Junhui fixed the blanket, tucking Wonwoo warmly under the cover. The fox had passed out because of overflowed magic in his system that came from Seven Heaven. The wound on the stomach and also on the palm was still healing; Junhui had treated Wonwoo so that the magic didn’t interrupt Wonwoo’s healing ability. The thing that Wonwoo needed now was a good rest and Junhui was sure Wonwoo will probably pass out for some good hours to recover. The magic made Wonwoo exhausted to the core. The contact was long anyway. Junhui closed the door and stepped into the living room. He shut his eyes for a while before opening it to look at the guy on the couch. “I don’t get it why you come here. And how even you know where he lives, Mingyu.” Junhui bit his lips. Now that he knew about his past, the name felt bitter on his tongue. Mingyu looked up. He didn’t hear that Junhui already came out from the room. Right after Wonwoo passed out at the graveyard, Junhui caught Wonwoo from the fall as Wonwoo’s magic worn out. Mingyu was stunned to see everything happened before his eyes. Junhui didn’t care about anything else and just transported him and Wonwoo back to their house. Mingyu startled when they’re gone and quickly left to Wonwoo’s house. When he knocked the door, Junhui was treating Wonwoo. Junhui just let him in but left him alone in the living room as the witch was still busy healing the fox. “I- have followed him here one time.” Mingyu said lowly. Junhui looked at Mingyu before walking to the kitchen. He grabbed drinks and brought to Mingyu. Mingyu thanked him, Junhui seated on one of the couch. “I just... curious.” Junhui frowned. “What?” Mingyu looked at Junhui. “Why he let me- why he wants to prove his immortality when he wasn’t really sure Seven Heaven won’t take his life? What is he? Why-” Mingyu couldn’t continue his words because his thought jumbled up. He couldn’t talk, his mouth left opened. Junhui looked at Mingyu. “If I tell you about him, would you believe me? You see me as your enemy because I help him, and Wonwoo had been your family’s enemy ever since.” Mingyu clenched his fist. “Just tell me and I will decide whether I will believe it or not.” Junhui sighed. “Okay then. I will tell you.” Junhui said. Mingyu waited for Junhui’s next word. Junhui took a breath. “Wonwoo wasn’t a nine-tailed fox from born. He was reborn as one, by the deity for a purpose.” Junhui paused. Mingyu didn’t show any response so Junhui continued. “I also was reborn as the witch as his aid for his purpose. And both of us only could return to the afterlife with one condition that been set up by the deity, that’s why both of us are immortal. But that doesn’t mean both of us won’t get hurt. We do, with him healing a bit faster than me judging from his enormous power as nine-tailed fox. But...” Mingyu looked at Junhui who paused for a bit longer this time. Junhui took a breath. “Seven Heaven had a magic from God of Afterlife in which could harm mythical creature like us, it might not killing him or it could be, we never know. But if he died not from the fate he supposed to face, both of us will be damned. And you know exactly what is that mean.” Mingyu nodded. “Damnation is something that every creature had been feared off.” Mingyu commented. Junhui nodded. “And about the history between your family and Wonwoo.” Mingyu looked at Junhui. “That night, Wonwoo wasn’t the one who did that. He was at the scene because he was helping a lost boy. I have no proof to give to you but being nine-tailed fox, Wonwoo tied closely to the deity. If he did something bad even slightly, he directly received the punishment. So for the long he had been living he helped people not harming. He would never do such thing to your family. He was just at the scene on the wrong time.” Mingyu looked away. He was staring into spaces. “Now, it left to you either you want to believe it or not. I have explained what I should.” The silence settled in between them before Mingyu suddenly got up. Junhui followed his movement with his eyes. Mingyu glanced at Junhui. “I will see him for a second before leaving. Don’t worry, I won’t do anything.” Junhui frowned. He wanted to protest but Mingyu already made his step to the door. Junhui watched his every step, making sure that he kept Mingyu on check. Mingyu entered the room. He stepped inside, inching closer to the bed. The male was tucked warmly under the blanket. Mingyu was still thinking about what Junhui had told him. “Why you insist on proving your immortality to me? Why? I still don’t get it. Is it because you want me to trust you... so that you can fix the misunderstanding my family had?” Mingyu said softly. He stared at the sleeping face. Mingyu felt his heart beating fast and reached up. Mingyu frowned. “What’s happening?” Junhui looked up when Mingyu came out from the room. Mingyu looked at him for a while. “I’m leaving. Sorry for the interruption.” Mingyu said, bowing and left. Junhui furrowed his brow, seeing Mingyu to the door. He went to check on Wonwoo later and let the fox rest after making sure that he was just fine.     Wonwoo stared at himself on the mirror. It had been five hours since he woke up from passing out. For the record, Wonwoo had been out for 34 hours solid. Wonwoo sighed as he stared at the scar on his stomach. It didn’t heal completely yet but the pain had subsided. He knew Junhui had healed him more than necessary because at this rate, he could feel he will heal faster than he predicted. Wonwoo put on his shirt and buttoned up. He was getting ready to go to the company. “Why you’re insisting? I can get a day break because you should-” Junhui was talking from the room while Wonwoo was getting ready in his wardrobe room. “Wen Junhui, you know exactly you have used a bit too much of your power. I healed faster.” Wonwoo said calmly. There’s no sound from Junhui so he continued. “The one who needed rest is you.” “I’m fine. I have energized while you’re out. But I’m suggesting a day off because-” Wonwoo smiled as he tidied his coat. “Don’t worry. I will be just fine to see him again.” Junhui sighed as he leaned against the door frame, looking at Wonwoo’s reflection. “Please, don’t ever do something like that again.” Wonwoo smiled. “That will be the last time.” Junhui crossed his arms in front of his chest. “You better be holding on that word because if you’re not, I will make sure you suffer from breaking a promise. You promise me that I can take you out if you’re exposed to danger.” Wonwoo grinned. “I get it. Now, let’s go.” Wonwoo said and turned, nicely in his working suit. Junhui nodded and walked behind Wonwoo. They left the house to the company after that. Arriving at the company, Junhui stopped right at the entrance as he passed the key to his driver to park it. Junhui rarely used his driver’s service and he assigned the guy as his bodyguard more than a driver. Yuna had been waiting to greet both of them there. Wonwoo was looking at a direction when Yuna greeted them. Junhui took notice and turned. Mingyu startled when he saw the two males. He didn’t expect to meet them this early. Mingyu was flustered when he met eyes with Wonwoo. Wonwoo gave a smile and Mingyu gulped. Junhui was watching the little interaction. Yuna noticed the tension. “Sir?” Junhui put his hand up to silent Yuna. Yuna nodded. Wonwoo and Mingyu were still in staring contest. “Why you’re staring at me, dammit?” Mingyu was the first one to say something. Wonwoo smiled. “You’re staring back.” Wonwoo said making Mingyu narrowed his eyes. “Are you kidding me?” “I’m not.” “You!” Mingyu clenched his fist. He was about to lash out before sensing stares around them. He looked around and froze. Damn, I forgot where we are and who he is... Wonwoo chuckled softly to the changing face of Mingyu, knowing that the guy noticed their surroundings. “My, my. You’re still feisty as ever, junior.” Mingyu frowned as his eyes focused on Wonwoo again. Wonwoo stepped closer to him and patted Mingyu’s back. “I didn’t know you work in my company, I heard you graduate with high grades. I’m proud as your senior.” Wonwoo beamed. Mingyu was confused until he captured what Wonwoo was doing. “Ah, you’re annoying as ever, senior. I can’t believe this is your company. You’re the chairman?” Mingyu played along. People around them began to murmur, taking that the lies Wonwoo created in order to save Mingyu from being judged for being rude to the chairman. Wonwoo smiled. “You haven’t met me yet. Yup, I’m MoZ’s chairman.” Mingyu rolled his eyes. “Okay. I shall go. See you again, Mr Chairman.” Mingyu faked a bow as he gave a death glare to Wonwoo. The other male was just chuckling as he let Mingyu go inside the building. He heard people were talking about their shock knowing the new staff and the chairman knew each other. Wonwoo just shrugged it off and turned to Junhui. Junhui walked to him. “What a scene.” Junhui commented. Wonwoo just smiled. “Let’s go Yuna. Tell us about our schedule on the way up.” Yuna recovered from her daze and nodded as she followed their steps into the building. To be honest, she’s also shocked to earlier incident. She had been there when Wonwoo and Mingyu met up before and she wondered what exactly the relationship they had. But for now, she could see Wonwoo helped Mingyu earlier. “That’s all, sir.” Yuna said and the elevator stopped at their level. Three of them stepped out. Junhui gave a nod to her and Yuna left. He turned to Wonwoo. “I think now you settle a new relationship with him. I guess he accepted what I told him.” Wonwoo turned to Junhui. “What-” “A little explanation for the misunderstanding you had with his family.” Wonwoo nodded. “Okay. Just don’t ever tell him what he is to me and that kiss.” Junhui nodded. “I won’t.” Junhui said and gave a smile. The two walked to their office after that.     “Hey.” Wonwoo looked up at the guy who casually entered the office. He raised his brow as he didn’t hear any barking voice. Did something happen while I’m occupied? “Why are you here, Kwon?” “This time is for work.” Soonyoung gave
