It was a normal sunny day in South Korea when I opened the doors to my new penthouse. It had everything I needed, huge space, my favorite mannequin, all my tools and fabrics and it was with its own furniture. I was impressed with my partner’s work; I never thought that she would manage to get me everything done in a day. However, coming back to my home country still wasn’t something I felt enthusiastic about; actually I have quite a bad feeling about all of this. I heaved a sigh and stepped inside, leading my luggage along with me when my phone started to ring. I looked at the caller ID and answered immediately “Minhee please let me come back and let’s send someone else.”

“Well hello to you too partner! And no, your dad asked you this one favor, and they clearly asked for Jung Seul not someone else you shouldn’t shame him with his friend.”  My best friend and business partner said sternly *yeah a favor*, it all started thanks to my dad’s favor. I frowned as I recalled yesterday’s events.

*Flashback*

“Hey dad” I smiled while answering the phone, having a dress in front of me that needs to get done, I put my phone on speaker as I was the only one left in the shop.

“Awn, my pretty daughter has answered, I thought she’ll be at her cave again too occupied to notice her phone ringing” He cooed from the other line making me roll my eyes and chuckle a bit at his statement.

“So, what’s up? Is everything okay?” I said without shifting my gaze or attention away from the fabric in my hands.

“Yeah, everything is fine... I just need a favor though” He said, I could sense hesitation in his voice which made me raise my eyebrow in curiosity and for the first time, stop what I was doing.

“What is it?”

“Well, you see... I have this friend who owns a fashion company; it’s one of the most successful ones in here. Well the point is, he’s in need of a designer ASAP and he doesn’t have the time to interview and hire new ones. It’s almost time for their winter line to be out but he has nothing, and his head designer was pregnant and almost lost her baby due to overworking, guess the creative department’s boss can be quite hard to handle and so she had to take a break. Eum... Well he heard of you and asked me to see if you’ll be up to take her job for a while, he offered to pay triple her salary”  I closed my eyes and bit on my lower lip, money was never an issue for me and my dad knew it. *But, what about my own job?*

“I know you could care less about the money, but I owe him a lot, he saved my business once so please don’t refuse. Pwease, pwetty pwease honneeeeeh” I coughed hardly at the sudden aegyo outburst, giving me the urge to throw up. *Oh my god! If you weren’t my dad and were beside me, you would’ve earned a smack* He was still at it making me dizzy with all of that. “Dear Lord! Fine just stop, I’ll do it” I covered my ears while yelling at the phone.

“Whoa! Minhee was right, aegyo really is your weakness.” He said and I gasped in shock... were these two?

“DAD! Have you two been teaming up against me?”

“Nope I just asked for a weapon to make you give up, and she gave me one” I can imagine a victorious grin on h
