4 WeeksKuanlin felt a bit awkward having someone else in the store at this time of the day. He was so used to being alone that he mostly does nothing but read the back covers of the records and hunt for the most inappropriately named producers. But not today. Because today, Park Jihoon was with him.
Kuanlin was sitting in the bar stool behind the cash register and was satisfyingly observing Park Jihoon across the room.
“What's your favourite song?” Park Jihoon asked him, head popping up from his crouched position. Park Jihoon was almost kneeling to get a closer look at the records under the shelf of Presley.
“I've never really had one.” Kuanlin realized as he answered.
“That's odd.” Park Jihoon said with the most innocent-looking face in the world.
“How about you?” Kuanlin was genuinely curious.
“You may not have it here yet.” Park Jihoon smiled as if he remembered something sad from the past.
“I'm sure I can find it somewhere if you told me the title.” Kuanlin smirked confidently. His father has access to the town’s largest record outlet in the capital. It may take some time for the latest releases to be delivered to their store but the largest outlet in Taiwan is known to have everything from every other country as soon as it’s released.
“No you don't understand, it may not have come out yet. Maybe it will be released twenty years from now.” Park Jihoon stated as if it was the most normal thing in the world.
