Prologue

            Exodeux is the top confidential project ran by the R organization. Its goal is confidential, as well as its members. But for sure, it is involved something about illegal cloning and research about inhuman being who hold such unexplainable power. It is said that the organization has been banned since fifteen years ago. But nobody knows, really, nobody know what was actually happened at that time. Long story short, they are vanished even before founded.

            Then three years after, a totally different case has occurred. Twelve kids have been kidnapped and returned home after twelve days, not knowing what is happening to them. Their age are varied from ten to fourteen years old. But for the sake of their mental healthiness, their identities are kept hidden. Some might flight to other country, some might move to another town. But nobody stays in the city.

            And finally, one tried to find the truth.

“This again?” there a low-dangerous voice comes “I have told you, this isn’t right. You couldn’t just come and go as you wish Detective Kim. Even it is about your hometown, but no is still a no” the firm lady said in straight, un-happy face

            She straightened her thick-rectangular glasses on her eyes and stared at the man. But the man seems un-waved, instead he looks angered. He pointed at the papers in front of her and tried not to sound annoyed and it seems work.

“But the case is odd, don’t you think so? Look the time difference is oddly matched. If we took a little closer” the detective flips the papers and search for the data he has been looking for “Fifteen years ago, the organization has been closed due to unknown reason” then he flips to another page “Three years after, exactly twelve years ago, the kids have been kidnapped for another unknown reason” he flips the paper again even though he knows that the lady didn’t even listen to him and said “The organization has been research about something illegal. They conducted the illegal research which concerned with people and cloning. The sources proved that they only need twelve subjects” he flips back to random paper “-and here the subject they needed. The-twelve-missing-kids!” he slammed the papers to the lady’s desk, no longer have the patience anymore

As the lady annoyingly smiled at him and handed over the papers back to him “Detective Kim, perhaps you didn’t hear me. But as I have said before, this isn’t right. The case is not odd at all. It is just an occult case and another kidnapping case. You should back to your job and do something more helpful. You are wasting your time” she then said “How old are you?”

Trying to hold his anger, detective Kim answered “Twenty four years old, ma’am”

The lady chuckled “The same age as the kidnapped kids. Are you happened to know one of them?”

Detective fisted his hand while shaking his head.

“I know that. You are just too young in this field. Now, go back to your desk” she commanded as she took the papers and put it into the paper shredder, she suddenly said “I almost forget, detective Kim, the Head Police called you this afternoon. Go to him after lunch”

            He actually didn’t hear what the lady said as his eyes only focus on the papers in the paper shredder. Thanks God he did save the paper on his flash disk. Then, he turned around and back to his desk.

At the same time, the telephone on his desk rang, he immediately took in over his ears and greets the caller “Good morning, with Detective Kim Jongdae, how can I help you, sir?”
