly. Library is not supposed to be a place to sleep, but, Jongdae looks at Luhan again, it is better than getting someone killed. He got the point, so he let another sighed again before letting the man sleep on his table. He saw Baehyun grinned at him and obviously, confused Chanyeol in the back, with sleeping Luhan by now. It seems familiar somehow, somewhere.

“So, what is the problem? I heard that you are looking for me?” Baekhyun asked immediately looking around and tried his best to lower his voice

Jongdae nodded while looking around “I should know that you will bring all of them here, but well- let’s postpone it till night. I am going to work and let my mind calm a bit” he explained before leaving the men there

            There is no way he will express his idea to propose Minseok here, nope, definitely nope.

“Hi, how’s your day?”

            A beautiful smile is drawn on his face. No matter how many times he saw that smile, Minseok is always having the best smile ever and Jongdae will be the one who is always falling more. He unconsciously smiled at the older man, a kind of smile that reached his eyes, a sincere one that nobody could actually resist. All the tiring things are happened today is washed away by Minseok’s beautiful smile.

“Tiring, but not anymore” Jongdae put the books carefully on the table “How about you?”

Minseok keeps his smile, leaned closer to Jongdae while asking for a hug at the same time, thus a wish which will never been ignored by Jongdae, so he got it “It is so tiring. Chanyeol basically burn a class again so I need to take care of it. Suho isn’t helping at all. I don’t know why he seems a lot busier these days. Jongin keeps asking me what is happened with Kyungsoo, appeared anywhere, when I don’t even know myself. And Luhan-“ he exaggerated his sighed “he even picked a fight with a new girl in this term, at Sehun’s class! Could you imagine? Oh my God, bless my soul!” he drawn his face on Jongdae’s chest whose already patting the older lovingly

“Well, I know. I heard the news” Jongdae chuckled, sent a vibrate on Minseok’s face who hit him lightly

“Oh, you always know. I wonder though” he then let go of the embrace “How did you know? You are always in the library all the time” he said

“Be friend with Baekhyun, and you will know why” Jongdae said sternly and pulled Minseok into another hug “Now, let me charge your blessing soul, Marshmallow” he chuckled when Minseok giggled at him

            That’s how they spend their night after the little conversation they had. That is why Jongdae is so determined to talk with his best friend about this. Proposing someone to a marriage isn’t a small thing, he need to get all prepared, like- everything.

“He needs a holiday, I mean it -or a simple dinner” Chanyeol said in worried

“Why should go romantic when you could get all fancy things? Ask him with a private boat to a holiday and arrange a beautiful romantic candle-light dinner, I suggest you an orchestra is a must, to one of those diamond restaurants!” Luhan shouted

Baekhyun snorted at Luhan “I will agree with it if only you didn’t try to make my friend here got bankrupt. Chanyeol is right, a holiday with a candle-light dinner would works” he indeed emphasized the words, telling Chanyeol that a simple dinner wouldn’t ever work on him

            Jongdae sighed, looking at Baekhyun to his-officially-extended-tail, Chanyeol, to another-extended-tail, Luhan, to why-the-hell-he-is-even-being-here, Sehun. The latter grunted at him, showing him something like rope on his right hand that is connected with Luhan’s left hand thus Jongdae’s jaw dropped. He looks at Baekhyun in suspicious as the other grinned at the rope.

“So, tell me again why all of you even being here?” Jongdae massaged his temples, suddenly felt tense

            It is good that they are in the cafeteria, not in the library. It is better because there is no sign of Minseok. However, Jongdae almost got a heart attack when Kyungsoo is coming to them, while biting his lips hard, eyes sparking in violet as if he is ready to kill someone. So, the conversation stops immediately.

“Is there anything wrong?” Jongdae furrowed his eyebrow as Kyungsoo glanced at the rope between Sehun and Luhan, then to Baekhyun and Chanyeol who immediately straightened their posture

“You are asking me ‘is there anything wrong’, seriously?” Kyungsoo asked widened his glaring eyes which naturally make them feel tense immediately “Yes it is. Definitely” he said firmly and looked at four teachers who gulped in nervous “I found out that four of my teachers, that should already start their classes, have been missing and there they are- slacking off here, in the cafeteria. Move your asses right now, or I am going to call Suho hyung. And let me tell you, that is not good news either” he glared at the rope between Sehun and Luhan “-and cut that rope off. I am not going to do here. Mark my words” he left them as he hit the table, obviously broke it into two

            Luhan immediately untied the rope when Sehun hug him from the back out of fear. Chanyeol widened his eyes, looking at the broken table, back to his, gladly, safely coffee on hand as he slurped it in one gulp and asked Baekhyun to hurry up. Because Baekhyun was leaning closer to Jongdae and broke the news before leaving him in question and back to the class.

“I guessed Kyungsoo has found out that Jongin bombarded Minseok hyung with questions instead of thinking by himself about the fight they currently had. So, the anger is not from us. Unfair. Unfair” he repeated the words and left Jongdae alone in the cafeteria

            Jongdae rolled his eyes. His friends would never grow up. Then he left after clean up the table, he obviously didn’t want to add Minseok’s job.

“I am tired!” Minseok cried, looking for Jongdae and stretched his arms as he found the golden hair librarian is standing peacefully in the library

            Jongdae chuckled at his act. Minseok might be older, but he certainly is younger. So, he embraced the other as he patted his back. He hummed lowly though, not wanting other students who are still there, hearing their conversation.

“Something is wrong?” he asked

            Minseok nodded furiously, backed off a second just to show Jongdae his pout.

“Suho is still busy with something I don’t even know. He kept it for himself. I gave up asking him then I ask Kris who is always sleeping in the office. He didn’t answer me though, instead laughing at me! Urgh, I don’t get it so I don’t care anymore”

            Lie. Jongdae knows very well that the older couldn’t ignore his friend’s problem. But he hummed as the responses, letting Minseok continued with his stories.

“I couldn’t find Kyungsoo anywhere, and Tao said that is good news because Kyungsoo has been mad all day. I wonder why. Did I make a mistake and he keeps a distance with me?”

Jongdae frowned “-or maybe Jongin” he answered

“Nah, it reminds me. I didn’t see Jongin today either. He always asked me with weirds question all day. And did you know that today feel like everyone is missing”

            Then, Jongdae raised one of his eyebrows as if he didn’t know the answer already.

Minseok continued “The teachers. Who else” he snorted “But, that is okay. Kyungsoo seems to finish the problem already. Well, but- how is your day my little Chen-chen?” he added with a smile

            Jongdae laughed, pinched Minseok’s nose lightly as the older immediately protested at him. Although they are laughing and smiling at each other lovingly, they kept their voices down. Know very well that library is supposed to be calm and peaceful place. Jongdae told Minseok about his day, of course with low voices and sweet talks added in between, minus the meeting in the cafeteria. All is just going too well that he just wants the time to stop like that.

“Flowers?” Chanyeol suggested

“That is too- usual? C’mon Chanyeol, you could do better than this!” Baekhyun protested, a bit frustrated about his future by the way Chanyeol think

“Then, a bouquet of flowers?” he corrected innocently

Baekhyun let out an exaggerated sighed when Sehun laughed at him, he mouthed him shut up, but he keeps laughing as Luhan suggested “Wine? As far as I know, he likes wine?”

“No wine in the Academy, please” Kyungsoo protested “Except you will do the things outside, that is actually a good idea. Completed with fancy dinner, that suits more”

“-but, I still prefer ice cream though” Baekhyun pouted

“Nobody put a ring in the ice cream, Baek” Jongin protested, but then he looks at the tensed Chanyeol and sighed “My bad, scratch that. Nobody is sane enough to put a ring in the ice cream”

            Jongdae closed his eyes, sighing at six people in his room, exactly three couples, by now has argued at each other, talking about his supposed to be private proposing thing. As far as he knows he only asked his best friend to come in, to discuss about the matter. He already considered Chanyeol, Luhan, and Sehun to be here. However, he looked at the teleporter and his fiancé who sat perfectly fine in front of him.

“Mind to explain?”

“Baekhyun told me that you plan something to Minseok” Kyungsoo defensed “I thought you want to hear my idea as well?”

“The more the merrier!” Baekhyun grinned

            Luhan nudged him quietly, whispering him that is just Baekhyun’s trick to run away from Kyungsoo’s wrath. The ex-assassin apparently is being late from his class, again. Thus to run away from yelling CEO, who is always been popular for being uptight, he told him about the plan. And that leads them here.

Jongade sighed “In that case. I prefer wine. Don’t worry, I will, as much as I want to, take my vacation with Minseok” he looks at Luhan then “Luhan hyung is right, nowadays Minseok seems so stressed out. May us?” he asked to Kyungsoo, who nodded eagerly

“I will tell Su-“ Kyungsoo stopped for a moment “I mean, Kris for this. You are right, Minseok needs holiday, and a surprise proposing sounds great” he giggled at that, has already imagining the other surprising face “Ah, I couldn’t wait for the good news already!”

“As long as you are happy, that is what the matter” Jongin smiled at him, mouthing Jongdae a thank you from his spot as he pulled the shorter into the embrace

            So, at this, Jongdae raised one of his eyebrows, looking at the rest of the people in the room, demanding an answer. Baekhyun would be the one who always volunteered to break the news. When Sehun started to say something to Luhan, thus the older needs to scoot closer to the younger one, Baekhyun moves to Jongdae’s side. He whispered something that is followed by his nod.

            Apparently, the couple has made up their problem. Thanks to his proposing plan that Kyungsoo seems to forgive Jongin and get so excited about it. And he heard that Jongin plan something to the shorter one which is still unknown for now.

            Jongdae let out deep sighed as he saw the notes on his hand. It is written in beautiful hand-writing he knew very well, said that the one and only Minseok-ie hyung couldn’t come to his library right now. He probably would miss the night as he needs to accompany Suho to do something important.

            Like the hell he ever mention about the important thing to him.

“So, you are sent here, instead?” he looks at Doyoung who scoffed at him

            Doyoung is- long story in short- a new apprentice who is eager to be a teacher just like them but couldn’t be one yet because of his unstable power. He is actually one of those rare gifted who could see the future. Sometimes Jongdae think his un-stability is not that bad, it is actually a perfect balance for life.

            Doyoung nodded while rolling his eyes, they never get close at each other apparently. Long story in short, again, the young man has a little crush with Minseok. Let’s say, Jongdae wins anyway. The young man keeps sulking when Jongdae got the prize. Of course, Minseok is the one. However both of them shared the same fed-up expression right now, one because he simply didn’t want to be the other all day long and the other obviously because he won’t be in the good mood without his Minseok-ie hyung.

“Don’t say like I want to be here or what” Doyoung snorted “But I have a name to be maintained. Hyung said that you need help to organize all the books. So, here I am- helping you and all. Tsk, you couldn’t do anything alone, do you? I am better at this“ Doyoung added “I didn’t understand what hyung see from you”

“You aware the ‘hyung’ you are talking about is my fiancé, right?” Jongdae raised his eyebrow

            Doyoung let another scoffing voice before helping Jongdae with the books.

            There goes his day. No Minseok equals to no good mood in the day. So, when they finally finished organize the book, he looked at Doyoung who is ready to leave him. He sighed and held the other man’s shoulder as he asked him to go to the cafeteria together.

“There is the only place I could treat you. Don’t protest, okay? Organizing books, considering the amount, it is not easy job. Let’s go before I change my mind”

            He knew that Doyoung wouldn’t say no to the treat, either way his ego. So he hid his smile while following Jongdae to the cafeteria. They are just in the door when they heard something loud, and there is the explosion could be seen from the blurry windows. Both of them are looking at each other and immediately run to the backyard to look for what is happening outside.

“What is happened?” he pulled one of the students who tried to run from the mad dragon

The girl is looking panicked, she said “T-they make fun of Tao s-sonsaengnim and the as-assistant is coming and-“

            Kris, in the form of a dragon, with a group of young men on his feet pleading for his life, and there is definitely no sign of Kris will end his torturing’s season. Tao is in the corner, looking as terrified as ever, but filled with bruises and bloods on his body, trying to stop Kris, definitely won’t success because the latter has transformed into a dragon and refused to hear the others. Jongdae soon realized what is actually happened when Kris tightened his grip and choke those rebels with his feet, hissing at them, fire and fogs could be seen from his breath.

“Damn, they are in trouble” Jongdae soon approached them when Doyoung ran to other side, telling him that he will look for another teacher available

            Jongdae lifted his hand upwards while running to them, knowing that calling Kris with that form won’t affect so much, so he made a lightning far enough not to hurt the dragon. It works after the umpteenth trials, the dragon release his grip and looks at him, certainly didn’t look happy at his lightning. It is not like Kris didn’t hear them or all. Jongdae knew his dragon’s ears allow him to have sharp hearing skill. It is just that the dragon refused to do so, and definitely enjoying his action to torture the poor students.

            Well, they are not that poor anyway, they are the one who seeks for the trouble.

“Kris- hey- Kris hyung!” he called the dragon and shouted again “Sorry for the lightning, but I am very sure that the Principal wouldn’t like to hear some of his students have been killed by his assistant once he is back. So, with an honor, could you please come down and- you know, do the talk?” he asked

            Kris glared at him, widened his eyes only to narrow it again to Jongdae. The dragon form Kris, would likely to breaths his fire towards the students, but he knew the librarian has the point. And when he saw Chanyeol, Baekhyun, Kyungsoo, Luhan, and Sehun are running here, following by panic Yixing and Doyoung on the back, he hissed at the rebels once again and transformed back into human. He patted his dusted robes and still managed to hiss at the students.

            Chanyeol looks panic when Baekhyun shook his head after guessing the scene by the amount of people around and injured Tao. Kyungsoo immediately approached Tao and asked Yixing if anything goes wrong. The healer seems to let out deep sighed and yelled at Tao because he already knew the reasons long time ago. Luhan started to protest why Jongdae stops the fight because he is meant to find the popcorn right away. There when he earned a glared from Kyungsoo thus he immediately shut up and clings to Sehun who hid his giggle, whereas the students have been being treated by Doyoung.

“H-he tries to kill me! He is crazy! I will tell my mom!” one of the students just got their sense when he crawled afar and pointed at, still angry actually, Kris

            Sehun has the fast response, immediately pulled Kris before the man made another scene. Doyoung came in help, followed by Chanyeol and Luhan. Luhan actually want to see the fight really bad, the students are such rebels, and it irked him so much sometimes. It is just that, he didn’t want Sehun to get hurt, holding Kris would definitely hard work, so he used his power instead to separate the students and Kris with force.

“Yeah, tell your mom and see what is happened next” Kris hissed “Either you are exiled or you won’t see the sky again”

“Did you hear that? He is insane! He threatened his students!” the student shouted, looking brave once Kris has been transformed into a human and being held by Luhan

            Moreover because Kyungsoo on their side-

“One with sick brain, the other with sick power. They shouldn’t be the teachers here!”

            -for a moment.

            With one look from Kyungsoo, they shut their mouth immediately. Luhan tried his best not to laugh at the scene and hide behind Sehun. Apparently, they just didn’t know how Tao is being treasured by Kyungsoo.

“Say that again and I will be a santa clause and grant Kris’s wishes” Kyungsoo said between his gritted teeth “Now, all of you, come to my office. We need to talk” he then turned around and pointed at Yixing, Tao, and Kris to follow him along

            That is when a portal is opened right beside them and Suho enter the scene with wide eyes, with Jongin and Minseok behind.

“I heard that-“ Suho became panicked when Luhan interrupted him

“Nah, there is nothing. They have already done the talk” Luhan said, crossing his hands behind his head as Sehun giggled at that

            Chanyeol and Baekhyun started to the other students back to their activities. Jongdae and Doyoung came in help, when Jongdae smiled at Minseok, Minseok smiled back at him. Well, there the bad day went away, he just needs one smile from Minseok to brighten up his day.

“What will be happened with the students?” Jongdae asked, patting the bed aside him as he asked Minseok to lays down

“Some of them got exiled for sure” Minseok sighed “the other promised to be good students and beg for forgiveness thus Suho granted immediately in one condition” he sat on the bed, looking at Jongdae with a smile

“Which is?” Jongdae sitting up

He shrugged his shoulder and said casually “Helping Luhan with all he needs. Because apparently helping Kris means immediate death for them”

“Isn’t it the same? Helping Luhan?” Jongdae laughed at the thought when Minseok hummed a yes and he pulled the older for a cuddle

“Both mean same actually, I bet Suho isn’t actually that happy when he knew that Tao is being bullied by his students”

Jongdae corrected “Nobody is happy, you know”

“He just felt bad about it, said that he didn’t want same thing is happened twice, yet it is still happened thus- he just couldn’t forgive himself. It adds another stress to him”

Jongdae sighed “But at least it is done” he said, looking worried at Minseok who definitely would think about it “You should really rest. Don’t stress yourself more”

            But it seems like Minseok didn’t want to hear him. So, Jongdae sighed quietly. He hummed a beautiful song for the older while brushing his hair softly. Kyungsoo is right. Minseok needs the holiday as soon as possible.

            By now, Jongdae has been stomping his feet impatiently. He narrowed his eyes at the groups of people in front of him, who decided to visit the library as if that is what they usually did. But it is not the point. He recalled to only call his childhood, named is Baekhyun, at the first day, but-

            Let’s stop this here, is going to be tiresome to introduce them one by one again.

            Baekhyun waved at him awkwardly when Chanyeol bended and followed Baekhyun behind quietly. Luhan lifted his hand casually, looking around before pulling Sehun who greeted him with a simple ‘hi’ and sat beside the couple. Kyungsoo, whose face is blooming brightly, is smiling at him. Not long after he heard a pop sound and Jongin appeared.

“Kay-“ Jongdae looked at Baekhyun in demand “Mind to explain?”

Baekhyun shook his head as answer “Nah, wait till the last people came in”

            Jongdae raised his eyebrow that is when he heard a knock sounds from behind. He almost jumped in surprised as he saw Kris is flying perfectly fine out of the window when students clearly could see him. He opens the window in panic thus Kris entered the library, muttering about the cold weather while patting his jacket and sit on one of the empty seats there.

“Done. Now, we could continue”

“Are you sure? I thought you will wait for- who is not here again? Ah, Tao, Yixing, Suho, and even Minseok itself” Jongdae raised his voice unconsciously “Seriously Baek, that is same as telling everyone!” he yelled

            Baekhyun rolled his eyes, pointing behind Jongdae who is surprised upon Tao’s sudden appearance. He didn’t hear the other footsteps, moreover his voice. The fighter is really something somehow.

“I am sorry. I thought that you are calling all of us. I didn’t see Suho though” Tao said looking around as he scanned the library

“There is no Yixing either. Now, please just enter before someone else noticed us” Jongdae said when Tao frowned but entered the library anyway

“But Yixing is here. Look” he pointed behind the pile of the books

            Jongdae almost got a heart attack when Yixing says ‘hi’ to him, looking calm as always, behind the piles of the books. By then, Jongdae crossed his hands, looking Baekhyun in question. He really demands the answer.

“Someone should accompany Minseok hyung so the other wouldn’t accidentally come here, I think?” Baekhyun asked with a smile “Suho hyung is with him”

            -a smile that really annoys Jongdae to be exact.

“That is basically tell me that everyone knows” Jongdae sighed, gave up at his friend’s sense as he sat on the seat available

“I don’t understand why you don’t want to tell anyone though. I mean, it is such good news, right?” Kyungsoo lifted his arms, looking excited and all

Excited Kyungsoo means less trouble, thus happiness for all, moreover for Jongin who nodded eagerly “After Suho and Yixing married, I think the rest should follow them. I mean-“ he narrowed his eyes at Luhan who suddenly became red out of his character back to Sehun who actually didn’t get the clue and sighed to Jongdae “You are my role model. Keep it up” Jongin stated

            Baekhyun really want to laugh at it, but clearly, he couldn’t. He looks aside at Chanyeol who is just as same as Sehun, clueless and innocent. All Hail to Jongdae and his brain. Baekhyun snorted.

“So, we arranged the holiday things” Luhan said, scoffed at how stupid Sehun could be if they talk about feelings here and said “-I think we could get some next month, right on Minseok’s birthday. Isn’t it perfect?” he asked

At that, Jongdae widened his eyes “Wait, didn’t it mean that all of you will come?!”

Kris winced “Didn’t you invite us as well?”

Jongdae dropped his jaw “Bu-but you said that should be private and all- and- and-“ he pointed his weakened finger at Baekhyun to Luhan to the rest of them

Luhan snorted, waved his hand as he said “Look at him, afraid of us being there like we are going to ruin his plan or what” he scoffed “What? You didn’t really think that we will be there, right?”

“You know the phrase learn from experience?” Jongdae blurted out

“But that day we made your plan wonderful!” Baekhyun protested

“It is, until certain someone interrupts us and- you know the rest”

“Guys, could we stay in topic, please?” Sehun asked, sighed at his friend’s randomness as he continued “That is fine if you don’t us to be there, we wouldn’t be there. We are good friends, aren’t we?” he asked, raised one of his eyebrows to the rest of them “Guys?” he pleaded

            With the nod of the rest of them, Jongdae smiled. Earning a very big thank you from Jongdae as Sehun smirked at them. Truthfully to say, none of their words are wrong. They are good friends anyway, they will do everything that made their friends happy. It is just that, Jongdae didn’t really learn from the experience. That is enough to guess everything that is happened next week.

            Jongdae is nervous. He really is. How could he not?

            It is like the most important day for him, in the history, and he didn’t want anything to fail. Everything should be perfect, and by perfect means everything should be right on the plan, even the slightest one like- ring box color. Pleasing the perfect Jongdae isn’t an easy task, obviously. He took his free-time to check everything again and again, calling the flower shop, or even the jewelry store, to ensure there is nothing gone wrong at the D-day. He even hid the date from his friends just because he didn’t want the others to suddenly show up out of nowhere.

            -and that is why he didn’t understand when Minseok suddenly said no to him.

“I am sorry Chen. I didn’t mean to- I mean, Suho has been in the bad terms lately and I couldn’t just leave him alone, right? I couldn’t take my day-off this weekend either. I know that you have planned everything for our holiday, but-“

            Jongdae couldn’t really say no to Minseok, could he?

            He didn’t know up until now there will be a day that he insisted his argument towards the older.

“But- hyung, couldn’t you consider it again? I mean- I mean-“ he is going to cry anytime soon and Minseok really didn’t want that to happen

            So, the older kiss the cheeks and hope the tears would go away. It usually works, but not at this time. Minseok sighed. Jongdae really wants the holiday then.

“Fine. I am going to ask Kris if he could accompany Suho instead. But don’t light your hope that much, you know what I mean, right? Kris is- not that dependable” Minseok sighed, earning a sobbing Jongdae as the older immediately took him into a hug and that was they did for the past hours

            Jongdae almost threw the books away when Minseok came to the library, telling him that the holiday will go on as Kris agreed to accompany Suho for whatever business he is holding on. Of course, Minseok blinked furiously when the younger didn’t even shy to hug him in front of the other students. The students, some are already close to the librarian as Jongdae is a good person himself, cooed at them when the other giggled quietly. Library became not a really calm and peaceful place that day, but all could see how the flowers bloom beautifully within the couple. Minseok couldn’t help not to feel happy even though he is as white as blank paper about everything came in the other’s head right now.

            So there he is, totally dumbstruck at the boat in front of him.

“Y-you rented a boat? Moreover, private one?” he gasped, blinked furiously and pointed at the motor yacht in front of them

            Perhaps Jongdae got a wrong reservation-

With a very proud smile, Jongdae nodded “Of course! We need a holiday! A long day on the sea seems promising!” he shouted happily as he dragged both of their suitcases on his own to the boat as a crew approached them and hand him the key

“Are you sure you can drive it, Chen?” Minseok whispered in worried as he didn’t want to scare the crew or what

Jongdae giggled at him “You trust me, right? I spend all the time in the library to learn. Don’t worry Marshmallow, I learn from the best!”

“By that, means the book or the experience?” Minseok asked a bit worried as he felt the boat slightly moving

Jongdae stretched his arm to help Minseok came in as he answered “Both. I learn from the books, then, asked Gongmyung afterwards-“

“Fine, if that how it is” Minseok sighed, letting Jongdae carried him to the boat while whispering lowly “I could always freeze the water if something bad is happening anyway”

“Ouch, that hurts my pride. You don’t really trust me, huh?” Jongdae teased the worried Minseok but started the machine as he shouted Yahoo

            They really have their time-

            Jongdae docked the boat on the nearest buoy he could find as he looked at the tired Minseok is sleeping on the couch cutely. He sighed. Minseok is really worried all day and that is made the older tired and fell to sleep in fast.

            Thus he smiled, kissing the man on the forehead and walked out as quiet as he could to the small kitchen out of the room. He tapped his feet, checked the ingredients in the cabinet to the wine in closet above the cabinet to the ring box which twitched his heart every time he touch it in his suitcase. Oh, Kim Jongade is very nervous. He really is.

            When Minseok opened his eyes, he is surprised by the weird smell seeps to the room. He widened his eyes when he couldn’t find Jongdae on the seat, but sighed pleasantly as he saw the boat has been docked properly. However, the smell remained there, thus he came out from the control room.

            Jongdae is there, certainly looked like he is in bad mood as Minseok look down and saw what made the younger frowned. Perhaps the soggy mashed potatoes, or the messy vegetables, or what-seems-like-unwell cut cherry tomatoes, or definitely that burnt meat.

            He couldn’t hide his laughter as he saw the table has been properly set, completed with the clean and clear white table cloth with lit artificial candle which dimmed the room in perfect color. A bouquet of flowers, mixed of yellow asters, red roses, baby breaths, and white narcissus, have been put nicely at the center of table, just beside the artificial candle. Minseok didn’t remind to see that flowers before. Perhaps the younger has prepared everything secretly before. There are two plates, waited to be filled with the so-called romantic dinner, with two goblets water and two wine glasses which Minseok has been wondering where.

“Y-you are not supposed to be here yet, wait!” Jongdae, after realizing Minseok has sit on one of the seat, unfolding the neat and well-folded napkins into his laps, shouted in panic

“Why? Is it not supposed to be mine?” he smiled at the wine glass, waiting Jongdae to sit in front of him

Jongdae sighed, looking at the burnt meat on the pan and back to Minseok “-and Chanyeol said that ‘follow the recipe, and you will be good!’”

“He forgets to mention that you are not that good in cooks, didn’t he?”

“Hey, I am good!”

“I am pretty sure that is not the definition of good either, Chen” Minseok teased and pointed at the rest of the supposed-to-be-their-dinner

“But- the meat is pretty much well cooked!”

“Yes, overly- well-cooked” Minseok giggled, signaled the seat in front of him as he said “Now sit, before you ruined the wine either. Where is it? As far as I know we couldn’t let the wine wait”

            Jongdae pouted, is a thing that Minseok fell for and couldn’t help not to adore with. So, Jongdae looked at his failed dinner once again, before looking at excited Minseok in front of him. The ring still twitched on his pocket somehow he didn’t have a heart to let it out. But when Minseok asked Jongdae to open the wine, Jongdae kneeled down and took out the box in his pocket, showing the beautiful aquamarine stone which reflected the sparks from the candle light.

“Wait, what-“ Minseok gasped, looking to ring to the nervous Jongdae back to the ring again “Is it a proposal?”

“Marriage proposal” Jongdae corrected “I supposed to put it in the wine but knowing you will gulped it in one go, and- I kind of ruining everything now- So” he took a deep breath “Will you marry me?”

            Jongdae didn’t hear the answer because he just fell right on the floor by a man who just threw his body to him.

“Of course, yes!” he shouted happily

“So, that is called simple dinner?” Baekhyun purred, nudged Chanyeol beside him and hummed happily “You didn’t even tell me you will cook. Guessed that I will get the best dinner ever”

            Kris rolled his eyes when he saw Chanyeol blushed badly. The younger brother couldn’t even hide his feeling towards the shorter and everyone in there knows that Chanyeol is practically being whipped by Baekhyun. The poor man hid his blushing red cheeks behind Kris who rolled his eyes once again and elbowed Tao beside him.

“Let me tell ya that I couldn’t cook either those romantic acts. Don’t let your hope high, kay?” Kris stated

            That is enough to make Tao blushed. Truthfully to say, Kris stood up for him from those rebels moves his heart more than Kris realized. Let’s say he has a low self-esteem, but as long as he has Kris as his back, he didn’t think that he needs anything anymore.

“Don’t try Sehun, I am still thinking fancy is the best” Luhan pouted “That is once in a lifetime!”

Sehun furrowed his eyebrows “Oh, so you asked me to marry you?”

            Luhan make a sound, a really surprised squealing as he hit Sehun furiously.

“You didn’t tell me you didn’t want to propose me or what, I am being a teacher because of you, darn it!” Luhan hit Sehun word by word and that is when Kyungsoo rolled his eyes, praising Yixing as the best planner out of them

“Hence I said you don’t need to adopt a girl or boy or what. You just see that Yixing here is the most normal guy, here, right? He loves you no less-” Kyungsoo sighed, patted Suho who basically just want to cover Kyungsoo’s mouth when Yixing widened his eyes and the rest of them looking at him

“Pardon me? Yo-you adopt a child?” Luhan widened his eyes in surprised

“-and here we are struggling with our problem not getting married and that guy over there is thinking about adopting child!” Baekhyun shouted exaggeratedly as Suho gulped, looking at Yixing in panic

“I didn’t mean to break it- but now, you have to know, all extra time I did in the office is dedicated for this guy’s crisis of adopting child or not” Kris explained

“Oh shut up Kris” Suho glared at chuckling Kris as he looked at Yixing shyly “I don’t mean to hide it from you, I just-“ Suho corrected

Yixing giggled “That is because I always say that kids nowadays are adorable?”

Suho nodded shyly “I thought that you want to have one, and so- I asked Minseok and Kyungsoo about it-“ Kris didn’t help he added while glaring at complaining Kris and added “-so, that is-“

“I might be happy” Yixing smiled, pulling Suho into a tender hug as he said “-but that doesn’t mean I want to compel you or anything, babe. You don’t need to worry about my happiness, because my happiness is you”

“Aww, didn’t know that Yixing is this sweet” Jongin whispered to Baekhyun who nodded and giggled at them “See, you two have to learn from him!” he elbowed Luhan and Chanyeol

            -one with still blushing cheeks, the other with emotionless expression.

“As if you didn’t need to” Kris commented, rolled his eyes when Jongin grinned

“Oh, I already did. You wait, hyung-“ Jongin winked at him and Kyungsoo has a bad feeling about this somehow

“So, will we go to the next step or-“ Jongdae raised his eyebrow, looking at Minseok who basically crushed him down after they made out session

            He mumbled something though, something Jongdae couldn’t hear well. But when he pointed his finger up to the sky, showing him a perfect controlled drone is watching them all day, Jongdae sighed. He lifted his arm and a lightning came out of nowhere, is struck right on the poor drone which fell to the water immediately.

“No wonder they didn’t protest at all. Having fun watching us, like-” Jongdae didn’t even finish his word as Minseok is pulling him into the cabin and know what will happen next

“Are you nervous?” Chanyeol asked, nudged the golden hair boy which already colored his hair back to black because his soon-to-be-spouse just want it to be

“You guess, of course I am!” Jongdae shouted in panic, hugging Baekhyun unconsciously “What should I do?” he asked for help

“Be there, saying I do, and kiss” Baekhyun said, looking at Kyungsoo for help “right?”

“At this time I hope Suho or Yixing is near” Kyungsoo sighed desperately

            But everyone knows that who Kyungsoo really wants to be here is his Jongin. Apparently the teleporter is being missing from this morning, right after he said to them that he would meet them late at the wedding. Well, that explained much why Kyungsoo is being grumpy lately.

“Are you done?” a man entered the room and whistled at Jongdae “Let me tell you that you win big prize today, Pikachu. My brother mopped all day but got better today, thanks to Taeyeong who decided to stay over last night, but well- let’s go, you don’t want to make your Marshmallow waiting” Gongmyung explained brightly

            Being the only powerless in the room doesn’t put his self-esteem down or what. In fact, he is happy for being the only powerless in the room. Long story in short, Gongmyung is Doyoung’s brother. Unlike his brother, and the rest people on the room, he is the only straight one here. Something he has a pride on.

            Five minutes later, when Baekhyun and Chanyeol basically dragged the groom out of the room, and Gongmyung complained a lot of ruining his schedule, same goes to Kyungsoo who is still as grumpy as ever because Jongin is not around, then Kris came. The taller man grinned, something that he rarely did, to the nervous Jongdae while playing with his eyebrows and whispering something that mortified him before leaving them while saying goodbye.

“What is hyung said?” Chanyeol asked immediately, turned to Jongdae while blinking in question

“M-Minseok-ie hyung-“ Jongdae whispered “Kris said that Minseok-ie hyung is so gorgeous that I will fainted at the aisle looking at him and, oh my God- guys! I couldn’t do this. I am way too nervous I-“ Jongdae blabbered as Gongmyung leaned closer to Baekhyun

“Could you make him fainted now or anything, calling Luhan, perhaps? So we could continue the wedding as plan?”

“Nah, let him be” Baekhyun giggled as the rests of them shook his head on panic Jongdae

            So that is what happened for the rest of the time. Baekhyun has all the time to make fun of his childhood friend. When Gongmyung asked them to back at the seat because apparently the guests are coming, Baekhyun blew a goodbye kiss to nervous Jongdae. Chanyeol patted the panic man to encourage him as he took a sit beside Baekhyun, telling him to stop because he could hear lightning outside. Baekhyun giggled at that. Kyungsoo has already taken a seat since they enter the room, waiting Jongin patiently, and decided what the worse will happen at the man if he didn’t show up any minutes.

            The wedding started when the seat are mostly taken. Kris came out from the door, telling them to get ready, accompanied by Gongmyung who basically planned everything beside his busy schedule. There is no way Jongdae would believe his friends to do the job.

            Everything is going smooth, except the nervous Jongdae, and the grinning priest, named Kris. The latter insisted to be one because he declared the dragon suited the position very well. Jongin came right after Kris closed the door, asking if everyone is there yet. The teleporter got a light hit from his fiancé, but nobody would protest about it. He deserves it. Besides, the man got hit just grinned as if nothing is happened.

            The ticking time is going slow somehow, at least for Jongdae. However, when the door opened in slow motion, Luhan appeared, looking evil beside the angelic man beside him. Minseok is so gorgeous and that is no way anyone could argue with that. Jongdae couldn’t understand why the hell they pointed Tao as the stylist and now he knows why.

            There is a lot happened at that time. Like Minseok’s flowers accidentally fell from his hand, thanks to Luhan who immediately levitate it, to Jongdae who stumbled on his feet beside nothing is happening there, thanks to Kyungsoo who moves his finger swiftly thus the earth didn’t allow Jongdae to fall. So, Kris cleared his throat again and signaled Luhan to walk in.

            The rest of the party, felt like miracle. Both are successfully finished their jobs. At least, Jongdae did his best to stay on his foot when Minseok giggled at him adorably. Everything is perfect-

            Almost.

            Just when Kris asked them to kiss each other, and Jongdae couldn’t help not to turn around too fast, is resulting his shoes to stumble and he fell to Minseok’s arms which caught him immediately, thanks to Minseok quick response. Then for a moment they stay like that, before Minseok slowly bended down and kiss the man bridal style. It would be sweet if only Jongdae is the one who hold Minseok, but never mind, as long as they are both happy, then that it is.

“Kay, not sure if this is good or not. But, congratulations on your wedding!” Kris shouted, allowing the others to shout with him

            Hence, everyone else in the room is following him and shouted happily. And there is Jongin, who turned around and surprised Kyungsoo who is smiling and clapping at the scene. Kyungsoo raised one of his eyebrows, asked the teleporter the question he is wondering for a day long.

“So, mind to tell me why the hell you are late at your bestfriend’s wed-“

“To this, to prepare this-“

            Jongin grinned, opened his palm and a small black twirling portal shown up on his hand, a box fell to his open arm, thus the teleporter open it and shows Kyungsoo a beautiful bright diamond on the slick ring. As if that is not enough, appearing from the big portal behind him, there is a scene of beautiful garden flower which Baekhyun dears so much, now filled with white carnations. Jongin smiled at how surprised Kyungsoo could be and then he said.

“Will you marry me, Soo-ah?”
