He bites
4 Weeks“It's your turn,” Kuanlin reminded his hyung.
They were seated side by side on the edge of the massive trunk of the century old fallen tree. Park Jihoon had his head on Kuanlin’s shoulder, their feet dangling over the merry flow of the river below.
“You said you had something to show me?” Kuanlin asked.
“Right.” Park Jihoon turned away and rummaged his backpack. He took out a black moleskin notebook. Jihoon hesitated before facing Kuanlin. It was very hard to ignore that Jihoon was in the middle of an internal debate, currently making a very important decision which involves the note he was holding, Kuanlin waited patiently.
When Park Jihoon finally turned to face Kuanlin, the older boy’s face looked nothing like the giggling and adorable bunny Kuanlin had met. Park Jihoon exuded a very authoritative aura and he looked at Kuanlin with a very determined gaze. Kuanlin felt small as he faced his hyung who was dead serious. For the first time since they met, Kuanlin felt intimidated and he was thinking that indeed, Park Jihoon was older than him.
Kuanlin straightened his back in acknowledgment of the tensed atmosphere. Kuanlin suddenly felt ill at ease despite the soothing hum of the current below them. He can sense that whatever Park Jihoon is about to impart must be of grave importance.
Jihoon placed a hand on Kuanlin’s shoulder and said in the most serious tone Kuanlin has ever heard, “I'm going to show you something but you have to promise that this will stay between us. You need to ABSOLUTELY keep it a secret. Do the pinky promise with me.” Jihoon stuck out a pinky from his other hand. Kuanlin was anxious but he knew he'd still do anything his hyung tells him to. So he took Park Jihoon’s hand, the one resting on his shoulder, and kissed the palm before intertwining their pinkies and sealing the promise.
“I promise.” Kuanlin told Jihoon in a very deep voice, trying so hard to show that he was taking this thing very seriously too. Kuanlin saw his hyung shiver a bit and to both their surprise, Jihoon turned beet red.
