This layout, Defining Summer, is based on my entry for Layout Paradise's 'Design Your Own Layout' a few years ago. I believe they discontinued that event and since then (July of 2015), this design has just been sitting in my portfolio.
I've been meaning to code this layout myself because it's such a waste to just have it there when the layout looks decent enough to be shared for others to use.
